Really cool concept for Indian food where you pick your bowl with rice, or a wrap. The breads are super fresh. This is probably the best North Indian food I have found in Paris that tastes like back home. The interiors are well designed, vibrant, and colourful. Downside- the cutlery, especially the water bottles, and glasses were not clean. They have scale marks and look unpleasant. The staff needs a bit more of training. They were kind but overall there was a lot of confusion.

I had the butter chicken with zucchini and potatoes with a passion fruit drink. Everything was so good and flavorful. Definitely would come back!

Tandoori salmon was absolutely delicious. The curry lentils on the side are a must have. I would recommend taking Naan bread over the lentil snacks. Staff are very friendly and in a very nice restaurant

Slightly different concept than a regular restaurant, you come up and order from a selection of available rice, curries, and vegetables, pay and then sit at a table. Very good portions for very reasonable price. The chicken curry was nice but personally I would have preferred more spice. The Bollynan lemonade was really good! The staff were nice and had good English.

"I always cherish Indian food. It doesn't just fill my stomach but also nourishes my soul. I'd like to suggest their perfectly blended cultural dishes, friendly staff, and their ever-smiling faces. Their positive attitude truly deserves appreciation. Also, thank you for the complimentary dessert.

A descent Indian food restaurant, but lacks the real Indian inspired zest of what we are used to in other countries and in Canada (outside Toronto). The butter chicken was pretty plain. The naan is 2/5 and although it’s fresh, it lacks the puffiness that authentic naan bread has (they bake on site which seems pretty cool). Do not get the garlic naan as the bread is opened and they add chopped garlic … what? Prices are reasonable and the restaurant is clean.

Very good foods for the reasonable price. The curry sauces were light flavoured side. The pickles before the casher are good options to adjust the authenticity. The music was not suitable for indian restaurant but it is my preference. They want to make the atmosphere more like a canteen or cafeteria.

One of the best meals I had during my 2 week stay in Paris, France! 🇨🇵 I highly recommend the Plat Maison, Mango Lassi & dessert. Everything is flavorful and cooked well. I think this is a gem. The gentleman 'Gga' who served was also very kind to us!!!

Very good food for a very reasonable price. Not sure about the authenticity, but it seems relatively authentic. everything is made fresh, and well seasoned. small selection of beers, but both are quite good. Atmosphere is good, but the restaurant is kind of small.

The food is really good! The naan bread is really fluffy and delicious. It's a nice restaurant to sit inside but it is a little cold. The chai tea isn't great and I would not recommend it. You can choose what you want to put in your bowl and there are many vegetarian options.

This place has great food, atmosphere and very friendly staff! We’ve been craving some Indian food in Paris I’m glad we went there I was burnt out from the food in other restaurants this hit the spot and they give generous portion. Very recommended!

Tried this restaurant last Friday. I found the food overall good. If you want to have Indian food which is low on spices then it’s a good place to try. Also, there of option to have something healthy like green beans and courgette which is unique. I am putting one less star than I would have liked because, for me, samosas should be always be piping hot. But when we ordered they were kind of pre-cooked. Loved the butter chicken though !

Had the butter chicken with plain basmati rice and palak (spinach). The quantity was sufficient, but the taste and quality of the food was mediocre. It filled the stomach, but that was all. I did not leave feeling satisfied because the price paid for the meal was fairly expensive considering the quality and taste of the food. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The food was amazing and kinda cheap, also the staff was very helpful and kind. 100% would eat here again on the next Paris trip.

A very pleasant surprise, you don't often come across places like this in Paris. With good food served with a smile (quality ingredients), not cliché and above all reasonably priced, I would definitely eat here again. Definitely would recommend to locals and tourists alike.

Very good! The rice is properly cooked. There are extra sauce provided according to the acceptance of spicy. The nan is freshly cooked. Masala is not too spicy so you can taste the ingredients. The price is fair with vegetables.

The staff spoke English which was helpful for us. They were very welcoming and kind. They kept my mango lassi in the fridge to cool it in time for my meal. Clean, tasty food with lots of option. I would recommend trying this place!

