Saab Sis Thai. Is wonderful, it is fairly new opening since January. The sisters who are the owners are great. Very polite and warm, inside of the restaurant it is so bright and has a lot of character. The food was spectacular, cooked very well, seasoned just right, nice and hot. All in all one of the best Thai places I’ve been to thus far, can’t wait to come back support and watch this fantastic restaurant grow! I definitely think this will be a hot spot during the summer!

This place has amazing, authentic Thai food. The drunken noodles are the best I’ve ever had outside of Thailand and the curries are fresh. Service was nice the one time I dined-in and takeout is always ready on time.

Some of the best Thai food I’ve had! I absolutely loved the spicy eggplant with tofu - a perfect vegetarian dish. The beef salad was fantastic as was the papaya salad. Interestingly, medium spice on the salads was MUCH hotter than medium spice on the spicy eggplant. The drunken noodles were very good as well. Service was friendly & fast. Exceptional experience.

This is the best vegan-friendly Thai food place I've been to so far!!! The prices are ridiculously low for the taste and the amount. Everything was so delicious I was scraping the plates and bowls and drank every last drop of my soup.all the soup bases are vegan which is SO hard to find nowadays and almost the entire menu can be made vegan friendly. They have rolled table clothes and glasses at every table and the atmosphere was magical. I can't wait to go back I'm actually thinking of going today (the very next day)😂 For spice level I would recommend getting a level lower than you get at other places. BUT if you live and breathe spicy food like I do then this place is perfect just as it is! One more tip; the chive pancakes were delicious, especially with the sauce, but they were a bit too oily fried. After letting them sit for some time it wasn't as oily but I'm going to order them steamed next time. They also have soy and coconut milk substitutes for their drinks!!

This thai restaurant is a very very delicious, great atmosphere and friendly service. The dishes that we order were Chicken Green Curry, Stir fried Basil, chicken fried rice, fresh soft wide noodles pad see-eiw, chicken satay, shrimp blanket and deep fried chives pancakes. Okay, that was a lot of food! They were all very authentic, fresh quality ingredients and excellent tastes. This is one of the most authentic Thai restaurant in the Detroit Metro area. The chefs have great hands. We drove an hour just to try this Thai restaurant. It was definitely worth the drive.

Pretty nice decorated Thai restaurant in Royal Oak downtown. The food was pretty authentic and delicious. We ordered Pad Thai, Lad na, chives pancakes, som tum and chicken wings everything was good except the wings were a little overcooked but overall a great place to eat.

Really solid Thai place. Location is really clean and modern and the staff was pleasant. The papaya salad was excellent as was their thai sticky rice. Wings and calamari were okay, the crab rangoon was perfect.

I live and die by Yelp reviews. This place didn't have many and their Yelp listing is still unclaimed. Decided to check it out with a group of friends anyways, especially since the Okemos location is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Google assistant can make reservations for you here which is awesome. Was seated immediately. Place was clean. Decor was adorable. Place seems recently remodeled. Food was served hot. Taste of the red curry was out of this world. Came with rice shaped like a heart. How cute is that. Best, most authentic Thai food in the area hands down! Service is top notch too. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Recommending it to all of my friends and will be back often.

Great food, and amazing atmosphere. The shrimp in the Tonyum soup and pad Thai was cooked to perfect tenderness. Very authentic Thai flavour, food was on the spicy side, but I absolutely loved it. Fresh ingredients seems to be the theme here, would have loved to get the sticky rice mango desert but it’s not yet mango season! Will definitely have to come more often

Visited recently with my husband for a post-work Thai craving. Cozy yet modern Thai cafe vibe with friendly staff. Although the spring rolls were a bit disappointing, the tofu drunken noodles and beef curry were bursting with delicious flavors. The unexpected spiciness caught us off guard – we guessed it was because we couldn't get the hot sauce we wanted due to current sriracha problem. We had a positive experience overall, thanks to the tasty main dishes, friendly staff, and inviting setting. We're excited to go back again soon! Must try!

Great place, small, cozy and comfortable. Delicious food we ordered A.10 chive pancakes and delicious l can eat that all the time, N.1 Saab sis pad Thai super good and mild it was ok because if I had ordered medium I think it would have been spicy and Sp. 5 Saab sis salmon curry mild too and my husband loved it, he said he will order again. Everything was delicious we will definitely return to enjoy more food. Great service and fast.

Good food good staff. Had a small error on one order, offered my choice of how to resolve the issue, and more than made up for it on the next. Shout-out to John for customer service. Happy with their COVID-19 precautions.

