Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a Tim Hortons. I thought the first time I went the employee was just having a rough day, but I'm noticing some patterns every time I go. Doesn't acknowledge me when I walk in, doesn't even ask what I want. They take almost 15 minutes to make 4 coffees, and when my order is finished, they throw down my food. I just don't think that is acceptable. Not going there anymore when I visit from out of town.

Ordered two ice coffees. Kid entered it wrong & took him 5 minutes to plug it in. Had him add more almond milk as it was black when he gave it to me. He definitely made one of the coffees with chocolate syrup & not caramel. Super annoying when you pay money for the wrong item you paid for. I don’t understand how people can be that incompetent.

This used to be one of my regular spots until I came in today to pick up my mobile order with my friend. The girl was obviously rude after telling her I was picking up two orders and forgot that I had the second order. We were in the drive thru and she kept throwing the bags at us without saying what was in each bag. When I noticed I was missing a few items she got very angry and snapped at us as well as her other workers. I showed them the bags and told them what I was missing but they still didn’t believe me. As a person who also works in customer service usually you would be more polite rather than snapping at the customers with your coworkers. My hashbrowns were thrown in the bag without a wrapper and my dream doughnuts were thrown into a bag as well. In the end I’m disappointed at the level of customer service at this tim Hortons and I won’t be coming back for a while.

We took two beverages out which were great. We also wanted the hockey cards binder, and since they had no more in stock, they were willing to part with the display item for the same price.

When my wait in line behind 1 person (who ordered a lemonade and assorted 6 donuts) with 3 ladies behind the counters takes a full 10 minutes, I am not inclined to be thrilled. The 5 people behind me agreed. Will avoid coming here in future, luckily a zillion other branches.

My mother and I went to this location for lunch, ordering 2 combo meals with coffee. After eating, we needed a to-go tray to take our coffees home, so I asked the person at the sandwich station for a tray. She told me I could get a tray at the other end of the restaurant, at the pick-up area. So I went over there, no one was there, and I reached for the pile of trays when an older woman ran over and jumped at me screaming, "That is NOT for customers to take for themselves!" Well obviously, I needed a tray, so I said, "Oh, I need a tray," and she promptly turned her back on me while I kept asking after her, "Hello? Hello?" Finally, the girl on cash had a break and she ran over to give me a tray. I don't know what the problem was with "Tim Hortons Karen" or "Karry out Tray Karen" but thanks to all the Tim Horton's locations, I'm happy to pick another location. A quick check of this location's Google and Yelp reviews seem to all echo customer service issues.... Tim, you've got a problem!

I went to Tim Hortons with my friend between 8:30 and 9 pm last night after an extremely bad day. There was nobody in line and very few people in store. It took us less than a minute to decide what we wanted. There was a young man behind the counter giving us a thousand yard stare, no smile, no greeting. We decided to split a single toasted coconut donut. It has been a while since we were in a Timmy’s post pandemic, and my friend tried to slide the coins across the counter, not realizing there wasn’t any hole in the plexiglas. Nine out of ten stores you have an area where you can slide things through on a hole on the counter. So my friend didn’t realize this immediately and had to lift his coins and pass them through a hole higher up. The worker acted like this was a big deal. My friend apologized to the young man, who proceeded to be extremely rude to my friend. The young man said in a really rude tone as the change was being handed to him, “not working so well for you, is it.” He was both apathetic and glaring. He didn’t say can I take your order, or have a good day, or smile, try to help, or anything. He was just extremely rude, with a sour look on his face. I work in retail and it’s been a while since I was treated with such rudeness. The donut was fresh, but my friend and I didn’t feel like staying and I doubt we will be back. Management should be aware that they have a young man working for them who doesn’t care at all, or didn’t for that interaction.

The best Tim's staff in St.Catharines . They will also add honey instead of that killer sugar or fake sugar. No drive thru but they make up for it in service

Literally the 2nd slowest no drive thru Tim hortons in ST. Catharines...12 people waiting ...1 person making sandwiches 1 person at till. Horrendous ..specially since it's mid day .

The tea was good. The donut was a bit crunchy. It was an Old Fashion Plain. The staff were friendly, The atmosphere at this one is a bit dull. I don't see anything that feels inviting at this location. Perhaps rearranging some things in the dining area would help. It's been the same setup for a long time

Why does your app force people to donate to your camp charity. Should have the right to choose where someone wants to donate. Will never order from Tim’s again if being forced to donate to their charity and the app makes it look like a tax. Very sneaky and very disappointing

Service was amazing!!! Darlene was perfect. Food is overpriced. I really liked that they did not have a drive through. I know not everyone will agree. But I found it a better option!

