Go anywhere else. This Rona has the worst organization. I placed a phone order and paid for the item up-front using my credit card. The lady told me the item would be in within a week, but when I never heard back, I called in and they had NO contact information for me. No name or phone number. They said someone must have deleted it or not saved it. My credit card was already charged so after about 30-45 min on hold, they were able to find the order with my credit card info. After 3 weeks, the item finally came in (not within a week as quoted on the phone). I rented a truck for 90min thinking this would be sufficient time to grab an order and drop it off at my house. On Friday May 7th, we arrived at Rona St Catherine’s at 5:35pm, we called the number and after 10-15min someone came out with a paper and told us to get in the drive-in line-up (MAKE SURE you have the paper first). There were only about 4 vehicles in front of us, but we waited until 7:30PM!!! The staff were standing around throwing tape balls and taking smoke breaks. In summary, it took almost 3 hours to do curb-side pick-up for ONE item. I got charged DOUBLE for my truck rental because I brought it back late. This place needs to figure out a better system.

Staff working was super friendly, they deserve 5 stars, company gets a 1 Star. So I had to buy something online, and I used a coupon. They emailed me back saying they couldn't fulfill part of my order. The refunded me less then the price of the item. They canceled part of the coupon price. My total order even without the item was still above the amount to use the coupon. "When an item is returned or cancelled it will not relocate the discount to the remaining items." Why is it the customer's fault that their online stock says it's available and it's not so it gets canceled, my total order is still above the min order to get the discount. They are refusing to honour their coupon because their online ordering system sucks. This is why I'd rather just shop at Home Depot or Canadian Tire.

I spent 40 min looking at merch in directly in front of customer service desk. Not 1 staff member spoke to me or offered to help. I fully intended to purchase large items. I took my business to another store that has better customer service.

Lots of plywood. I haven't been there in a while almost to much for my brain. I looked at the battery powered snow blowers and WOW very expensive. I have a old track drive craftsman snowblower from the 80s that does just as good. Flooring lots of colors, and I should have bought my bathroom taps and sink counter before else where the price was about $40 cheaper

I came here to buy plumbing materials. Our friend and the person in charge treated us like thieves, closed the door and turned on the alarm. It was not a nice move.

I was here today during the Covid pandemic and Rogers was down so my phone wouldn’t work. I approached the store and they did a great job finding my order. Great service

I visited this store a few times. Very small but a lot of nice products are inside. Employees are very friendly. Last time I bought oak stair steps. High quality and lower prices.

Haven't been to this store in a long time. But still great store to shop at for any of your needs at home.

Not gonna lie , I'm not a fan of Rona lately. Staff generally are not very helpful or in great moods. I find most things are priced higher than competitors. Will use as a last resort. Most likely wouldn't eecomend.

This place has gone down hill since rona took it over. No access to yard to shop for lumber. When you want to purchase lumber you need to go to service desk wait to get waited on then wait for a print out then go and wait at cash After paying for you purchase then drive around back and again wait for service. Not again ! Will drive the extra distance and go to home depot!

Your delivery guy ( Gordon) just dropped off my composite deck boards order and did a great job maneuvering around a pile of dirt at end of driveway, a hydro light post and a company trailer and put it right where I wanted it like it was landed with a helicopter! Great job thanks!

Very slow at checkout and customer service - 15 min waiting to pay , 30 min at customer service . The above took place at the Niagara Falls Store not St Kitts

We wanted to change the part we bought the day before. They said they could not change it. So we bought the new part, paid for it, and when we were about to leave, the alarm went off. An employee named Lena came. She checked us and treated us like thieves.

Came here several times. Bought firepit, palm tree soil, hardwares. Employees were kind and helpful.

I went to Rona today because I felt unwelcome at another hardware store. I never right reviews, but feel like I have to. The young man who I asked where I could find something was extremely helpful. When I found what I was looking for, he came over with another product and explained it to me. I then asked him for something else, he later walked over with the hose (unfortunately it was the wrong size). I didn't get his name, but customer service well done:) Thank you for making it a more welcoming more experience.

During my Visit I had Excellent customer service from the 4 employees I had dealings with. The gentleman on the floor and 2 staff in customer service and the cashier. All very helpful and went out of their way to assist me. And as a bonus thy had what I needed in stock. Will be going back

Well very disappointed with this location, i want to be clear Rona is good store but no this location, customer service here is pointless, this location store should just skip a customer services because is better no to have customer services than have one with very mean people. If you buy something and is damaged or wrong keep in mind this location doesnt do any returns or exchanges. As a level 8 google reviewer this location have 1 star because there is no option for none stars.

Amazing service that you don't normally get from the "big box" branded stores. I was in St Catharines from out of town to fix a plumbing issue on a rental unit. I scrambled to get over there and pulled in just after 8pm closing. They were just locking up. They invited me in, helped me figure out what I need and got my supplies for me. It meant that all 3 of them got stuck there late, but were still helpful and inviting. THANK YOU!

Small indoor selection. Aside from that the store stills has everything you need between the indoor and out door selection.

Prices are better than others. Great place. Too many employees behind customer counter. Should be about helping people

Today Rona stepped in to help those that Toolbox delivery services failed to do. Management stepped in and personally delivered orders that were to be delivered by toolbox. Toolbox offers same day delivery for a fee of $70.. which is a complete lie. RONA MANAGEMENT IS TOP NOTCH. THANK YOU RONA TEAM FROM THE KIKLAS FAMILY

Mirek and Trish at the service counter are amazing, I had purchased a shelf elsewhere that almost every single screw stripped on when I was trying to set it up. They tried every single tool until they managed to find something that worked and fixed the entire issue. Thank you so much!

Went in, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Jennifer helped us, and when she didn't have what we needed, she looked online for the nearest store for us and found what we needed. Very good conversation and genuine. PS there is a possible ghost in the hardware section. Creepy and cool

Despite the person in line behind me whining like a school girl about a person in front of us, the staff were friendly and they had what I needed. I would recommend this establishment.

Bought a Remington 24” snowblower from Rona - Welland. Followed all the directions but couldn’t get it to go through the gears. I went back to the store and was told they don’t know how to make them run, they only put the handle on and display it. Called the 1-800 number to the USA and was told to contact Rona. I went to a small motor shop on #20 Hwy and they couldn’t help because they didn’t have that model in their shop but they said it sounded like the transmission is seized. Called Rona today, Christmas Eve and spoke to Norm, the manager on duty. He was no help at all, he said it was a warranty issue. UPDATE: I spoke to Mike at Rona and explained the situation. He told me to return the machine and he would exchange it. I borrowed a pickup truck and got the machine to them. I now have a snowblower that works and I appreciate Mike who offered the solution. Norm should take lessons from Mike.

Haven't been to a Rona in years. Needed a few quick things and it was on the way. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I can't remember the last time I walked into a retail store and have someone every 3 minutes ask me how I am doing and if I needed help.

Rona is great, less "corporate" than Home Depot. Great help, friendly staff.

So many choices at great prices! I found bargains today that I wasn't expecting, so they made a good sale from me.

Ordered flooring online and within 3 days my order was ready for pick up at the warehouse in rear of store. Friendly and helpful staff especially the guys working the yard in the warehouse. Keep up the great work guys

They had exactly what I went for and the staff was helpful. Larry at the contractor desk was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. They had a great supply of lumber. Keith and George at the contractor desk are extremely knowledgeable. And Chris in appliances is full of knowledge

Great store .. if and when you have any issues .. they figure it out quickly and effectively. They deserve an upgrade to the store from corporate.
