Beautiful park around the Museum, where you can see three works of art: The Belt Buckles by the sculptor Johan Peter Molin (stayed in 1867), Youth with Turtle by John Börjeson (stayed in 1884) and Foster Brothers by Teodor Lundberg (stayed in 1891). Quite a spectacle.

Nice little park behind the National Museum. There are benches, and is a bit secluded and quieter.

Museiparken is a park on Blasieholmen in Stockholm. The park is located north of the National Museum building and received its current name in 1925. The museum park was created on partially filled land and in connection with the completion of the National Museum. Until the 1850s, there was a channel here that separated Blasieholmen from its easternmost part called Kyrkholmen. The construction manager for the National Museum building, the fortification engineer Johan af Kleen, filled in the canal without permission, whereupon the land owner, the City of Stockholm, argued for a long time about how the newly acquired land could be used. It was only in the middle of the 1860s, when the National Museum was almost finished, that it was agreed to build the Museum Park. There are three works of art displayed in the park: The Belt Buckles by the sculptor Johan Peter Molin (remained in 1867), Youth with Turtle by John Börjeson (remained in 1884) and Foster Brothers by Teodor Lundberg (remained in 1891).
