Honestly, they have the self checkout but still dont have enough employees to clear the checkout line due to all the errors these machines encounter... And when you ask for them to fix the machine so you can continue the transaction: you're met with the stink eye and the most rude employees i've ever witnessed... I was trying not to hold up the line but was met with disrespect from the employee rudely saying "give me a minute!" While looking at a blank screen/possibly their phone. Honestly if you don't have time to wait on slow and rude employees, go to another location as this one is not worth it.

I'm going to tell you why I'm switching to dollar tree and will never, ever shop at Dollarama again. Today when I put my items on the counter to cash out, I was asked to use the self checkout. What ???? You are right fricken there !! Combine that with your new eco fees, inflated prices and horrible service, you've got a recipe for customers leaving to go down the street to dollar tree. Who btw, don't charge extra eco fees, always have cashier's available and every item is priced the same. Why would anybody go to Dollarama now is beyond me.

We make a special trip to Canada to go to Dollarama as well as other stores. They have a wonderful selection of merchandise.

It's the dollar store that nothing is actually a dollar. Unless it's select chocolate and candy that's under a dollar. You may find what you need and sometimes the quality is good and other times it's what to expect for the price

Had to renew my review, you see, they have this one employee, he refuses to work, he stands behind a cash register, looking like he's important but oooh no, once an employee comes he does EVERYTHING in his power to send to self check out. Those machines are cancer and cause more Hassel then anything plus this employee is more willing to just get ya out the store so he can get rid of next customer fast. After all these machines enabled laziness, this employee proves that. Why have him behind a register if he's afraid of pressing buttons or having human interaction. Have him in back, put more friendly employees upfront you have lots.

The staff at 14.45 refused to help me(delivering through uber) figure our if items were in stock or not. She said it was not her job and that I have to pay her extra. She needs to be fired! A slim old lady! These kinds of behavior should never be tolerated at any organization!

Very expensive for a Dollar Store. Should re-name it to Over $1 Store. Sorry but really?

This is a good store. They stick their shelves with useful items & it seems well managed & organized. The staff might not be the most outgoing but they are cordial and it must be tough on them with a constant flow of customers all day long.

One of my favourite places to shop in Canada. Usually a good variety of items to choose from and helps me save a buck or two compared to other stores. Highly recommend!

Thanksgiving &Halloween decor time!

This store is located in Fairview Mall. There is a street entrance and a mall entrance. It is a typical size Dollarama with many long aisles. The staff is friendly. It wasn't easy to find staff stocking shelves to ask where things were so I asked the cashiers. The cash registers aren't set up like other stores where there is a long corridor so everyone waits in the main walkway. Since it is part of a mall, there is plenty of parking.

Wednesday March 31st - 9:20 am store has been open 20 minutes lineup already down to the back...ONE CASHIER. End of the month, holiday weekend and one cashier👎

Always find what I need in stock. Only thing that can be better is to get rid of clutter that are blocking me from going through the aisles and the lignup for the cashier is way to long.

The staff are always so polite, smiling and happy to help you at this location. It’s a very busy location opposed to the newer one in the area but worth the small wait time to check out here because the staff at the new location are very unwelcoming.

I recommend them because they have courteous staff, clean store, sanitized, wheel chair accessible, within Fairview Mall. Low prices especially for low income seniors and families.

This was the dollarama at Fairview mall in st Catharines. I was disappointed at their efforts to handle Covid. The traffic patterns have people tripping over each other and it's because their cash is right beside the exterior door. They would be better to open the mall door slightly and make it exit only so no one has to cut through the line ups for the tills or try to get out when others are trying to come in.

This place is aways busy . Friendly staff, and always have well stocked shelves.

This is a nice dollarama location staff are really nice and will help you find what your looking for. I always find what I need here for cheap.

Because of covid 19 there is only 2 to 3 cashiers. There is always a big line up to pay for your purchases.

Do a good job keeping track of how many people are in the store. All clerks were friendly. Line to check out is a bit squished close to shopping aisles

One staff member in particular is absolutely amazing. She is friendly and is extremely upbeat which is so contagious.
