The hostess is really friendly and welcoming, the chefs and waiters are polite and service minded. I asked questions about the preperations of some of the cocktails and the chef was more than happy to strike up a conversation and explain some of their tecniques. portion sizes have been adjusted since the last time i was here and although they are a bit smaller, it’s just right, you will leave here with a full belly. Great place to get a nice dinner in a quiet and friendly enviroment.

Mid-week reservation. We ran late and they held it for 30+ minutes. The entire staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the local ingredients and liquor. Diner was fantastic. We had the cocktail and wine pairings and the cocktails were exceptional. I will remember the cocktail aromas and flavors for a long time. Wine pairing on target also. Great evening and we will return as often as we can.

An absolutely amazing meal with an engaging and exceptional staff. The cocktail pairing with each course was a unique offering and so special. We were running over 30 minutes late and owner Elisabeth reached out and was both friendly and accommodating. Mixologist, Erik, was approachable and very talented. Everything from the open, warm, friendly, and unpretentious environment, to the food which was thoughtfully curated, beautifully presented, and Michelin star ready, to the cocktails and wine pairings - perfection. Recommended strongly by friends who make a point to hunt good food. In their words "best dining experience in Norway". Don't disagree in any way. Ola and Erik and Mari (pictured!) took care of every aspect of an amazing 7 course with drinks menu, with a cheeky beer thrown in. Notable is that it's all chefs, they handle every interaction at table, door, etc. Huge plus to the experience.

Really good food and service. This place manage to cater for both people with picky taste but at the same time being adventurous. We tried the 7 course offering with drink package and got cocktails to some of the servings instead of wine. That made a massive difference! New server with each dish explaining the food and we could see all the action in the kitchen as well. Highly recommend!

Conclusion: Good food, weak drink package, expensive! Too many of the drink package servings for the main courses were sweet… which is not something I appreciate. The drink package was a mix of drinks, bubbles and red wine. At least the red wine was nice! The food was good, but not spectacular. I would have expected more for the price. With all the sweet drinks I had been served, the dessert became a bit of a sweetness overdose unfortunately. Pleasant atmosphere and nice staff. Did not feel the meal was worth the price when I left, but that was mainly due to the drink package.

Great food, drinks and ambience! We had the set vegetarian menu, which was fantastic. Loved that everyone, waiters and Chef’s, introduced the ingredients at every meal. The organic red wine complimented the food perfectly.👌🏼 Highly recommend the drinks, which Mari made for us. Thank you to the staff, and for having us!☺️

It was a very good experience but not extraordinary. The food was good, the portions were just right and the waiters were very polite and friendly.

We had a stellar dining experience at K2. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and was more than happy to accommodate our dietary preferences. The food (and especially the broths and sauces) was excellent, our favorite dishes where the cabbage & whey, the chestnut crusted monkfish and the mushroom ‘tartar’. The alcoholic pairing was dosed expertly (we are not big drinkers and were not overwhelmed by the amount of alcohol) and creative (for it including not just wines, but also cocktails). All and all we had one of the best experiences we’ve ever had a restaurant and would recommend K2 to anyone that is passionate about food!

Extraordinary, breathtaking, beautiful. Extraordinary because the concept of this restaurant and the food is rare and valuable. Breathtaking because the taste blows you away. Beautiful because the interior as well as the dishes are beautiful and beautifully explained. The day after we’ve had our dinner the actually received their first Michelin Star ⭐️ very very well deserved. And may I add that the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the drink pairing outstanding!

Went to K2 last night and was very disappointed. Nowhere near the meal quality one would expect for the price. Service was good and cocktails were good but the rest of the dinner was very poor.
