(Translated by Google) Living in a country with four seasons is a happiness, even if you occasionally say ugly words when you inevitably slip on any ice or snowflake every year. Very famous place in Stockholm always crowded in any season. Best season to visit during cherry blossom in April-may. Also it has ice skating ring during winter. Fountains during summer and plenty of flowers during summer too. It's always feel good to be there in any season. There are plenty of places to have lunch, dinner and some drinks after office or just like that. If you want to have best time and photos always go in too early morning hours to be alone and have nice pics. Best to get drinks is Harry B James and food is to have at TGIF.

A beautiful small park in center Stockholm. I visited it when it was snowing and it looked beautiful. There was an ice skating rink and a fantastic Christmas tree. Have a walk there, really great.

Beautiful little park in middle of the city. It’s another great place to take a walk, enjoy a coffee have a picnic or just explore. We jogged a few laps around to get some exercise and saw all sorts of people having lunch and enjoying the day. Very nice area :)

Huge & beautiful park to spend ½ day in it, although it can get a bit too cold to stay out in the open for long during winter. There are multiple trams and buses that cut through the main attractions and museums, so for those who wish to cut down the transit time between places, that will come in handy.

A very nice square to visit during the New Year and Christmas holidays. It is beautifully decorated with New Year's decorations, and in the middle of the square there is an ice rink where you can enjoy skating. You can rent ice skates right next to the rink, and the price is about 8 euros for adults, or about 4 euros for children for an hour of skating. Next to the skating rink is a stand with hot drinks, where you can enjoy hot chocolate, tea or coffee.

A beautiful park in central Stockholm with a great paths to walk around. There are some water features and impressive statues. There are also many cafes and restaurants close by to enjoy a drink or eat. A metro stop (Kungsträdgården - Blue line) and some bus stations are very close which makes it easy to access from any location in the city. I was there last week for Halloween Parade, the autumn landscapes are as breathtaking as spring when park is full of cherry blossoms. Enjoy it! 😊

Its even great to feed those birds and enjoy the evening. Really loved the place for my first visit. Also you can enjoy cherry blossom during spring season. There was the street food festival when I was in Stockholm. I was so excited to taste some of the food that was sold during the event. The garden was packed with people from everywhere. The queues were insanely long 😂 but we survived. I loved the Jamaican goat dish. But I had to stand kn the queue for 2 hours. No joke! 🥲 But it was worth it. And there were so many people waiting to eat even 1 hour after I had gotten my dish, the queue was not ending. Good stuff 💝.

You can say it's the park in the heart of Stockholm. It's a good place to play outdoor board games like chess during the summer and during the winter the skating rink opens. In spring there's the cherry blossoms which attract tourists and locals alike and is one of the most looked forward to things of the year.

Nice vibrant place located at city center. Lots of food and drinks option. Major cultural assemblies happens here. During summer you can visit this place for cherry blossoms. Nut be aware of portable washrooms, dont swipe your card, it deducts more than what is says. Happened with me once!

You must visit 1 and 2nd week of May of the year to see Cherry blossoms 🌸. It is one of the beautiful things around the Stockholm you will find during Spring. Must visit in place, but time is also important.

Really nice place to visit. Beautiful surroundings- fountain, sakura trees, playground with artificial grass for children to play. There is an ice cream stand nearby - control yourself and see if you can eat two scoops, as they are rather big

Peaceful park in the centre of Stockholm. Easy to wander through with a nice looking cafè which seems fair priced. I didn’t find it overly busy so was relaxing during our walk through.

The place is amazing. There are always a lot of events such as the Christmas lights on party, and with the stage they have concerts etc. I have always seen a lot of people gathering there and the place is really for families. You definitely have to visit it!

Great place. It is awesome throughout the year for its concerts and lively events. You will see a lot of tourists and if you are a chess lover you can play and enjoy for free. It is awesome in spring when cherry blossoms.

Very lovely place to watch the people ice-skating. You can have a seat or stand next to the ice. Of course you can also participate. It's for free if you have your own skates, but can also rent some.

Sehenswerte U-Bahnstation!

  • 5/5 Sakina B. 1 year ago on Google
Really nice vibe! Especially with the cherry blossoms. Also during Christmas it looks real nice with the lights. Everyone is consumed with taking pictures, I'd suggest to spend more time in taking in the beauty of it. If you're bored you can also play a quick game of chess with you're friends there on the big chess board ;)

The most famous garden in Stockholm and even in Sweden. You can't visit Stockholm without passing by this beautiful place. This place is always crowded, but it's a nice city park to walk in. It is filled with beautiful cherry blossoms during May of every year. Lovely place in all seasons.

One of the highlights for me was the stunning cherry blossom trees that bloom in the spring. The annual cherry blossom festival is a sight to behold and draws visitors from all around to witness the breathtaking spectacle. Throughout the year, the park hosts various events and activities, ranging from cultural festivals to outdoor concerts, adding to its vibrant and lively atmosphere. It's a great place to experience the local culture and connect with the community.

My Daughter's wish when we were planning our trip to Stockholm was to skate on an open area in the city, we weren't disappointed! Only around $8 Aud to hire your skates ( note, bring shin high thick socks ) , it's just near the bridge to cross into old Stockholm it's a great location to tick the "skate in a town square" off your list and the family will love and always remember the experience 😀

The most magical place to visit whilst in Stockholm. We didn't participate in the ice skating, but it looked very professionally run and safe. If you get the opportunity to visit at Christmas during the snowy period, do so.

A very beautiful garden in the middle of busy city. There are water bodies which add to its charm. There are many bars and restaurants nearby where one can sit for hours enjoying this nice oasis.

A lovely square, truly nice to walk or take a pic in, even with a stage for people to perform on. Quite busy though, and you’ll find tens of tourists or non-tourists taking a selfie under the cherry blossoms when it’s the season. It’s so full it’s almost funny then.

I had the chance to visit Kungstradgarden or Kings Garden in English when wondering around Stockholm for a few days in early May. Kings Garden is a beautiful spot in central Stockholm and is open year round. When I was there in early May the cherry blossom trees were still in bloom and the fountains were going as well as the water sparkling. This park is a popular place for people to hangout or meet with its cafes and restaurants around the park. It was a very relaxing spot around the fountains and cherry blossom trees that I could have spent more time here if I had it. I would come back here again if in Stockholm.

  • 5/5 Veiko H. 11 months ago on Google
Fantastic place to spend time with the sunny warm weather. You are lucky if you can catch the springtime when all the cherry-trees are blossoming. Lots of options to eat and drink and to relax. Fountains, lots of people. If you visit stockholm you should go there. Would recommend.

There are also many cafes and restaurants close by to enjoy a drink or bite to eat. There is a metro stop across the street which makes it easy to access from any location in the city. Fun spot to spend time walking or resting and enjoying the views.

Kungsträdgården is a park in central Stockholm, Sweden. It is colloquially known as Kungsan. The park's central location and its outdoor cafés makes it one of the most popular hangouts and meeting places in Stockholm. It also hosts open-air concerts and events in summer, while offering an ice rink during winters

Kungsträdgården (the King’s Garden) is a mandatory stop in Stockholm during any season. Be it winter for ice-skating, spring to enjoy the cherry blossoms, summer to put your feet in a cool fountain or autumn to enjoy the hues of brown and orange on the trees.
