You know it’d be nice if this location at least updated their hours to represent that they aren’t open 24/7 anymore. I can only assume they close at 11:00pm because I showed up their at 10:50pm just to have their employees a few minutes later pop out the backdoor, see that we are waiting to order and instantly run inside to close up early at 10:58pm after we were patiently waiting. It’s okay though I went somewhere that is professional enough to not only post their hours but actually serve you during said hours. It’s a shame doing the bare minimum is too difficult.

Hello first of all the food is amazing and burger is too yummy and i got served by Norma . He is so nice and humble person and know to deal with the customers. Great job for norma and all the staff . Thank you .

The best fast food quality I've ever tasted! This place is super clean, staff is polite and provides great service. I don't remember eating in a fast food restaurant with cutlery and glass frozen mugs. The "eat in" experience is very good.

Worst experience!! I should have left when while waiting for my meal 4 ppl came in to complain of wronge orders. I asked gor no cheese add bacon and got cheese no bacon. Asked for no Sesame buns and got Sesame buns. Had to throw out 3/4 of a $75 order due to allergies. Is A&W tring to kill there customers? Never recommend and never going back!! I want to live

Literally worked there for 2 days on overnights and was fired because I brought up that the grills should be cleaned every night because there was so much buildup on them. I asked for their grill cleaner and they said they didn’t have any. All the other employees just sat in a booth most of the night just telling me what to clean…. To top it all off, the beyond meat is cooked on the same grill as beef burgers. It’s a filthy environment to be cooking in and if you bring up health and safety you’ll get fired.

Says they're open 24 hours but at 10:30pm no one will answer drive through. Drive around the building and see the employees sitting inside. Would give 0 out of 5 stars if possible for terrible service.

This location is alright, I can say the quality definitely hasn't been the same I the last couple years unfortunately. Hopefully they go back to the way the use to make delicious burgers before

This is probably the best a&w I've been too. Great service and they serve great quality food. The best beyond Burgers. What's special is how nice and thin they cut the onions here for the burgers. At some a&w they give you half an onion in the Burger which is super nasty. This location has great attention to detail.

I had the beyond meat combo today. Burger was great and the staff support too. I am just concerned with Onion ring as it was burned . Please use the fresh ones onion loops.

Ordered 2 Mamma meals.. 1 with onion rings... 1 with fries.. did not get fries.. also 2 blueberry turnovers... got apple.. will not go back there

My weekend staple is cheese and egger on a bun meal with green tea. Today I tried the new new croissant cheese and egger and loved it! The hash browns are the best fast-food ones in town. They have recently changed their tea and I am not a fan of the new tea - Jasmin. I will stick to root beer from now on. Service was quick and friendly.

Never been told at the drive thru that , well thats gonna take 10 minutes if you want to wait?? Was rushed and disapointed

This A&W is not the friendliest we have been going to A&W for 10 years since we have to out of town for treatment this one is our least favourite They don’t take expired coupons almost all do just no customer service here they could and can but refuse too that would fall under customer service most take them up to 2 years over its not like they will loose out The fry orders especially the sweet potato orders are getting smaller and we pay $1.00 more They are not open when they should be We change our route to avoid this one if we need to stop for food

Stop for chubby chicken sandwiches, sweet potato fries and diet root beer! Everything was great including the coupon price! Thanks A&W.

This is the best a&w I have ever had. I'm currently moving and we had to stop somewhere to eat on the way back and forth dropping of boxes and my god it's was amazing 🤩. The staff are so nice and the burger tasted so good! I saw them make the fries and apple pies in front of us fresh! And it's was mid day too! I amd definitely coming here again and I hope the people who see this review go to this location because golly me it's so 👍😊!

Was staying in the hospital and just wanted something other than hospital food… so my hubby got me a poutine. There was no gravy, the cheese wasn’t melted and tasted like rubber. Might as well have been the hospital style poutine. Nasty. Won’t be eating here again. So disappointed and expected more from a reputable restaurant.

