The a la carte food is actually on a level or two above what this place muster in other aspects. It was gorgeous to look at and absolutely delicious! But make no mistake they do charge you for it. Fully. Service staff a mix unfortunately. Had two rather sloppy and bizarre encounters with different waitresses before a third waitress showed up and sorted the rest of the evening out to perfection. Wonderful outdoor space literally above the water on which there was a lot going on to watch. The place got absolutely jam packed both in and out so we were happy we had a prolonged booking.

A gorgeous restaurant located right next to the lake with outdoor seatings available. I had an amazing business lunch. They also offer business lunch menus providing all the different types of dishes. Highly recommended!

Visited for my first julbord and loved it. Everything was delicious and we were well looked after. I imagine it would be a beautiful location in summer.

I heard that the atmosphere of this restaurant give its best during warmer months when you have a lot of sunlight and you can see outside, but also in a not so special dark winter evening the lighting and the fireplace lighted on made it nice and cosy and special. Toast Skagen was very good even if portion is quite smaller than average. Creme brulee was perfectly made.

Real nice place with an awesome view, great food, good service! Main course around 300SEK So you pay for it, but it’s def worth it!

The meatballs are the best here that we had in Sweden. Also loved the fried herring!

We got a hint from the owner of the Airbnb that we rented during our stay in Stockholm to keep Sjöpaviljongen in mind when in search for a place to eat. And boy, are we glad that we followed up on that. We are quite critical when it comes to food, but there weren't any points of criticism to be found. We had a simple, yet very fine Red Grasshopper cocktail with tequila, lime juice and honey as a pre-dinner drink. Our starters were the truffle risotto with scallops and the steak tartare with pickled chantarelles and browned onion cream. We both were saddened to see our plates empty so quickly. We both ended our night with a beautiful main course which were poached pike-perch with scallops, a miso broth and dill cream and a premium sirloin steak with crispy mushrooms, pickled onion and a truffle gravy respectively. Friendly and fast service, exquisite flavours and perfectly cooked meat and fish. We couldn't have asked for more. Det var utmärkt!

I spent a week in Stockholm with friends who live there and this was the first place they took me. Every day we would compare to this meal, and it nothing came close. The best meals for me are flavors I would not normally try or that I don’t care for - and I’m def not a meatball and gravy person. But the highlights for the experience was the gravy for the meatballs (note the rich brown color- not the pasty gray of flour and water gravy) and the crushed dreams under that scoop of ice cream in the dessert. After dinner we bought some dream cookies from the store- NOT the same thing. I gotta find fresh dreams somewhere. I could not recommend this place more.

We found this restaurant by chance and stopped for a quick break. All good things conspired to ensure we enjoyed a relaxing hour: the great sunny day, cool weather, and beautiful marina scenery. The food was tasty, fancy and the service very good with trained amiable helpful waiters. We didn't quite mind the relatively few menu choices or that they were on the pricy side, as those were secondary to the experience. As 🍓s are in season, the chef agreed to customize the desert ... that made it even better. The sun was setting and a momma duck and her baby were floating among the yellow water lilies at the edge of the water. We think you would enjoy it too.

Always nice and relaxing to visit Sjöpaviljongen. Stopped for a glas of champagne after a long walk in the lovely weather. Hovmästaren is really nice and friendly.

We celebrated our wedding here and had a really good time. Staff was helping us plan the dinner, food and service were wonderful and ... the wedding cake was better than we had imagined it could be. Stor tack!! ☺️

really expansive for nothing special, the dish was not really tasty but looks really good, the location was also good but not enough to explain the price. Also slow service even if the're not many customers inside. Sadge

Fabulous food and atmosphere.

Sjöpaviljongen has been my favorite restaurant where I used to invite my friends and visitors at different occasions. We used to be very happy with their friendly staff and good food. However, something must have happened at the restaurant since my previous visit a few months ago, because yesterday I couldn't recognize the place. We didn't get an acceptable service. When we arrived we ordered the food and the wine to our dinner. We've got the wine but we needed to wait for more than one and a half hour for the food. Besides, my dietary restrictions, i.e., my food allergy (which I specified both when I booked the table and when I ordered the food) were not addressed properly. I clearly repeated the problem again, but after a while I was served the same food on a new plate. Fortunately, I noticed this and called the waitress again. She took my plate but didn't come back for a while. So I found her and asked about my dish. She checked again and told me that they will prepare a new dish for me. When I finally received my dish everyone in my company has already finished their food a whileago...

Little bit overpriced for nothing exceptional. The two stars are for the service and the location. But the cuisine is mediocre and the menu a bit empty. I would recommend it for a drink. The presentation is excellent but too bad that it doesn't taste as good as what it looks like.
