My wife and I had the opportunity to go on the Dolphin/Snorkel tour with the amazing , Capt. Jim. We live in Florida and have been to the keys but never had the opportunity to go on any excursions. While out . This time we said let’s do it . We’re thankful that our first dolphin tour was sold out . So we got this option to go on a more intimate tour w 6 people total . The other one was 12 person. We went on the 5-8pm tour . You could bring drinks and snacks with you on the 22ft boat. Capt Jim also provided snacks and drinks too , for those who don’t drink . The first half of the tour we went out and searched for the dolphins, in what was referred to as their “playground” and let me tell you , we had an amazing experience seeing a ton of dolphins in the process! They swam by the boat , we saw them feeding and coming up for air so many times. Just breathtaking . Next we got to go out to the sandbar and swam a bit and snorkel . Nice warm water and it was legit waist deep. We did get a chance to see some little jelly fish too (no stinging though). Lastly we got to see a beautiful sunset . It was a wonderful experience that we would not hesitate to do again . Captan Jim was a wonderful host that was extremely personable and easy to talk to. He made you feel like he was an old friend you came down to visit. We’d definitely come back again .

Jeff is a very nice person! Great boat trip out on the water and lots of option of the free beverage. We try to see some dolphins but they hard to find in the morning, so we went snorkeling. On the way back we able to spot 2 dolphins. Totally worth the trip

Captain Nikki ROCKED! She was fantastic. I would highly recommend this company. Made us wait another day due to weather, but it was for our own safety. KW weather doesn't last long, so be patient.

We had so much fun on our private boat with Jim as our tour guide. The whole day was perfect. Jim brought us out to a spot where other boats congregate. My husband and daughter explored while my son and I sat on a table Jim set up for us in the ocean. Jim even brought us a cold bottle of white wine to enjoy at our ocean table. So fun! We found an area with a hammock and a swing and we took so many fun photos along with family photos. These memories will last forever. The owner of the boat went above and beyond by providing not only champagne, wine, and beer but mini sandwich wraps, charcuterie, and even some homemade desserts for us all. The boat was sleek and smooth and the scenery was unbeatable. Highly recommend Dolphin Safari charters. We will be booking again the next time we visit for sure. Best thing to do in Key West!

Captain Jim Noss was wonderful. He was accommodating and friendly, giving us the history and pointing out the landmarks as we ventured out. As you can imagine, dolphin playgrounds are unpredictable but Jim was in constant contact with other boats until we hit the jackpot. Dolphins everywhere, playing around, showing off for us. Snorkeling/swimming was secondary for us. Visibility was good, saw small fish, a conch, and a spiny lobster plus tons of sandy coral. The boat trip was excellent. There were 5 of us (two families) on a 22 footer.

Captain James made the experience so valuable and memorable. We went to a sandbar and did the harbor tour. He was extremely knowledgeable of the landmarks & waters. He truly tuned into us as people and made sure we were comfortable and happy at all times. He even had lunch readily available, which we also appreciated. It was an honor to take this opportunity with James. It was the highlight of my Key West trip!

A little disappointed by the experience. We didn't see any dolphins (which can happen of course), we weren't prepared for snorkeling (no fins, nothing to see in the water,...). We spent 3 hours on the boat for nothing and very little communication from the captain. Some companies reimburse part of the costs when the experience is not up to par, which was not the case. Prices are also expensive compared to other companies.

It was unforgettable trip with captain Nikki, a great captain. She provided free snacks, and free drinks. You should definitely try it out! (BTW be careful of shallows while your swimming)

Well worth the money for a family of six. Got to go where we wanted to including snorkeling, sand bars, and sunsets with dolphins! Amazing day thank you for the memories!

We did the Vitamin Sea tour and it was the highlight of our action packed, seven day stay in Key West. The privacy and intimacy was unmatched. Our captain was amazing! He took us to a reef where nobody else was around and the memories we made there will last a lifetime. After that we went to a sandbar and played for a while. We ended it with dinner on the boat watching the sun disappear into the horizon. It was truly a one of a kind experience. I considered renting a boat to take out for the day and I’m so glad I didn’t because I never would’ve been able to find the places our captain took us. Worth every single penny and a 10 star review! So if you’re thinking about a private charter please do yourself a favor and act on it, especially with this company!

We had Captain Jeff, the trip was perfect we arrived at the dock the Captain was ready another couple were there. The Captain explained the boat rules, and we left, we went out to the dolphins playground and saw more dolphins than ever before Captain explained about the different kinds of Dolphins about the babies. Then we went to a shoal where. We could snorkel Jeff showed how to clear our masks. It was great, we got to see a beautiful sunset. Captain Jeff explained all didn’t kinds of things we had a great time and can’t thank you enough.

We had an excellent time today. The captain was awesome. Had lots of great info to share. And we loved the smaller more intimate boat. 6 people instead of 30 on some of the bigger charters. We would do this again for sure and it was worth every penny!

We stayed at the Perry Hotel for 4 days last week and the Dolphin Safari was by far the highlight of the trip. Our captain was great - she was a lot of fun, plus she brought along her dog! Having the dog there was really cool and made our son feel more comfortable on the boat. Highly recommend this outfit - nice people, and we saw a whole bunch of dolphins!

Gary was a great captain. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the island and area. Had a wonderful day with him. I would recommend using him if you are in Key West. The small number on his boat allows close access and greater flexibility when it comes to dolphin watching. Must do for sure.

Our Capt Gary was AMAZING! highly recommend! I supried my husband for our wedding anniversary road trip from Daytona to key west and purchase a private charter with dolphins safari. My Capt Gary was AMAZING to say the least! Super fun and chill guy! Saw dolphins, when snorkeling, aqua tour and everything! My dog peanut chilled with Capt Gary while we went snorkeling and even became friends 🤣. Super fun experience, we are already planning a trip with all fam and do the tour again! We had soft drinks and snacks during the trip and could bring our own alcohol drinks as well and store it in his cooler. We had an amazing time and super cool experience. Thank you Gary for your time and amazing trip! I give it a 10/10 if there was one!

Captain Tim was incredible! We were supposed to set off yesterday morning but the weather was looking a little dismal, so we were rescheduled without a problem to this afternoon. We had the most perfect day out on the water. We saw dolphins within the first ten minutes of the tour. Captain Tim was super patient and helpful with my sister since it was her first time snorkeling and she was nervous. He brought us into the perfect spot to snorkel before bigger groups got there and scared fish away, while we were in the water he was directing us where to go, and knew what fish we saw as we were describing them. Very knowledgeable about this beautiful island and the wildlife surrounding it. This was an incredible tour definitely worth the price and I’m looking forward to going out on the water again when I’m back in the keys next year.
