Ok but extremely sweet food. Also, it really was obvious that it wasn’t fresh but prepared way in advance and just reheated. *Very* rude staff which is why they get 1 instead of 2-3 stars.

The guys who work here were very cranky and not very service oriented. They didn’t bring us water and they were unfriendly when we asked for some…the restaurant was empty so not sure what was going on but I will go to Shanti on Rörstrandsgatan which has not failed me yet.

Went there for lunch. I had good options and a well flavoured new dish. I enjoyed the experience. Would surely visit again!

Amazing food and ambience .. !!! I was taken there by my friends from Bangladesh... They vouch for the taste and authenticity of the dishes.... It is a must try to experience the rich food and taste of Bengal!!! It is highly recommended to get a reservation as the place is full almost every time !!!

Really delicious food. We had the lamb biryani and the lamb khichury and both were fantastic. Generous portions and reasonably priced. Friendly staff on our last visit.

Actually a horrific experience. Served store-bought samosas (still frozen when presented). Then brought a dish we didn’t order and refused to take it back/off the bill.

The pumpkin chicken tikka masala dish is VERY delicious! The garlic naan is excellent and the best part is free mango lassi! Absolutely in love with this restaurant!

I come here often for lunch with friends and family. The twin brothers provide excellent service and the food is delicious. It’s the perfect spot for a meal right on nytorget, highly recommend!

Had lunch there today and can quite recommend for taste,atmosphere, price and service. 5 star for their nan-bread.They offered a complimentary mango smoothie on arrival, very nice touch. Will dine there again

It’s lovely to see a restaurant advertised as Bengali and not Indian for once and serving Bengali classics like halim and Fiyazi. The decor was very modern and payed homage to Bengali culture. I was so happy to come across this place. The food tasted as amazing as it look and the portion was perfect.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem and will be visiting more often! The food is incredibly flavorful and tasty. Would highly recommend the lamb kebab, mango lassi, and kumro paneer. Great vibes and service too!

Lam grill was really testy and The santi red wine is really that i deserve from the service man, friendly & gentle,, thanks to chef and gossip for everything 💞🤩

The food is super good with and the ambient cozy. I came with my friend and we were super satisfied. I definitely recommend to have a mango lassi with your food and a garlic Nan bread 😋 The staff is also very friendly. I am def coming back!

I love the Shanti group and the Gossip restos with the street food. Favourites are the Paratha rolls and the mixed veggie pakoras. Prices are reasonable and portions on the bigger side. Love all the locations.

Best Bengali in Stockholm! We had the pleasure of dining at Shanti Gossip today for lunch. I tried the Bengali Lamb Meatballs and the Lamb Biryani along with Garlic Naan, all were absolutely perfect. Taste, spice, amounts, all delicious and good for those who like and don't like spice. The right amount of attention - our server Shaun was kind, checked in often but not too often. We were given complimentary mango Lassi and also tried the Chai, both were delicious in every way. I highly recommend and cannot wait to come back and try more dishes!! They have plenty of outside seating, and it is accessible for those in a wheelchair. .

Great food. The tandoori chicken was absolutely delicious and our waiter, Saha, was really nice and attentive. We will definitely come back!

Had the MOST DELICIOUS lunch of the 3 veg thali with rice, great portion, great price and super service. Definitely returning :))) it's a must!!

Below average food, rude staff (not all of them), and just in general negative vibes. Had the card-reader slammed on my table while I was still eating… and then mopped 🧹 over my shoe, during normal hours - not anywhere near closing time. Won’t be coming back to any of the Shanti restaurants.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Sehr gut gekocht - das Gemüse war noch leicht bissig und nicht verkocht. Reichhaltige Auswahl für Vegetarier. Innen ist es recht klein, eng und düster.

Authentic Bangladeshi restaurant. Lamb biriani was very tasty (very spicy, too!). Perfectly social distanced with screens between tables installed. Nice authentic vibe. I recommend!

5 stars for the great taste of Kofta Veggie Curry. Pretty good quantity for 1 person. Small place, but no so many people were there. The divider between the seating area was pretty good during these corona times.

We are only in Stockholm for 3 nights and we ate here the first night we were here. Absolutely delicious and fab service. So good that we went again tonight. Great meal / great people-watching if you eat outside! ;-)