This is when i ask medium ice coffee with specifically said less ice with just 4-5 ice cubes. I am getting half a glass of ice. I think the coffee was less than small glass of coffee. It is not about one tim hortons location but everywhere and if i am trying to explain it to the cashier about what i need. The answer with a blank face is " ANYTHING ELSE" 😒.

Ample parking is just one more thing since all other merchants are overcharging the public that feeds and puts food to eat and shelter to keep us from the elements that rain down on the homeless. They don't want charity, only a place to put up their feet, eat, and a good night's sleep. While we're all trying to survive and make it through the Pandemic, and repair the economy to begin the process of lowering our deficit, not gouge the less fortunate or just to get by. We are strong, we are resilient, just don't have the same as the White House dinner table, and diamonds for the wealthy. We Work yes, and volunteer but even charity groups were unsuccessfully in remaining afloat. Do you honestly believe gouging your customers, and raising your coffee and food prices was a good business decision? Any business opened or opening to attempt to make up the last three years plus your lost profit from the previous four quarters × 3 years. This sounds more likely the actions of desperate persons in a group of pack rats all running. It's not just one merchant but all who had their businesses end due to the Pandemic.

Worst experience ever with tim hortons, neither happy face nor properly serving to me. Felt insulted and humiliated by the behaviour of this employee. There is big bulky guy with beard he doesn’t know about customer service…!!!

One of the locations who really know how to make correct ice caps Most of the locations put extra coffee in it which make it bitter in the end

Please take care of customers over cleaning. Your excuses are your own. The owner puts on a nice face for the customers but isn’t very pleasant to staff. How much money is enough?

Hardly found the seat in the place full of older people who just buy one coffee and they sit there forever more like a geriatric retirement center

Picked up 2 large dark roast coffees at the lakeshore and lake st location in st catharines. After ordering we were told total was $4.70 as also indicated on screen. At the pick up window we gave them $5 and waited for the change. The young man said the cost was $5. Now its only 30cents but it's the principle. Very disappointing.

Sometimes with a lot of customers service really slows down. Same with drive thru. If there is a big line it takes a while to get served. But staff work really hard & are always pleasant to deal with.

I've been hitting up Tim's again since they brought in almond milk. It's nice to be able to enjoy an Ice Capp or a London Fog at a reasonable price. Now if only they would get a plant-based donut!

Pathetic customer service. Stopped in Sunday to grab a coffee for our walk. Was in line for approximately 10 min due a huge order. I asked for a xl dark roast coffee. Then to be told, oh our coffee machine isn't working. I'm like, are you kidding me? Maybe you should have a sign up stating this or verbally warn customers as they enter. I walked out ticked off. No apologies, no nothing. I proceeded down to 7/11 where they actually know customer service and grabbed my hot bevy there.

Don't overlook the lack of drive thru. This is the hidden gem of all the tims in the city. Quickest service, nicest service, never screwed up my order(seriously how hard is black coffee? I'm looking at you lake&lakeshore)

Great location. Clean & organized, great staff, fairly new interior & fixtures. Not overrun with methamphetamine addicts. Pleasant to sit & use their hi-speed WiFi for an hour while you slowly down an extra-large coffee on a Sunday morning.

Older lady, with short hair that works there is very rude and unprofessional! My fiancé and I went in and she was rude taking our order, when she messed up our order got mad and gave us attitude, and then spilled someone else’s drinks thinking it was ours. I will NEVER come back to this time Hortons.

Sad to see the one downtown St. Catharines closed. But that's what happens when the team says we're not your servant. Let tim Horton's know you're getting paid from customers. Or they may sink too. Be nice to your customers. I could care less how employees feel they don't have to help deliver. Great to see the one downtown go.

People think Starbucks tastes better than Tim Hortons for some reason, I just don't see it.. I'm a simple man and I drink simple coffee, so I love the espresso here.

I was at Tim Hortons on Lake St.at about 10:15 this morning. Asked server how much a small pumpkin latte was. When she said the price I said no I’ll just have a small reg coffee and a blueberry muffin . It came to $6.04 . Without realizing it I paid for a pumpkin latte . I went back and the person making my coffee said no you asked for the latte, I told her that was originally! The cashier gave me the difference , the one making my coffee took the latte . As she was making my new coffee I heard her say Christ , she was quite agitated about doing ! Sorry I didn’t say something then! She was ignorant and rude! If she hates working with public , quit . She was an elderly person, very tall, hair up .
