Been coming here since before Covid-19. The food quality has always been awesome. Love their daily specials which always change as well.

Overall unagi is nice but chirashi sashimi not really. All are abit expensive price for such small portion. Chicken gizzard also nice. Extreme long waiting time 40-45 mins, but the staff serving us was attentive. Free flow refill cabbage. Love this! Small shop seating area.

On our inaugural visit to the not so visible restaurant that was located on the upstairs of the shoplot, we ordered Japan fresh oyster (SA12), unagi sushi (SU8), beef tataki (A4), soft shell crab salad (SD6), hamachi (SY18), signature homemade unique spicy miso soup (NABE1), yaki onigiri (RN6), and garlic fried rice (RN5). We were served Japanese tea on the house, which earlier declined to order as we already ordered soup. There restaurant has been there for three years and has two other outlets. The food was tasty and satisfying, although each serving a tad small, that led us to order more varieties from the menu to try. The oyster were indeed fresh and nice, which is at a promotion of 5 for RM88, but the yaki onigiri was slightly burnt. Parking on weekend was surprisingly available on this occasion. The bill came to RM349.15 for the three of us.

A hidden gem in Subang. Unassuming but really delicious. On the fly, you would think it's the usual Japanese dining, yet their quality of food and cooking is fresh and delicious. Book ahead to secure a place! We had their Yakimono chicken promo. Super yummy, and fresh sushi moriawase. Delicious! Their sweet potato with kombu butter was the best! We should have ordered more. Their grilled hamashi fish is just perfectly cooked. Not dry, but skin is crispy. Best was their chicken skin, wings, yakitori. We ordered 2 sets! Definitely will come again. As their place has good ventilation and your clothes don't smell after the meal.

Tokuya’s staff are very helpful and attentive. The place gives off a chilled Japanese dining vibe, no frills, just good Japanese food paired with even better Japanese drinks. The beef tataki is a must, the chicken wings are a bonus, but the highball and lemon sour is a must!
