    The worst experience ever. Ya I driver gets here. Doesn’t have a working debit machine. Tells me to e-transfer him instead. Refuses to turn on the meter because they only do flat rates from Thorold to Niagara. To top it off he has personal belongings like am electric razor, slides etc on the floor of the van. Unprofessional and sketchy. I e never been this disgusted with a company since moving here. Luckily my car is being fixed and I’ll never have to use these services again

    The short older lady, who has been with the company for a long time, over the past two years I have consistently had bad service with her. So unbelievably rude. And unnecessarily. The first couple times I let it slide, because I work in the service industry and know everyone has bad days and sometimes you deal with customers who are really rude. But she is always so annoyed anytime you ask for a car. She really should not be working with the public. I am no longer using St. Catharines taxi strictly because of her. And I’ve even heard other employees who are drivers say the same thing.

    Driver rear ended my new car while he was on his phone and I was stopped in traffic on the highway. Owner of the company came and he would fix the damage but when he was presented with the quote he refused to pay. He said that "he wasn't a rich man". Very unprofessional he offered me $1500 to fix $3400 worth of damage.

    Called to reserve a taxi and was told to call back another day? Really? What's the point of calling to reserve? The lady on the phone hung up on me, I called back and she was very rude and condescending. Do not use this company. Their reviews rating is low for a reason

    I called the cab at 2:10 and requested a cab to my address at 2:40 but the cab showed at 2:52. I am supposed to start my work at 3:00. The call centre guy told me you will reach before 3:00. But I know that my work place is 12 -15 minutes away. I reached my work place at 3:07. The driver didn’t even put meter on. They usually charge me $22 to maximum of $24 but this guy charged me $27 and didn’t even put the meter on. I showed up late and got a warning from my Manager. Worst experience ever I had in my entire life. If I can give them a zero rating I will do that.

    Called and requested a car telling them where we were going. Told 29 minute wait. It's cold and raining and my ASD son is getting anxious. Call them back 30 minutes later to be told the car picked up someone else going somewhere else. The driver never verified he had the right client. So now we are waiting for Brock Taxi. At least they make sure they are picking up the right passenger.

    They made me to update my review to zero star. Just today and in the cold they hold me outside for 20 minutes waiting and didn't answer my calls to say what's happening and when taxi comes eventually. I had to cancel my appointment. Very inappropriate and neglecting service. .....,..................... I took a taxi in the morning. Afternoon the taxi came to my place and returned me $100. When I paid the fair, two $100 notes were sticking together, and driver returned that extra $100. I may have not noticed that lost or where lost that money, but I noticed that nice people are around us... Thanks for making us to think positive.

    I worked a 12 your day and lost my keys to where I had to go to Canadian Tire and get them replaced. I'm no to familiar with taxis so for the ride there I called Central. I waited and was overcharged. On the way back I called these guys and saved 5 dollars for the same ride. The car was clean and the driver was very friendly. Good experience with them.

    I really enjoyed the service that was provided to me over the two consecutive days I required rides back to Welland early in the morning. Great driver, very professional in her duties and excellent experience dealing with the gentleman providing dispatch services. Thank you kindly!

    Used this taxi service for ride to the airport recently and was not pleased Driving was erratic going over the speed limit, not maintaining lanes. He must have attended to at least 20 different calls and responded to few texts. I asked him not to switch lane with one hand on the phone yet he continued doing it as he had to assign rides to other drivers. No regard for passengers safety Upon arriving he said they don’t accept credit/debit cards and had to give him cash. Costed almost double what Uber quoted. This is what you get for supporting local business. NOT RECOMMENDING

    The woman who drives this blue Honda civic for this company was extremely rude. I was walking into a local Tim Hortons where she was pulled right up to the front door completely blocking the handicap accessible ramp. When I brought this to her attention she was extremely rude and told me to shut up. She was parked here for some time waiting for a customer inside the store. When I called the company to advise them of the situation. She answered the phone and again told me to shut up and hung up the phone. This lady should have better manners and should not be parking in a "no parking" area that is designed for wheelchair access to the store. Based off this experience I can say I will never book a taxi through this service - at least not with this driver.

    Love this taxi company! They are always there when I need them, they are so kind over the phone and are honest! Its always a pleasure calling St. Catharines taxi :)

    The first time I used this company I had a gentleman pick me up. Great guy, price very fair. The second time I used this company had a 40 something woman pick me up at 1:30am to be at the hospital for my MRI. Instead of taking the direct route straight down Fourth Ave she took the scenic route all the way round Pelham Rd. I was picked up from downtown and was charged $24.00!!!! Keep in mind we were basically the only ones on the road. That was the end for me with this company. Scamming a customer is a no-no.

    Rudest receptionist ever. She laughed when i asked if I coupd book a taxi because the wait time was long. Just say you dont work well under pressure. Central taxi is far kinder.

