My partner & I went there just to try our luck since we know that this place usually needs reservation. We're surprised as they managed to find a table for us for the night without even needing to wait, maybe it's because it was a weeknight. The recommended nachos with shrimp was amazing! We also had the beef fajitas, which was good but the nachos is the star ⭐️ & Yes the main host's service was really good! Entertaining & friendly, we enjoyed ourselves for the night. Do expect the prices to be fairly high, but the food & service is definitely worth a try. 👍

First thing you need to know about this place - Service was FANTASTIC! That's why it's the highest rated Mexican restaurant in the area, other than the fact that their food was yum-yum as well! There were a total of 4 birthday celebration here on a Thursday night - mine included so that shows you how popular this place is! They sang, room photo, celebrated with you and gave you a free dessert👍👍 Had the nachos, lamb shank, quesadilla & mushroom soup. All were on point. Will definitely be back here just to try out other items in the menu. Oh did mention service was fantastic again?

The dining experience is perfect. The food is nice. Ordered Enchiladas and Fajitas beef. I personally enjoy Fajitas. Waiter is very friendly. An advice if you are going to the Subang branch- is a little tough to find car park during lunch hour (I went on Saturday)

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Subang Jaya! The food are all delicious. Price is high, but with the quality of their food, it worth every single penny. The service from the staff is top notch as well. They are busy due to high volume of customers, but they do serve you well.

Just had a great reunion dinner with long time friends. Atmosphere was nice and festive. Decorations were appropriate for a Mexican restaurant and aircond was set at full blast on a scorching evening. Service was great but sometimes a little too much. In the first 30 minutes, our waiter must have visited our table 8x-9x. Once for ordering starting drinks, once for food menu, once for drinks menu, once for food recommendation, once for drink recommendation, once for ordering, twice to check on us etc etc. I recommend to reduce the interruptions such as giving everything all at once. Food was nice, as expected from an upmarket mexican restaurant. My favorite was the quesadilla with chicken and mushroom. Worth the money to add in the mushrooms. Overall, great place for Mexican food during special occasions.

You will enjoy the best service at Las Carretas, the waiters are fun and could be cheeky too, I could see many customers were happy to chat with him too. Food taste good, must give thumbs up to the prawn as it's so fresh! Price is on the high side and tortilla refill is rm2/piece. Still, it's a great dining experience in Las Carretas. Remember to reserve especially during peak time. I was lucky to get the last table for walk-in.

The Nachos is undeniably good.....beautiful ambiance...The dessert I had was out of this world! OMG! I'm definitely coming back for the dessert. Not to mention the superb amazing and courteous service by this kind gentleman by the name of Ivan(I think) been so long since I've experienced such a service. Cosy neighbourhood Mexican restaurant. Food has always been good. This restaurant has been in Subang taipan for a long time and we’ve been regulars until we moved away. We just returned and are delighted to find it still in operations. We arrived for dinner a little early (6ish) but we were welcomed in anyway and we were served some helpings of nachos with salsa while waiting for the kitchen crew to arrive. The hostess assisted with our orders and made sure we get our food first. We tried 1. Chili con carne - served with Mexican rice. It was tasty 2. 500gm steak - absolutely delicious. Portion was big enough to share.

This restaurant has been around for many years and the last time I was here was years ago, and how they have improved. The inside is more spacious than how it looks outside. They have an interesting menu, from taco to aged steak. The food is good. Kids like it too. Decorations inside the restaurant is also nice. Service is also good- starting from the first staff who greeted us at the entrance. A nice dining experience.

I decided to come to this place after a decade (having very good memories since my last visit) and I was thoroughly let down by the taste, quality and portion of the food served. For starters, I ordered the guacamole dip (RM28.50)(pictured below) (in my mind I was eagerly waiting for the portion be at least half of what you would get a Chillis but out came a meagre portion of nachos with guacamole (which tasted bland). I also had the the Mushroom soup (RM 15.50 (If you wanted truffle oil, you'll need to pay RM17.50 for it - what a joke in my opinion) while my partner ordered the Mexican Chilli Soup (RM12.90) which was nothing to shout about. Though their garlic bread was decent. The margaritas were average as we ordered those as well. For the mains, I ordered the Chili Con Carne (RM34.50)(pictured below) while my partner ordered the Oaxacan Shrimp (RM47.90). Both taste like boxed meals out from a microwave. Wanting to give this place another chance, I decided to try the Sopapillas De Manzana (RM18.90) for dessert and the portion was so small. My partner and I finished it in two mouthfuls. At this point I could not even be bothered to take any more pictures as I was utterly disappointed. Paying RM234.00 for the bill compounded the feelings to make it worst. The only saving grace about this place was the servers who were really attentive and did their jobs well. The one star I am giving for this review is for that. This is my first and last time visiting this restaurant; there is nothing "Mexican" about this place sorry to say.