Ordered pad see ew with chicken and thai iced tea. I think they forgot to put the ice tea and with the cream for the drink and the pad see ew was so dry it was inedible. I won't be eating here again.

hands down the best Thai food I have had in the Detroit metro area! I have certain dishes that I always order at Thai restaurants and this is the only time that the flavors and quality have exceeded expectations! The Tom Kha soup was perfect, creamy with good lime flavors. The Phanaeng curry was delicious and beautifully presented. Any restaurant that can do these two dishes right will get my service. We spoke with the front of house manager while we were dining and she was very attentive, making sure every thing was just right for us. The decor is perfect and reminds me of the cafes and small restaurants I encountered in Phuket. They just opened up and are still making small improvements here and there to the space and menu, but make sure to stop in. Cant wait to try the other menu items!

This is an excellent quiet intimate place to enjoy a nice Thai meal. The menu is the perfect size and straight forward, offering you a selection of appetizers and curry. The beef mixed vegetable was pretty good and so was the Pad Prew Wann! We ordered it with at the hottest spice level and it was hot, a go to place if you like spicy food. The wonton soup was excellent and paired perfectly with the shrimp rolls. Butterfly Lemonade was different and a recommended try, the Thai Iced Tea was almost like a milkshake! The only negative is that we weren’t offered the promotion of a free Thai tea when paying for an order over $25 with cash. Maybe next time!

Food was amazing. Best Thai in the area. Rice was in the shape of a heart ❤️ And the curry was amazing. They have all kinds of fried rice( we got pineapple with chicken) and it was truly out of this world. Will be returning.again..and again.

My friend and I stopped here on our way home and had a great time! The inside is cozy and very well decorated, the service was great and the food and drink options were exceptional. We both got butterfly drinks, me the butterfly milk tea and her the butterfly lemonade. I wanted to order another to bring back with me! We also got appetizers, crab Rangoon and scallion pancakes which were definitely made their own delicious spin. For entrées I had the Pad See Ew which I really like and she had the Singapore Noodles which had great texture. All in all would eat again if I'm ever in Royal Oak, and would definitely recommend to anybody in the area!

Now I know why some reviewers said they drove hours to eat here. As authentic as you can get, without international travel! Delicious Thai tea, chicken pad Thai, won ton soup, and the coconut rice pudding was a extra treat! Great atmosphere and service.

A very nice quaint restaurant in Royal Oak, MI. Authentic Thai food with a good menu to boot. Some of the best Thai food I have eaten and Thai food is my favorite choice in restaurant selection. We are from Charlotte, NC and we're visiting our granddaughter who lives in Royal Oak. When we come back to visit, we will definitely go back to this restaurant. A Royal Oak gem.

Great takeout experience! Excellent papaya and mango/avocado salads, drunken and pad Thai noodles, green curry with duck, as well as Tom kha and Tom yam soups. Satay and especially peanut sauce could be better but all together it’s definitely the best spot in the area! We’ll do another takeaway hopefully soon!

Ordered for the first time tonight at the Royal Oak location. Food at the Okemos restaurant had always been good. Had chicken pad thai tonight with steamed dumplings. Both were delicious - flavors are wonderful. I definitely recommend!! Enough pad thai for two people - good portions!

I had the crab fried rice, and holy cow is it phenomenal. I was a little skeptical as to how well they would incorporate the crab, other restaurants have just thrown chunks in there. They shredded it and dispersed it perfectly into the rice, 10/10 recommend. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Just tried the food through DoorDash for the first time. I got the drunken noodles and fresh rolls. I was impressed that they looked at the notes and made it vegan and gluten free. The noodles could have used a little more sauce but everything was super fresh and delicious.

I ordered a dish with no egg - there was egg. I asked for shrimp and although I got shrimp, the tails were still on, which I found to be odd. I asked for medium spice and my mouth was on fire. I do think that the restaurant has been nicely renovated and although the previous place here was slipping at the very end, I am not impressed with the cuisine just yet. I may give it one more shot at a later date.

Delicious! After having lackluster Thai food from other places in the area, our takeout from Thai Princess completely surpassed our expectations. We ordered Tom Yum soup, pad cashew, pad see eew, peanut curry, and papaya salad. All the dishes were super tasty with reasonable portion sizes and chock full of fresh veggies. We can’t wait to get takeout from Thai Princess again, and eventually dine in the restaurant.

This place is a hidden gem. I’ve been here twice now and it’s some of the best Thai food I’ve had in Michigan. So far, I’ve had the Thai fried rice, pad Thai, and yellow curry and it all was so delicious. Would highly recommend you trying it out. Very great for the price and cute set up inside.
