Chells Park

Park

👍👍 Fantastic new park. Perfect for my 3 year old and older kids too. Trampoline, swings, sea saw, roundabout, climbing frame, slide. Lots to do, right next to a large field so perfect for picnics too. Only issue is no toilets. People often mention park, good,

One of my favourite parks near Aston and the butcher. New park being built near the new houses is coming along.

Chells Park has been my training place through lock down. I also give blood at the pavillion.

Very wonky car park, used on driving tests. There's a brand new playground about to open here which looks good

Ok for over 3yr olds but my 1 yr old struggled. At least the mound of mud has now gone.

This playground/park is great for walking the kids and playing with the dogs.... Or the other way round. Large playing field and childrens park means you have plenty of space to do you own thing and not be disturbed by other people.

Only pulled into the car park to make a phone call but the park looks nice enough.

Lovely little park. Some good toys in the park for the kids and a decent size park for the older kids

New park is good, except the mounds of dirt still left inside the park from construction.

Nice wide open playing area. Very good to take children to play onnthe apparatus. Down side dog owners cpuld do better to clear up after their pets.

Great space for the younger ones to let off steam with a playground. Reasonably safe to allow you to exercise your dog off lead. Sadly lacking toilet facilities!

Cells park is great for dog walkers. At lunchtimes on mist days a group of dog owners meet up and the dogs play together. Usually around 12:30 for an hour or so. Best not to let your dog run up unannounced as they can get mobbed by all the others. If you want your dog to have a good run while you have a chat with other people. Then this is a good idea. There can be upto 14 or 15 dogs running around and playing. Although this us a casual meeting we all ensure our dogs mess is cleared up and put in the bin. If you need a poo bag someone always has a spare.

Well, i tried to get in where they are building the new houses, there used to be a lovely public concrete pathway to access the park from ferrier road. I have lived here for 50 years and have always gone in this way but since building started you have to find another way in. You try with a pram and a 3 year old....its a nightmare. Something should be done about the access... Outrageous. Nice park if you can get in without getting covered in mud..

👍👍 August 2023. Lovely playground equipment. Both our little ones had a great time this afternoon. Zip wire needs some attention.

👍 Nice to spend a few minutes on the bench to soak in some much needed sunshine. In the summer time there are more birds around to observe.