Great atmosphere for a gathering of friends. Staff is super friendly and helpful. But kinda disapointed with the Tacos here. It was not as good as other places ive tried and kinda runny with the juices flowing rather than dry and crunchy. The drinks werw strong though if you're looking for some cocktails that pack a punch.

Love this authentic Mexican food. The tacos are fresh and crispy with good mixture of ground beef, cheese and guacomole. The steak is tender and juicy made to perfection. Service is excellent. Dont have to wait long for my food. Visited this restaurant again recently. Was not happy with the steak as it was dry and tough. Despite ordered medium prepared Australian steak. Complaint to the waitress but no action taken.

This place serves the best frozen margaritas and jalapeño poppers. The entire restaurant is decorated with all things Mexican. The steaks are really good as well. I enjoyed the quesadillas and the amazing salsas (they make their own hot sauce-yums). I always have a good time when I'm here. The service is also very good. They are very friendly and easy to talk to.

Ordered an oxtail soup and a habanero green mussels for take away. When reached home, the oxtail soup was packed in a small container with two small morsels of meat. RM16.50 for that. Real rip-off!

One of my favourite place for lunch. Had their ribs multiple time. Finding car park is a big headache but the food and the service is worth the effort. Special shout out to Anaha for being a five star server and making sure we had enjoyable time there.

We have been regulars for this shop. The food is fine. Our last visit to this shop was the worst, especially on the experience and the drinks. Experience - we were 4 of us. We ate and drank for rm900, since it was our family reunion. We realized our margaritas are very diluted. The bulldog margarita which we had ordered were completely awful (which used to be nice). And when we complained, no action was taken, not even a sorry. They only mentioned the bartender was new. The worst of all is when the waiter by the name of Naha, kept body shaming one of us. this is utterly disappointing. staffs need to know their limit and how to converse with a customer. This definitely spoiled our Christmas reunion. We will nvr return again.

Service here is great! Someone had a birthday and the waiters broke into song with guitar and maracas. Habanero chili is legit. The beef brisket taco is the real deal. Fries are a great complement to dial down on the Habanero chili overdose. Love their pineapple juice. We were here till 11pm plus on the 2nd floor and we weren't rudely asked to leave. Will definitely return :)

Very bad dining experience in this outlet. We ordered steaks, it was cold and just a lump of charred fat. The service is also appalling. While talking about this with my dining partner, one of the regular drunkard here even heckled us about the cold meat.

Has a nice ambience & atmosphere and seems to server as the local watering hole for the area. Food wise, upfront the prices seem to be on Bangsar-esque level, but the food maybe just slightly less so. Beef back ribs are the recommended, but it wasn't available when I dined there. So an assortment of lamb & a chimichanga had to serve along with Margaritas as an accompaniment. Only the Lamb Pulled Sliders appetisers was not worth it imo.

Service was good and food was delicious and portions are just nice for per person tho it's a little pricey. Good choices for drinks too.

Without doubt, the ambience and the environment is definitely cozy, warm and comfortable. But sadly, the food didn't really live up to par. The heat of the food is not that optimal, rather warm I would say. It really seems like it was microwaved, because whenever a plate arrives, every single corner of the plate seems to be hotter than the food (also judging from the Chimichanga I had, the meat didn't really taste fresh and also the Nachos wasn't really good at all). Presentation of the food is just average, almost every dish comes along with the same sides and condiments. Taste of the food is just so-so. The service however, wasn't to the point of disappointment but it really didn't make my dining experience that enjoyable at all as the waiters took a really long time to acknowledge my requests. I didn't come here for drinks, but only for a simple dinner. I was really expecting something nice from this whole experience but unfortunately it was just average.

I loved this place. I used to come here for birthday occasion. They still have the complimentary for birthday. The waiter and waitress are friendly. It doesn't have smell of smoke compared to other place. This place has bar. They don't serve pork though. This is a fine dining restaurant so you can expect the price to be more expensive than those regular restaurant. They served mexican foods and it tasted great. Unfortunately, the one I had wasn't great as last time I had. I believed that it was due to the restaurant was fully packed. I felt that my order doesn't satisfied me at all. I couldn't really taste much. However, the complimentary pudding is delicious. Still recommend to come here.

Managed to stay at the top of their game all these years. I wouldn't say that there's any drastic drop of quality in terms of the regular menu of burritos/steaks etc. Maybe the portion of the sauces may be a bit lesser than before but no big deal. Been frequenting this place since the 2000s. Never fail to celebrate birthdays of my family members or acquaintances here every year. Kudos!
