Ordered a large fish and chips felt something sharp in my mouth when eating. Pulled out about 10 bones, never had this happen from any other chip shop. Clearly they don’t know how to debone a fish. Steer clear.

What has happened?! Used to be very decent now the standards have really gone down hill. Had fish and chips a couple of days ago and fish tasted like slop, curry sauce far too rich and chips old and discoloured. Needless to say I couldn't eat it. Taking money from loyal customers for sub standard quality - won't be returning.

Used to be the best.. but prices seem to have sored and service and atmosphere drop..shrinkflation i guess.. I took my visiting cousins here to sample battered chips. Asked for large to share out in the car on the way home.. Apparently there is no such thing as large or small any more just "tiny'... the portions were so small.. bit the cost was astronomical for 2 portions...

Dropped in at 5 tonight, ordered tikka meat and battered chips. Tikka meat was fresh and so was salad, however chips were not quite ready and unfortunately quite a few were raw which sorta spoiled the meal. Have been here on a Sunday before and the food was just fine. Hopefully it was just a one off. 🤞

I have to say .. isn't it nice to see such a busy chip shop so clean . Great hot food brilliant service thankyou i would recommend here and I'm quite particular where I eat .

Amazing chippy I come here every so often and they never disappoint. The food is spot on the staff are friendly and I’ll be back here soon for some nicely coated battered chips and a fresh Pie

Worst takeaway ever and I'm a local , the fish was slimey and the chips were like cardboard , we ordered 5 portions and everyone one was the same I even questioned the portion size as it was small but it didn't matter in the end as the food was not edible . Used to be really good to but not anymore
