Destined for Greatness! Well I DID have ramen for lunch so decided to explore the menu through the smaller dishes. Okonomiyaki and KFC with a side of kimchi cubes. Linger ficken’ good (or something)! But … okonomiyaki is more american pancake than the cabbage heavy Osaka-version i have come to love. Also kimchi cubes is daikon with “kimchi sauce” more than anything else. The KFC was fantastic but I kept wondering if it wasn’t supposed to come with a side of some sort of Goshujang-sauce? Still curious so … went for the mixed fried dumplings. This time, unassuming but piping hot and packed with amazing flavours. Staff apologized for the slow kitchen, but luckily they were attentive of my “lubrication” needs. The beer board was impressive to say the least. Currently standing at 8 taps, but soon to be expanded to 10 and with Hidden Springs up there, what is there not to love! Hidden Springs ffs! So final verdict is that it is early days, but they are definitely on to something. Once the kinks are sorted out this place is going to be a go-to-destination.

I got myself a shoyu ramen and substitute the pork chasu with chicken karaage. The soup was good, not overpowered like some other ramen place in Stockholm. Guest Izakaya taste authentic, not like another swedish fushion ramen in Stockholm. The karaage was good. I also got kimchi cube. My friend got miso ramen and she enjoy it. We arrived at 17 and it was quite, I can imagine that it will be busy during evening and lunch. Location is easy to find, but no parking space. Price can be quite high considering the amount of topping, 165 sek for ramen with karaage and menma toping. Some other ramen place can be 30 sek less with more or similar topping. Kimchi on a tiny bowl for 35 sek also quite pricey. I want to come back again and try other dishes that sounds good.

Update: We returned recently and the food and service has gone extremely downhill. This place is not what it used to be. Our first time at Guest was one filled with pleasure! The extensive beer, wine, and sake menu have lots of offerings so there is something for everyone! We started off with the Korean fried chicken which was crispy, juicy, and flavorful. We also had the mix fried dumplings and salmon sashimi which was just enough to leave us wanting more. The miso pork Ramen was the main star and had a good flavor and was also very filling! Tables around us were slurping their food to echo what we had been thinking in our own minds. We will definitely be back to Guest for the warm atmosphere, great food and drinks, as well as the friendly and kind service. Definitely check this place out!

A wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and excellent ramen! Highly recommended not only for its affordable cost but also for its outstanding quality. I will definitely be back!

Really amazing japanese small restaurant! A few but golden choices to pick from! The octopus-filled tokayaki was so tasty, and also their rame was over the top! The service was really kind and fast, and contemporary music in japanese filled beautifully the atmosphere. Would recommend it to anyone who visits Stockholm and wants to have a traditional japanese dining experience!🍛🍜🥟

There are some vegan options. Recommend the miso veg soup, veg dumplings and tempura. Lovely staff, cozy place really good beer. Just wish the side portions were bigger. The dumplings were miniature and just 4 😅

The spicy miso soup I tried had a disappointing flavor, lacking the expected spice and distinct miso taste. However, the service was good, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was enjoyable. It was a mixed experience, with room for improvement in the soup, but the service and atmosphere made up for it.

We had spicy miso ramen, the broth is okay (could be richer) but the noodle has the right consistency as well as the tamago and cashiu. The side dishes are great, we tried cauliflower, takoyaki, and karaage. Each of them is done well and taste good. Service is good, and the place altho is a tad small (reservation recommended), it has nice ambiance.

KFC donburi with rice Korean style fried chicken is good, it is the taste I expected, the only thing is that the side vegetables are not good from my opinion.

Service was terrible. The waiter did not provide any check backs to make sure the food was alright and was unapproachable most of the time. I was charged an extra 40kr because the dish I had didn't specify it came with a sauce dressing and I asked for it to be remade, to which most of the staff were angry at me. The rice tasted like it hadn't been cooked properly or had been microwaved too much. The meat was quite tasty though at the end of the day so I guess if you go for anything, then that's it. Overall terrible service and food is below average.
