In all my years in retail, I never worked with a much friendly well polite team I have the pleasure to call ”my friend” always with a positive attitude and a friendly atmosphere that many would dream of having in the retail business. Especially those who put themselves in the driving seat when things got out of hand, in the busiest of times. However, I'm afraid to say not everyone is classified as friendly, nor positive when running a toy store, especially handling people with disabilities, as I myself have mild autism and have experienced this for months. They need to have a hard understanding of employees with disabilities, working side by side and making it an enjoyable place to work, not discriminate them with a reason that doesn't help them or themselves and let them get bullied by a (so-called) software manager twenty-four seven. I loved my job, best job In the world, but what goes on behind scenes, is hell for anyone with a disability

If I could rate lower I would!! Can not believe the experience I had visiting this store! The staff were very unprofessional for a start. We brought a few stuff that came to £57.99 so we paid £50 with voucher and the rest in cash, as we were walking out I realised on the receipt they had over charged on one item by £4. We went back into the store and they said they would honour the money back but only by gift card!! Even though it was their fault and we just gave them the cash! So they expected us to spend £4 when it was their mistake! The manager agreed it was wrong but said she couldn’t do anything! It seems like none of the staff knew what they were doing as kept changing their minds and saying different things! I wouldn’t be buying anything there again!!!

I visited this store with my dad on Thursday. I was looking to buy a video game and I wanted some advice as my dad didn’t exactly know what he was talking about. We asked William at the desk and he was very helpful. He gave his advice and made sure my dad bought the right games. We will be coming back! 😄

I visited on Friday 26tg August 2022. I was after a car seat for my 6 year old and was assisted by 2 members of staff who were extremely friendly, helpful and truly went above and beyond, including inshore demonstration and in car demonstration. I believe the ladies name was Evelyn? But can't remember the guys name. Both are an asset to the store and really know their stuff when it comes to car seats and safety. Thank you

I've been served by Cam today, what an amazing person. Helped me with my buggy and went beyond just working there. He definitely is the person that will make sure all customers are happy. What an example of a wonderful person. Shop itself very clean, very friendly staff, and great range of toys, bikes and everything you need for nursery

Absolutely shocking a place I will not be shopping again.Asked for a replacement on a doll I had purchased 10 minutes earlier which the sales assistant huffed and puffed as he had to get someone else to do this when this young girl came down she looked like she was in a bad mood her body language and tone of voice said it all and she was very rude to myself and my daughter which was very out of order so I then made a complaint to the duty manager who really didn’t seem to care and said I suppose I could speak to her which I find very difficult to take as if you treat all your customers like that I am surprised you will have anyone willing to shop here.This is really unacceptable!!!

As someone who has donated hundreds of hours of his time to the vaccination programme this years I was disgusted by the complete indifference of the customers of the store in Stevenage to the regulations about mask wearing, repeated in large signs at the entrance. Even worse was the indifference of the store staff I attempted to involve in the issue. I'd recommend everyone to spend their money elsewhere, as we did.

I'll remove this rating when they learn to pick up the phone. Dreadful. Called 8 times today and just rings and rings. I appreciate you are busy but don't have a phone number if you don't use it.

Really good experience recently. Always been our local toy shop and recently I had an issue with a bike bought in another of their locations. They kindly sorted the issue without fuss, exchanged the item and made sure I was happy with the solution before cracking on. Never had issues with the store being crowded, always stocked well, decent offers. Can't complain, even if the kids bleed my bank dry!

My wife tried to return an item today, we only bought it yesterday!! Given the reason for return, staff (including management) seemed inexperienced and very unprofessional at handling the matter. Also the queues are way too long and too few tills open. Many items are on shelves without price labels. After today's experience, over just a single return, not even an expensive item, I am contemplating returning ALL the other items I just bought yesterday, and certainly aim to shop elsewhere in future.

Would just like to say a huge thank you to the manager Ross for his assistance yesterday. Our pram we’d bought in October last year was either faulty or had broken, and he very kindly assisted us in exchanging it for a new one. Couldn’t ask for a better service, very grateful, thank you!

Really disappointing service Ordered a Christmas present Saturday to find that by today when I had planned to collect it has been cancelled. Then told it will take a week to refund so I can’t now re buy before Christmas Why only hold for 2 days when items have been paid for!? Extremely poor service

The choice was good across there baby range,(they didn't have the top range of buggies but that was fine with me) also well priced. We were helped by Cam who couldn't be more helpful and knowledgeable. He didn't rush and helped us with all our questions. I Highly recommed coming here for first time parents.

Love this store come here all the time with my boy for pokemon cards. One thing I will say is the till system is very strange they have tills by the doors but never use them they only use the ones on the far end where the stocked shelves are... also the queue for this is always huge especially at weekend.

Always good selection on yu gi oh & pokemon cards,which makes my sons day. I'd appreciate a bit of organising on the funko pops. When trying to find what I'd like,seeing Mickley mouse next to vegeta does maje it hard to find groups,especially when they arnt priced on the boxs but shelf sections (which they arnt in!)

Really disappointed with the service recieved in the store. When asking for help staff just ignore you. The short female manager was just rude as I was disturbing her gossiping season.

Rude Manager. Wouldn't help with a return. Had to wait for him to finish his cigarette before he would come and sort the issue. Will not shop here again.
