I went there to fix my Disney Belle necklace today. The glass part was broken so I went to the pen centre store to get it fixed. I asked the staff a few questions regarding the warranty because whoever sold me the warranty at the beginning was not so cleared about it. Apparently, the warranty would no longer valid if they replace the whole necklace. The staff looked annoyed by me and told me that I was more than welcome to take the broken necklace home and saved my warranty. What a great customer service...

Bought engagement ring and wedding ring 12 years ago with life time warranty. One of the diamonds fell out not too long ago. Came back for a replacement/fix. Manager said he cant do anything as it was while back.... I was not in the system by phone number or by my name....even tho i had a purchase receipt. I spent over 2k on these rings and now when shlt hits the fan, they dont want to fix it. No wonder their rating is 2.8.

I truly don't understand why people give this store bad reviews, the people working there like Darlene and Dave are great hearted people. They look out for your best interests with whatever jewelery you are looking for. The products they have are great as well. For anyone who is going to this location definitely ask for either Darlene or Dave!

Great service ! I hadn’t had my rings cleaned and checked since the beginning of Covid and happened to be in the mall without my paperwork. They were able to check my rings and lookup my information for me without hassle. I was also able to take a photo of the information for next time so now it will always be on my phone. I appreciate the help, highly recommend!

Such a pleasant experience at this location. I've made a few important purchases here and Darlene has always been very helpful.

Visited with my wife to do some jewelry shopping. Staff was very friendly. My wife already had an idea of what she wanted from the website so the entire process was quick. Staff treated us with respect and was so kind.

Dave, the store manager provided exceptional customer service. Overall very welcoming and helpful to remind me about the warranties purchased with my gift! Very willing to show multiple other rings on display for future references. He makes a good first impression for people especially if it’s their first time!

Went in last night and was greeted by Ola. She was fantastic. She was so polite and kind, was incredibly patient, outlined all the expectations and options and never tried to push anything, or upsell. Compared to many of the other jewelers we have visited, nothing was nearly as good as the exceptional service we had here. Thank you Ola!

My partner and I were in this weekend looking at engagement rings and when I found one I liked that we were ready to purchase, the system was giving them a hard time. Both Darlene and Dave went above and beyond to figure out what the issue was and even called us at home with updates. We got it resolved with great service and we left VERY happy (especially me lol). It’s my second time visiting here. There are really busy because obviously they're located in the mall. Despite this, Darlene was so kind to make sure she came to assist me with my diamond check and cleaning. She knows how to multitask, she’s super polite and quick. Thank you. My fiancé and I were in need of wedding bands. With non essential businesses closed for in store shopping, it was incredibly frustrating to find what we were looking for. I called People’s and spoke with Darlene who made the process incredibly painless. I told her exactly what I was looking for and she sent me photos within 30min of what they have available. She went above and beyond and answered all of my questions. 2 days later, I was able to get my curb side pickup. Thank you again Darlene!

My fiancé ordered a pair of earrings online for my birthday, we went to pick them up from store as soon as we walked in we felt judged and very unwanted. After waiting about 20 minutes to pick up our order that was placed and payed for, an older women with unbrushed hair walked up and asked what I was here for I explained that I placed and ordered and I’m here to pick them up, she grabbed them from behind the counter and pretty much threw the box on the counter, put the box in the bag and said “bye”. No people skills or customer service unless your spending tons of money there. Worst first experience, I’ll never go back.

Here at 11 on Sunday, staff inside setting up, looking at us like we have 3 heads, finally decided to unlock the doors at 11:06, if I could give 0 stars I would.

I visited the Pen Centre location today looking for mens wedding rings. As I walked in, I noticed three associates (one male) by the cash counter talking and another associate helping a customer. I was not acknowledged by any staff as I did so. I proceeded to locate and look at the men's rings. I did look up at them but they were too busy chatting about store business. I continued to peruse the rings. I looked up and turned around finally catching the eye of one of the female associates. She did ask if I was waiting. I said yes, I would like to see a couple of rings. She did assist me but I definitely wanted to walk out. I will not go back. People's has always been one of my favorite jewelry stores. Not anymore. Through all of this covid pandemic, you'd think that customer service would be on the forefront of customer service goals

I don’t know anyone with a positive experience with peoples however I wanted to give them a shot.walked in and immediately pushed to the cheap inexpensive jewellery by the staff member.told her I didn’t want that was looking for something nicer and was told I couldn’t afford it (had over 2 grand in my bank)and pressured to buy some thing I didn’t want. Don’t go here my friends have told me similar stories as well about peoples.
