Disappointing service. Recently visited and ordered the selection of tapas for 2 (see photo). We ordered around 7:15-7:30 and around 8pm I went to the bar to ask for an update as people who came in after us were halfway done their meals. They said they would check. Went back to ask again and was told it was just coming. Clearly it had been forgotten and was just put in to the kitchen. We were offered a glass of wine due to this situation. I thought it was a simple mistake but a group near us had a similar situation but where half their food was brought out but not the rest so things got cold while they waited resulting a loud argument with the chef. Food was good I think but hard to enjoy it in the circumstances.

Why haven't we been here before!? So good and walking distance from home @warungstockholm . Really interesting Indonesian food. The nasi goreng was so rich of flavour and the best one I have ever tasted! We also tried the gado gado with tempeh and tofu in peanut butter sauce. Both dishes were amazing 😍 they were on the edge of too spicy for me but they managed to balance on the right side. Luckily I had a soothing coconut and mango drink to enjoy it with. Go here if you want to try well cooked Indonesian food!

Well this was nice. We asked them to serve us what they thought we would like and that became perfect. Especially the duck was great. And the dear. And the fish. And the nasi goreng. And the cocktails Sumatra sour and the Negroni

Delicious food, very friendly and helpful service, beautiful atmosphere. We shared five tapas dishes with 2 people and it was more than enough. Both starters were amazing and I really loved the duck. In general everything was very delicious and high quality.

This was my first time trying an Indonesian restaurant and I loved the food ❤️, specially the slow cooked deer meat! I highly recommend it 👌🏻. The place is very cozy and prices are reasonable for fine dinning. The small portions dishes are not so small so I recommend you start with one or two small dishes then order more if you are still hungry.

Very nice restaurang with tables on the central street. The dishes had amazing taste and they were not very spice if you didn't take the sause. Fresh ingredients and nice combinations. You might not get the traditional Indonesian food but I think that you will still be satisfied. A disadvantage tho is that it is a bit expensive and has small portions so you will need to spend a lot in order to get full.

Was looking for an authentic Indonesian food but disappointed to only to find some upscaled asian-western fusion dishes. If you’re looking for the real traditional dish, you should visit Sayur in Gothenburg

We got one of their set menus for 2. There were 3 set menus when we went— meat, seafood, and veggie focused options. But of course you can order a la carte as well. The food was well presented, the taste and the eating experience was fine. The service was fine, though to be fair one of our servers was being trained still. In general seems like a nice restaurant, nothing particularly bad to say about it. But also there’s nothing making me feel like I need to go back there.

Underrated place with amazing food and presentation. Great concept with shared dish menus based on food preference (vegan, meat, etc). Loved the cocktail menu with Indonesian ingredients as well!

One of the best vegan meals I've had, tastes were incredible and staff were so attentive. Wine menu and cocktails were very well thought through. Exceeded my expectations on a whole! Fantastic spot for evening summer sun outside. My new favourite place to eat in Stockholm! Thanks guys!!

Great vegan 5-course, perfect for a date. Great flavours on 5 plates, ideal for 2 persons. For only 500-ish SEK. We were very impressed with the plating, taste and wholefood dishes. The wooden bench outside is great for people spotting over a glass Riesling. Recommend!

Stepping into the restaurant an unpleasant smell hit us reminding of a dirty public swimming place trying to cover up the smell with cleaning products. We noticed a person sitting with a dog on a regular customer seat at table height. Signs should clearly say that dogs are allowed to sit with people at the dining table, which is a very extreme form of dog-friendliness at the expense of hygiene and potential allergies. I like dogs, but not sitting at a restaurant table licking and sniffing the seats/table/cutlery/dishes used for other guests. Further, we ordered the full recommended menus. None of us were even halfway full after completing the full menu for 2 persons and we ended up eating a burger at a place nearby afterwards. One of the dishes was literally a small slice of thin fish that was maybe 5x5cm to be shared by 2 people. It didnt taste fresh and was full of bones. The small and expensive amount of food that was served was way below mediocre. One of my worst restaurant visits in recent times.

Such delicious food and cocktails with really unique flavors. It’s been a while since I ate something that made me say wow. Each dish has many tasty little elements, so easier to share as two people than as three of you want to try everything on the plate.

Warung serves a beautiful Indonesian menu with interesting flavor combinations and textures. Friendly staff, lovely setting and tasty food in a really down town, cool area in Södermalm, Stockholm.

Ok food and good service . Its a bit to expencive for a quick eat out when the fridge is emty, but not good enough for fine dineing on valentines day. So best is to bring your friends and have a nice evening with wine, "tapas like food" and frindly service and get that feeling of more than a local pub but not the stiffness of restarunt trying to much! .

Great indonesian tapas but most importantly, incredible service. Friendly and accommodating, our waiter even took our son to see the kitchen when he was getting bored and gave him some ice cream! We would definitely go back

I had the pleasure of dining at Warung and I must say it was an exceptional experience! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and authentic Indonesian cuisine. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. The atmosphere was cozy and amplified the overall dining experience. I left with a happy stomach and a smile on my face. I would definitely recommend Warung to anyone who is looking for a one of a kind Indonesian culinary experience. Thank you Warung for a wonderful dinner!

Warung is a fusion Indonesian restaurant with Balinese feeling. I ate dinner together with my colleagues two days ago. I personally think Warung is very creative to combine Indonesian authentic food with Swedish tasty food. For example the Rendang Rusa, originally in Indonesia, people are using beef. Warung makes innovation by using deer meat while still keeping the authentic taste of the herbs of rendang. For the restaurant interior and details, Warung has also done good job to create Balinese feeling and to give the touch of Swedish simplicity and coziness. As someone who comes from Indonesia, I am very proud that Warung can introduce Indonesian food in Sweden. I definitely recommend to try Warung. Well done! (Photo credit: my colleague VHT).
