I was traveling via Stuttgart Central Station and then my train got cancelled. Friend of mine had told me about this Chinese Garden and now was the perfect time to visit it! This garden is located 12 minutes (walking distance) from Stuttgart Central Station. When I was there luckily there were no people so that was perfect because I could relax. The Chinese Garden is not that big but it’s very beautiful! I think during the late afternoon it can get very busy, but otherwise no negatives! If you ever have the time, you must visit this place! 🌸

Very very tiny place. Except a small waterfall and a restaurant nothing much is there. The place is very clumsy. From a point you have a great view of a large part of Stuttgart city. That's it. No proper place to even sit or stand properly.

a small but peaceful oasis with a great view over stuttgart. perfect for escaping the city’s hectic rush for some minutes. what I like is the symbolism of the garden. each element stands for a piece of the taoistic cosmos.

Small, pleasant and calm place, with a beautiful view of the city of Stuttgart. It needs a little more maintenance but it's still a nice place to visit

Small and cute place with a mesmerising view of Stuttgart Mitte. But it is usually crowded on weekends and that does not allow the leisure to completely enjoy the scenery.

Serene Ambiente at any time of day and any weather. Completely open to public 24/7. Great view onto the city and into your thoughts ~

Small garden not expected, still seems good to spend some time there. One can have city view from here, definitely good for photographers. 15-20mins by walk-in from center. It also well connected by public transport.

This is a lot smaller than expected. The view was nice, the scenery was also lovely, and as mentioned before there is quit a bit of graffiti around the area and on buildings.

Smaller than I thought. Nothing much to do or to see. Pretty crowded on weekends because there is not a lot of space. Many tourists come to take photos. But the view was incredible. Recommend to come around when it's spring so there would be many pretty flowers blooming around 🌸🍃

I expected this place would be little bigger, it's peaceful, but cramped. And in the evenings there it's little crowded.

A very small garden situated on the hill top. Can peace out for a while away from the usual noisy city vibes.

It was a bit too small and not well maintained. Basically, the pictures on maps show the whole thing. The view was, of course, nice, but to climb until there was not worth it. However, I visited the place in winter, so things could be better in warmer seasons.

Wonderful view on the city, but the garden is clearly needing some cleaning. Especially the water with golden fish and a turtle. Full of dust, mud and old leaves.

really nice, but nothing to do, take max 5min to visit... not really so clean. free !

Pretty sad garden. People thought it was okay to carve their names in the wooden pillar, throw trash in the bushes and write their names above the white entrance in colourful colours. It is also pretty small.

The Chinese Garden in Stuttgart is a must to visit and one can feel at peace, but it’s small and needs TLC; someone to maintain it and look after it. However, I’ll recommend you to visit it.

Very beauty the only two monuments and if you want to get relax and view the panorama is a good place. But the garden is very small and nothing else special, in less than 5min you have already visited

As some have written, this is a beautiful but small crowded place. However, there is a "secret place" usually not occupied by people when the observation deck with a bench is busy. Try going to the left from the chinese house, straight after bamboo grove you will get one more place to observe Stuttgart. Also, try to find the turtle in the green waters, its so cute ;)

Needs a bit cleaning but apart from that ot gives you a nice asian feeling. Good for a short visit or to relax and read a book (if less people and children are there) or a have a nice coffee and conversation

Beatiful little Chinese garden. Small lake, rocks, a small pagoda and a beautiful view over Stuttgart. Not obligatory for your two days Stuttgart trip, but something you want to have experienced on your way to knowing Stuttgart well.

It is a very small garden present near the Hauptbahnhof. This has small fountain which is situated near the pond. We can have a bird's eye view of Stuttgart city. It requires some more maintenance and caretaker. Some fishes and tortoises are found in the pond.

I found this garden during the "City bus Hop On/Hop off (tourist bus, we had to come back when I had time to enjoy it all. Just a small spot with a nice view of the center- city of Stuttgart Quiet place with families and couples sharing snacks and drinks in the view in front of them.

Really cool but a.very small garden. Will take about 10 mins to see everything

  • 2/5 Hamed J. 1 year ago on Google
Very tiny Place, far from city center, do not recommend! I think it's high rate in review part is deceptive. You can definitely find much better places in Stuttgart to visit.
