Gym is good, overcrowded after around 4 until 10. No limit on people coming in, but the spaces and equipment is halved due to covid measures. Doesnt make sense.. Furthermore, and most importantly, there is no AC!!! AC is always off. Feels like a sauna and im not sure if that is even allowed in this current covid climate. definitely uncomfortable EDIT: 5 45 in the morning and this is common to see as the images added here. no one takes care of stuff, its always a mess. cancelled my contract and will be happy to go somewhere else asap

Very poorly organized. Some weights are distributed irregularly, some are simply missing. And that's at 6 o'clock. You can't imagine how crazy it will get later in the day. I used to train at McFIT Nuremberg Mögeldorf and the location was so much better. If this doesn't improve in a month, I'll quit.

One of the employee with beard behaved inappropriately with me. He pulled me from my jacket from behind to stop me going through the door. Worst experience i have faced as a customer in a gym. This is not the way to treat anyone in or outside the gym. You should provide "behaviour with your customers" training to your employees. I have cancelled my contract immediately. I will never use mcfit in my life now.

    1. Experiences: I have now been a member since the beginning of August 2023 and at this point I went to the gym for the first time. At the beginning I took a coaching lesson to get used to correct execution right from the start. I can also recommend this to any other beginner, my training framework was well addressed and I was very satisfied (greetings to Fabi as a very competent trainer). I found it a bit of a shame at this point that it was no longer possible to take advantage of a trial training session for €10, as I had already registered as a member online and therefore had to pay for a coaching lesson for the full amount of €49. If you go to the studio for the first time, for example to pick up your membership card, you should also note that trainers are not always on site and, especially in the morning, I experienced a few times that people had to wait in front of the barrier and then simply left again because Despite ringing the bell, no one came. 2. Studio equipment: There are enough devices available and as long as you don't go during peak hours in the evening, you don't have to wait for them. The toilets are clean so far, the showers sometimes smell a bit musty, but everything is fine. A hairdryer is also available. Some lockers are broken open every now and then, which gives a slightly uneasy feeling, but I haven't had any negative experiences in this regard so far. 3. Conclusion: Overall, the gym isn't as good as others, but if you just want to work out and are looking for a reasonably priced studio, this is the right place for you. Especially if you wait for a suitable offer, the price is significantly cheaper than any competitor and I am also happy with training here.

The gym is good and relatively well maintained. It is relatively full at peak times but that is normal. There is a parking garage and good public transport connections. Unfortunately there isn't really internet in the building.

Good prices, but no air inside. So prices really doesn’t matter when you can’t breathe.

Update to my original review: upping from 1 to 2 stars This place is now back to being open 24 hours, so I joined up again. I come here early in the morning, so normally I don't have to deal with the crazy rush that most people do when going at 5pm. I don't like how they removed cleaning bottles from the weight area so now you can't clean off the equipment. I find that really unhygienic which can lead to transfer of diseases. They used to have it during COVID times, but since that's over with, they got rid of them and are now only in the cardio area. But it seems like they don't care about that because I've mentioned it a few times to the staff and they continue to ignore it. The equipment that is defected stays defected for a few months before they come and fix it. The weighted balls are such in bad shape that they must be throw out. There is stuff coming out of them but they refuse to replace it. The only reason I come here is for the convenience since it's right by my house. If it wasn't for the convenience, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. --------------------------------------- I was a member for two years because it was a convenient location and it was open 24 hours. Then I had to cancel due to Mcfit changing their hours from 24 hours to limited time for this specific location. Their excuse for making it limited time was due to the energy crisis going on but they decided to keep a bunch of the fitness centers open 24 hours that are a lot bigger and use a lot more energy than this smaller location. So this excuse makes no sense. You would think a fitness center in Mitte would want to stay open 24 hours but they decided other locations outside of the city are okay to keep 24 hours. I was one of many people who would come in around 0430 every morning. That is the only time I could come in and be able to get to work on time. If they decide to open this location back up 24 hours, I would join again. Opening at 6am does not work for me and my work schedule.

Some of the equipment in Studio Mitte has been in need of replacement for a long time. The treadmills in particular are so outdated, very loud and constantly broken. At peak times, 5 out of 10 treadmills are defective at the same time and this has been going on for 2 years now! The Feuerbach and Mühlhausen studios are significantly better equipped and have a completely different standard! Finally change those things!

Avoid at all costs. They’re cheap, but that comes at a cost. Gym etiquette is incredibly poor. Equipment is old and not well looked after. On-site staff are unhelpful and not up-to-date with their offerings to customers (which is their job?) If you’re looking for a good gym experience, look elsewhere.

I wanted to go on the treadmill for a bit this afternoon. 11:30 a.m. during the week. 5 treadmills are defective and have been for several weeks plus the incline doesn't work on the sixth one. You can no longer train at this location in the evening or on weekends, it is simply so full that you have to wait longer for a locker. I've been a member here since 2017, but I'm going to deregister because I can't train like this.

