Zan By Pong is a perfect example of how important it is to check recent reviews before visiting, instead of looking at the overall score. Short review: Cannot be recommended at time of writing this review. Exceptionally bad variety of sushi (see pictures, pieces were generally really small), mediocre Chinese buffet, Ice cream was good. Long review: My wife and I was visiting Stockholm for a week, and one evening we wanted to try to find a place with running sushi. Zan By Pong seemed like the best choice when I was checking similar nearby restaurants based on the overall review score. Arriving at the restaurant, service by the staff was good. We found a table located close to where new sushi was put on the "conveyor belt" going around the restaurant. We began trying the (not so) different sushi, and quickly realized that it would probably be best to go with the Chinese buffet instead, since the sushi pieces were so small and lacking greatly in variety (We sat around for 15-20 minutes with the exact same types of sushi being provided). The Chinese buffet was mediocre at best (however good variety), but the included ice cream was good. Overall, NOT a good experience, and visiting can definitely not be recommended until something is done about the variety and size of the sushi being served.

If you want running sushi with quality, you come here. Have been here several times even though kista is far from my home just for this. Standard sushi quality compared to normal sushi, but good for a buffé. Also nice hot meal options. Nice place.

The service in this restaurant is fantastic with workers who are attentive and having a good energy. The restaurant is situated just around 120 meters from the Kista train station. The food was good and reasonable prices. The smile on their faces and they coming to ask how it’s going with the food is great and I recommend you try it anytime you are in Stockholm. It’s 18 minutes in the Metro from Stockholm Central Station.

Usually it has nice selection of sushi and wok dishes. Today they wok dishes were not there. I hope they will go back to it.

The place was clean and cozy. I like the concept of sitting in a table and small plates with sushi and deserts are send around through a conveyor belt. It is very convenient. Some of the food was good (vegetables mix, noodles, chicken dishes) and other not so good or indifferent. The buffet was pretty limited in variety and the service was poor since they didn't fill in the trays often. We were there for more than an hour and the dumpnings, vegorolls and fried shrimps never got a refill. They also took a lot of time to empty our table from all the small dishes. Overall, I think it is to is too expensive for it's variety and service.

One of the great places in Stockholm. I can't believe that there are not so many locations in Stockholm. Zan should exist practically everywhere in Sweden. It's affordable, extremely delicious with unlimited sushi. What more can one ask? More sushi? Yep, you got it. Unlimited sushi.

Very good sushi and buffé. Friendly staff. Like the rolling band a lot. They have good ice cream as well. Recommended.

Amazing sushi if you eat a lot the conveyer and buffet all you can eat deal is very worth it amazing sushi very fresh the warm buffet is also delicious. Definitely recommend this place. Only problem is that they don’t have coke only Pepsi and no Fanta only singo. This doesn’t matter as they taste the same and the food makes up for this minor inconvenience massively.

The buffet lunch from 12 to 2 pm is 120kr. It's all you can eat non veg food with lots of choices of running sushi. The food is good too.

The staff was very welcoming and nice. I think the food was in the lower quality or we just came in a bad time (one hour to close in time).

I never see before when you come to eat with your family and customer say you have 30 min to eat than we clouse with full people! If client come to eat in a time doesn’t matter you must accept clients! Couse who pay your salary it clients pay!!!! So I don’t recommend this place to eat!

For 145sek, you got so much to eat! Totally worth it. All you can eat sushi, nothing special but it works. 8 varieties of warm food, 4 varieties of grill meat, ice cream and coffee and tea. Totally will come back again,

Unfriendly staff! Unacceptable behaviour! The waitress asked me to wait outside while my friend was eating claming that I was eating from the buffet for free. Shame in you!

Nice asian buffet with running sushi, I don't like the extra meaty buffet, but the general buffet is tasty, running sushi is good quality with a lot of vegetarian options, there is also soup for starters and an ice cream machine, the price is very good on weekdays but I don't visit on weekends because it costs a lot more

Buffé cost 140kr but I swear they went - on me... Really good food, kind service and great atmosphere. One word to describe this place: Amazing! More then worth recommending...

Tasty buffet with noodles, pork and fried chicken, as well as circulating sushi / small bite belt. The sushi on the belt didn't feel fresh, not bad but also not very good. Ice cream machine for dessert. Paid 135 sek in May 2022 for lunch buffet.

I think they change the owner or chefs. Foods for buffet section wasn’t good like before , the noodle was so bad and served with pork, meat and chicken bbq. I like their old menu which is more Asian taste . I don’t care about the price since they up the price for 135kr if I’m not mistake for the lunch, but at least the foods will be bombastic! So sad for that hope they will do something !

Good tempura sushi, but the vegetarian option we ordered was really bad. I guess good for fish but not good for vegetarians.

This sushi was pretty good, but not quite worth the price. Feels like they spend more time on the decorations on the plate then the actual sushi. This might be because I visited under lunch hours and they were serving a buffet and I was ordering of the menu, but the salmon tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. Might give this another try during dinner-service.

208 SEK per person all inclusive. Coffee and ice cream included. Very good choice of sushi and fast service. Walking sushi include two levels of small dishes. Bottom level is around ten different sorts of sushi and the top one is mostly fruits and desserts. A lot of warm dishes as well inclusive asian soup. Everything was tasty enough and even some nice surprises. One star minus for greasy splattered plates.
