I stayed at the Hiddenseer for two days while visiting Stralsund (See it in blackandpaper.com) It was really good. The staff is really nice and the rooms are very clean but could be a bit cramped for some. The best aspect of the room was the terrace view. Secondly, the hotel is next to the aquarium and other bars and eateries. And, a 10 minute walk to the center. We had dinner at the Hiddenseer restaurant with a great view.

One of the best restaurants you will find in Stralsund. The location is close to the water and very comfortable on the inside! You need to try the seasonal fish. They are fresh and good prepared with delicious side dishes. Hope to come back soon!

Round about 5 minutes after our arrival in the restaurant without any server showing up we took a menu card for browsing (placed right behind us). Shortly afterwards the server came out ranting about how we could just take the menu and that this is no self serving. A more customer friendly behaviour would be appreciated.

Had a room on top floor with a great view from the big balcony over the ocean! Big and nice room.

We just tried the cafe at street level, outside. Service was awful, slow and not polite, and the waitresses seems pissed off that you dont speak german, one even rolled eyes. Dont mention the war😊

Charming hotel with nautical theme on the waterfront. Room small but comfortable, with nice view. Warning - no elevator, and steep stairs. Breakfast ok but not worth the price - try the cafe across the street.