In the best case scenario, out of ten existing treadmills, five work. In summer it is unbearably hot. Overall, the studio is very small for the number of its users. Spaces that are rarely used (such as bike storage) should urgently be repurposed to make room for very popular equipment.

Super great service, the whole team is really nice, especially Deniz Ö. welcomes you with an infectious smile! I would come train around the clock just because of her! Few studios are open 24/7. I'm just happy and enjoy training there! 🫶🏽

Edited: After 2 years membership, McFIT finally provided sauna services! Not technically but the air-conditioning is a catastrophe in all rooms! Friendly staff but the place is always overcrowded and tight.

Always overcrowded equipment, broken air conditioning, very hot, more of a gym for aerobics and fitness

  • 1/5 Dean J. 9 months ago on Google
The machines are okay, still missing a lot for a gym chain that big but that's not the real problem. The free weight area is completely messed up. You always have to "search" for the right dumbbells because they are never sorted by the staff. Also, the dumbbells you need are never free because there are always at least 20 people working out at the benches at the same time. No room is air-conditioned although they are permanently overcrowded. I have never had such a bad experience in a gym as in mcfit or should I say McShit. Even if this review is very offensive, I just don't want to advise anyone to train there and especially not in the summer. Better pay a little more and go to a good gym.

The gym has finally fixed the air quality. It is always full in the evenings but that’s the gym life. Kind staff and easy location

This is a good enogh place to train, you can get the workout tools to train like in any mcfit. There is also an active workout session with live trainer.

ONE Plus point: location Negative points: - Stinky, and dirty workout rooms. No Windows, no ventilation. It is like working out in a fog of other people's breath and sweat! - dark weight rooms. One can hardly see the weights or numbers on the weights. What is the point of this? saving on electricity - Unfriendly personal Glad I don't workout there regularly. I would have cancelled my membership a long time ago.

I have been a member for about 4 years. I am giving 2 stars only because of the location and hours. I don't understand why the owners and management of these gyms think they need to entertain us with loud, annoying, bumping club music. If I want this I will go to a club at night not at 6:00 in morning or any other time. Most everyone who does sport here wears their own EARPHONES because they have their own music preferences. So what's the point then...? The overly loud club music at McFit in Stuttgart Mitte prevents me and others from even hearing our own music, concentrating on our workouts or communicating with others, which is why we come here. I do sport early in the morning to help me relax and clear my head for the day. This place does not help with this and it does the exact opposite. I am stressed when I go here. A variety of chill music genres without the constant invasive beating and thumping would be so much better. If a member likes this stuff, they can listen to it with their own headphones. I would much prefer to hear nothing from the speakers at this gym to what they force us to listen to ever day. Again and respectfully , this is 2023, we have our own earphones and music. I understand McFit is trying to convey a brand and music might be a small piece of it. But, people go to your gym because it's cheap, there are a variety of weights and the location and time is convenient. Not because of the playlist choices. The music is a nuisance and many who try to ignore it everyday with their own music would probably agree. I would prefer to stay here if they do something about their music. Otherwise, I will be looking for another place to workout even if it's more expensive. I hope management reads this comment and considers this request.

Good place for working out when it’s not rush hour. I do power lifting and there are many different weights and machines. Dumbbells are mostly not in order for some reason. For the price it’s a good one.

It’s not the fanciest fitnessstudio we know but who cares! Cause it’s more about being motivated and getting the work done

  • 1/5 Uzi K. 1 year ago on Google
Always full, never clean, never aired, no wi-fi, no phone connection. The quality of the machines is mid to low level. The people coming here are turning the small smelly Ground-floor-Gym in a cr*phole.

Super friendly receptionist named Deniz. She gave me great advice and showed me the studio. The studio is very attractive, all on one level, only too few treadmills as I've seen

Best gym I’ve tried in years. Cintia , was just the best worker I’ve seen in years. She greeted me with the best manners, showed me everything nicely and explained all in the best way possible. I am deeply sorry I can’t start my contract straight away since I live quite far from the gym location. Nonetheless, I’m looking forward to be only attending this gym when I’ll move to the center during February/ March. Until then I can only be content with the one day I had there. Unfortunately I can only visit and train in this gym once per week so that’s the only reason why I’m not making a contract. Anyone who lives near the are THIS IS THE GYM you should choose. Clean, big, has all the equipment needed, just THE BEST and the best worker they could hire works there. Thank you for everything Cintia 💕🍀

Just had my first workout here today. I really enjoyed the experience. Air conditioned rooms, secure lockers, a variety of machines, free weights, exercise programs/rooms, and friendly staff. Just found out that the trainers will show you around the gym and some exercises for 30 minutes at €19. Or there are some exercise information pamphlets by the 30 minute circuit training room.