    The cab showed in good time, but ABSOLUTELY WREAKED of cigarette smoke. I was in a bind with a dead battery and had to transport my 2 young children who would normally be strapped into carseats. The driver took little no care with the freezing rain and snow mix that fell overnight and was driving 60 km/h through a school zone, and slipping all over the road, while answering her phone and "dispatching." She almost missed 2 turns due to inattention (while using the GPS). After making one drop-off, the driver was writing on a clipboard and dispatching while driving us to our final destination. I felt extremely unsafe with this driver and will not be using thos company again.

    Horrible service! I booked a cab for early morning and they never came. I had to call and wait... The cab was horrible, smelled like an old ash tray! and don't think that you "get what you pay for" because their rate is just as high as the competition with bellow par service. Will never call them again.

    Service is awful. Told us a 5-8 min wait time and was taking over an hour to come. Ended up canceling and getting an Uber in a location where there’s no Uber services. Gets to show you how terrible this company is.

    Driver we had an experience with was a goof, charged 50 dollars to return an item a friend took on accident mean while he refused to turn around when they were 3 minutes away, instead insisted on driving to the falls first then back to St. Catharines. The driver also asked for an E transfer first to return the phone which was impossible without the phone we asked him to return. Very unprofessional.

    Heading into a nearby community for surgery this morning. Booked taxi night before. No taxi at booked time. Called. Told taxi was 7 minutes away. Say 10 minutes late. Is that ok??

    My son who no fault of his own is in a wheelchair was charged an extra $50 it cost him $150 to go from St Catherines to Niagara Falls and then back to st catharines when I called today and asked how much it was to go from St Catherine's to Niagara Falls and return trip I was told $100 which is still insane but okay but then the woman on the phone who was very rude informed me that because it was a wheelchair van and he required a wheelchair van and couldn't go in a regular car he was charged an extra $50. So if you have any type of disability that restricts you from a regular car call for a limo because it would be cheaper than these guys and you wouldn't get ripped off

    Not really reliable service. First, I called and asked if I could book, and the operator said yes. But when I told her about the pick-up and drop-off, she suddenly said they were busy. Not really a Niagara region transit.

    Extremely rude dispatcher on the phone. I was trying to get him to tell me the flat rates for driving from downtown St. Catharines to shorthills. He told me he doesn't have time to sit around all day telling me the rates. I told him this is why having the rates listed on the website would be helpful and he took offensive and hung up on me. When I tried to call back, he told me "I don't have time to talk all day about the website," which is fine, but I just wanted more information . He hung up on me a second time. St. Catharines taxi is a terrible service. The rates are not clearly listed on the website, dispatchers are extremely rude and curt, zero customer service, zero people skills. Additionally, since this company almost holds a monopoly on the taxi services in the city, they can justify charging $40 to travel from downtown St. Catharines to the St. Catharines entrance to Short Hills. Uber cost $20. Use Uber. It's safer, cleaner, more reliable, the rates are clear before you buy, and there's honestly, no merit to a company that abuses and robs its customers. Sorry, this is not a service anyone should support or be interested in using. Use Uber.

    Horrible. Booked them hours in advance - at the last minute they bowed out! What? Really? Horrible. We are visitors here and this is how we are treated? At the last minute if not for the BnB owner we would have been hooped!

    always called this place for ride to Niag Falls from St Catharines and friend paid 35.00 when we got there. Now 40.00 and have to pay before I get there. Over priced ignorant and will never call again. PS Brock taxi still charges 35.00 and I pay when I get there. So long st cath taxi

    there was a bit of a delay with the time i was told and the time the driver arrived, but both the driver and the operator were very kind and professional (i got where i was going and it was fine!). i'd suggest calling a little earlier than you usually would, just because it's a small company that covers a pretty big area so they take a little bit to arrive.

    Do not use this taxi company. We had to take a taxi to a location we go to at least twice a week from our home. We called one taxi company who said the fare would be around $15. We called St Catharines taxi as the other company said it would be an hour before they could get there. The driver did NOT go the most direct route (actually TWO different routes would have been shorter at 5.7 km and 7.2 km). It was not during a busy time of day (9:30 am). However she took a long convicted route and charged us $30!!!!!!!!! Gouging!!!! Adding a note. I contacted the company about this and they reimbursed me the extra fare that I paid which is fair. The owner indicated that this incident was an honest mistake on the part of the driver. I accept that.

    Wheel Chair cab left a 90 year old lady abandoned at a 20 minute doctors appointment for over an hour due to dispatcher wanted another $6 fare. Drivers highway driving skills were severely lacking driving between 80 - 100 kms leaving occupants wondering if vehicle was going to be rear ended by on coming traffic. Rates charged were well over priced for the lack of respect to the cab user. Shame on you

    I have had nothing but great experiences with Saint Catherine taxi yeah they might be a couple minutes late but what can you expect at this time of year? The drivers are all super friendly and the owners are super understanding if you have an issue Just give them a call