I’m here visiting and back home there are no more A&W Root-beer restaurants. So when I saw one I had a major craving for a root beer float. Wrong!!! How is it the place that made root-beer floats a big deal no longer serves them? Huge let down. Don’t get me wrong clean pleasant and great service.

Stopped for a pumpkin latte. It was ok. Service was a little bit slow. Not busy either but worried about others and not about taking my order. I almost walked out.

went to my regular store to get a breakfast combo and was informed they had no coffee . I said ok how about orange juice. nope sorry it is still frozen you can have Any other soda drinks we also have lattes. I said ok just a small . normally it comes to under $10.00 she said $11.48 . I asked why is it more ? she replied because latte's cost more . but you are out of coffee so now I pay more? and to top it off I asked for a egger with sausage and confirmed it twice still got bacon... A&W needs to step up their game . Macdonalds is doing Mcmuffin and coffee $4.00 . and in niagara area if you have a CAA card any Mcmuffin hash brown and coffee $6.78 ! guess where I am going next time.

Misleading. Stopped at the fourth avenue location in St.catharines. Was looking to get the cheapest burger combo. So, i was paying attention to the menu. I ordered a "teen burger combo, with onion rings"..."ice tea" as a beverage. On the board as i evaluated it. The teen burger combo, was showing $8.49. The total was a shocking $16.66. 1 Teen $8.49 1 Rings $5.04 1 Combo Reg ice tea $1.21 I'm not sure if the definition of "combo" has changed or this is beyond misleading???? Not impressed. Won't be going to A&W. I then traveled to the next closest location in St.catharines and the exact same combo was showing $12.49...............

Burger and fries were luck warm. Very upsetting as the costs were high! No napkins in the bag at all. You have to ask for ketchup for fries. I forgot to ask. Teen burger combo…no deal all priced out separate!! With taxes $14.34! Never again! Be careful this place refuses many coupons.

What can you say about the Teen Burger other than just buy it. And do not forget the root beer. My favorite takeout food. People are always friendly.

Tasty A&W when you get out of the hospital!

terrible service ask for a fresh burger was met with a dry burger as well as being yelled at to put my mask over my nose as the cook was making my burger with his mask off when i had asked for him to put his mask up as she was so concerned with mine. i was met with hostility and told to leave the store came on wed 12:35 oct 6 it was a lady she also had her mask below her nose so im jus confused as to why we were kicked out when we asked for them to do the same i believe it was because my coworker and i where both black

The food is excellent for fast food. The price is competitive with other fast food restaurants but the food quality is much better.

The food was great and it was served promptly. Customer service was excellent they went above and beyond what I expected.

Good service food was fresh and hot. At time of writing the teen burger was on special, along with the apple pie....so guess what I ordered? The root beer is always a hit. In my experience they do not have the long drive through lineups that some of the other fast food chains have. Service was prompt and courteous.

Thank you A&W for bringing the Whistle Dog back. It's the only thing I order. I stopped going to A&W because they stopped selling the Whistle Dog. When I saw the sign that it as back I pulled into the drive through right away. However, you need to teach your staff how to cook the hotdog. Mine was barely warm and the cheese wasn't even melted. Otherwise you would have got a 5 star for bringing back the Whistle Dog

Fastest fast food drive through I’ve been through. I don’t usually write reviews but I was so impressed I had to. Ordered two combos and was In line for less than 1 minute. No idea how they did it.

The drive through staff on June 27th, 2022 at 4:30pm was exceptionally friendly! The fries were hot and fresh. Definitely our new choice for A&W in the city, even though it isn't our closest option.

Wish I could give zero stars. Just went in to get a coffee but there was no one at the order counter. Two people were preparing food. I waited around 5 minutes before one of them came from the back but before I could order they walked right past me to the iPad that was mounted and started typing in an online order. I just left. They never even acknowledge my existence. Worst A&W I have ever been to. Never stopping there again.

Either not open 24 hrs or your workers are lazy and closed over night either way do better don't advertise 24 hrs when your not
