This is a well-run and clean hotel. The best quality is the location- right by the Theresien Tor and the old city. I was very glad that they had air conditioning in the room since it was quite a hot day. The staff was friendly and competent. We were on a bike tour and were able to store our bikes in the underground garage. the breakfast buffet was good. I was happy that my request for a double room for two separate beds was granted. We didn't have much of a view, just the roof, but it was quiet. The rooms are not big but okay in size. For my taste the bed was a bit hard. No coffee, tea, or hot water cooker but there was a mini bar.

We enjoyed 3 wonderful days at the Hotel Theresientor in Straubing. It was an excellent choice in every way. All of the staff were very welcoming and professional, and they made it a point to know their guests. We were very pleased with our room, as it was large, clean, and well appointed, plus we needed and appreciated having the air conditioning. The morning buffet breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of choices. The hotel is in a great location for enjoying Straubing, as it is in the heart of the Altstadt within easy walks to shops, restaurants, museums, and sights. Straubing is a delightful city and the Hotel Theresientor will always be our choice. 5 Star Plus!!

Really well placed hotel, really in the center of straubing. Paid underground park, really clean overall. The hotel is always warm even when it’s freezing outside. The downsides are that they did not reffil the soap or shampoo for a whole week, and the blankets are weirdly small. The breakfast is divine, the quality is superb, the pastry amazing. There is bo much variety but it’s not a problem when the quality it’s that good! Staff is helpful and able to communicate in good english.

Great place, the rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful! The breakfast is delicious, all of the food has an amazing quality! The hotel is really well localised, is in the middle of the city, has a underground park that is paid! However the blankets are very short and the shower gel and other products don’t are refilled during 1 whole week!

We are yearly visitors at this Hotel when we come to Straubing. Great location, modern room, excellent service, easy underground parking, reasonable prices, very good selection in breakfast room. All in all perfect for our needs.

Great looking hotel. Very modern, nice and high quality rooms. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly personal. Good price. Bike rental at low price. In the middle of the town center. Sorry, can't find anything to complain about, other than having to wear masks. But that's the fault of our dear "co-citizens" who refuse to be vaccinated in their memorable fight for freedom.

Decent accomodations in a smaller town outside of Munich (1hr). Clean with Okay beds (they were 2 singles and hard with a comforter for cover). Staff are extremely nice and accomodating. Check out Molloys Irish Pub which is steps from hotel (Stuart the owner is great)

This hotel has great service and hospitality. The staffs are very nice and they go the extra mile to make your stay easy and comfortable. Some of their rooms are equipped with electric beds which is very important if you have back surgery.

All was very cheerfully done to assure our comfort and well-being. We appreciated the staff's assistance in every instance, and we had a lovely weeklong stay.

The location of the hotel is perfect, directly on the main street. I am very satisfied with the hotel and suggest to everyone.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. Walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. Staff was accommodating to us and very polite. I was able to relax and heal after my surgery in this beautiful place.

Had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Theresientor last summer for an extended stay. It was absolutely delightful! The staff was always so kind and courteous! The beds were amazing and the breakfast was fresh and delicious! It was a wonderful experience in such a beautiful setting! I hope to go back one day...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