What a fabulous meal we had in Bollynan! Stopped to shelter from the rain, smelt the food and decided we’d found our meal location before the theatre. Such tasty food and what welcoming staff too. Don’t hesitate to visit! Highly recommend. The rose wine is good too!!

Nice atmosphere, the food is really delicious! I recommend going when it's not crowded so they give you a better portion because usually the plate is small

Food was out of this world good. From walking in to being seated and served, it took about 6 minutes. Couldn’t recommend enough, we’re going to try to come back before the end of our trip!

EAT HERE! After walking around Monmarte for far too long, we found Bollynan. My wife and I are vegan, love Indian food, and finding this place was a win. Sweet potatos in tomato gravy, yellow lentil dahl, biryani, and haricot vert were all delicious. And of course, garlic naan. No menu, it's all laid out in front of you, so your eyes can eat first. The restaurant is new, the interior very modern, but the food is the familiar Indian home cooking you love.

Lots of choices to customise your meal. Taste is authentic india little less spicy but taste good. 🎉 Thanks

Have always wanted to try Bollynan as they have good reviews. The concept is like a “traiteur” or take-away, you choose your plate and 2-3 choices of meat/veggie. The food was all made in advance and was heated at the counter in a microwave… Our plates were not even hot, though the flavour was okay, not terrible. However, the naan bread was HORRIBLE, I have never had a garlic naan this bad ever, as you can see in the photo, it was dry, flat, a bit burnt and no taste of garlic whatsoever. I brought it to the counter and asked if he gave me a nature naan instead? He was like, no it’s garlic naan… I saw a few pieces of like frozen garlic inside the bread and yeah 0 TASTE. For the concept, it wasn’t cheaper than a traditional Indian restaurant around. We def won’t be back.

Tout sont super!👌 Everything is delicious! Especially the amazing Nan pies which are baked in front of you traditionally in the fire! I loved it! And the people are friendly and kind. 10/10 Merci chefs!🙏❤😃

Biryani rice, chicken masala, chicken butter and paneer vegetables were really good. Finished with a generous cup of delicious mango lassi. Naan was served with 4 varieties of sauces. Indian music in the background was also good and not overwhelming. Recommended place for lunch or dinner.

Stumbled upon this place on a Thursday night. Very pleasantly surprised! Food was fresh and the owner helped us pick the spicy dishes - i wasn't expecting authentic Indian flavors, but that is exactly what we got with the butter chicken and chicken curry. Yellow daal was good, as was the saag. Naan was made fresh right when you order !!

One of the best Indian food experience in Paris .. feels like they are trying to make with Indian food what Chipotle did with Mexican ..keep it simple but not lose authenticity .. will sure go again .. The killer dish is their Tandoori Aaloo Paratha .. it is something like you will have in Moorthal ( Delhi to Punjab on GT road side) .. only diff being there they serve with White butter ( out of a bucket) ..here I had to buy a Raita and ask for complimentary Achaar .. Still , in the middle of Paris ..it is heavens for a desi foodie ..

After trying several restaurants in Paris and being disappointed time and again, I’m pleased to say my husband and I found Bollynan and it was such a pleasant and tasteful experience. The price was very reasonable. I had the chicken tikka masala with basmati rice and palak paneer (spinach with cheese) as my vegetable. It was delicious. The people working there are friendly and professional. Give this place a try and you’ll be glad you did.

  • 2/5 Aaron G. 2 years ago on Google
Expensive for what you get (paper plates, ordering at the counter, heated in microwave). Service personnel asked why we don't eat milk which is not professional to ask and the same guy was pushy, talked to my girlfriend in French, so that I can't understand and tried to push her to instantly rate them on Google maps, he wanted to see us rate them and was watching. Only when I told him we will do it later, not right then he let go and went away. The other service personnel were not as bad but that one guy's service is not acceptable. The food was okay.

Nice food, friendly service and a good price 👍

  • 5/5 Amar 2 years ago on Google
The food is very good. Though the names of the dishes are not what they are called in India, e.g. palak paneer is not what is in actually in India, though it tastes good, rather name it something else. The prices are good. You can order a combo as well as a la carte. Combos are the most famous ones. Best to take normal naan with your dish combo if not taking rice. Staff is polite and courteous. Will go back again and definitely recommend.
