Was in the liquor shop getting some nice wines and sake. Missus wanna grab some light bite before going off and we really make a good choice for meal. Place was huge and comfy. Good tap beers and friendly staff. Surrounding was clean with good hygiene.

Best pub I have been to in a long time. Food is fantastic. The beer garden and venue all around is lovely.

Incredible food, fantastic service and a great atmosphere. Lovely outdoor area to sit and enjoy a drink. Margaritas were the best in Byron 🙌

We visited this beautiful venue when we were staying at Byron. Food and service was great. Friendly staff, clean venue, great for families and get togethers. Beautiful outdoor area and live music when we were there on a Friday. Definitely a must visit if you are travelling through

Happily stumbled across a great place for lunch.. quiet when we arrived about 12.30 but soon started to fill with lunchtime patrons. Loved the outside beer garden? area but we dined in the pleasant inside area. Staff were very attentive and the extensive menu, plus kids options, gave plenty of choice for lunch. We had the Traditional Beer Battered Fish and Chips with a side of Gem Lettuce & Radicchio. Wines and cocktails are well catered for and for a dessert try the Tropical Coconut Panna Cotta. Plenty of off-street parking plus disability parking and access via two large ramps. We will be planning a return trip sooner rather than later.

We booked a lunch special ticket on the solar powered train from Byron Bay and it included lunch at this hotel. What a great deal. Book one now. The Hotel is really lovely but we went to the bar and restaurant. It has a fantastic outside seating area. Lots of assorted seating available. We didn't have the choice of the whole food menu but we certainly had a good choice. There was a lovely atmosphere in the garden , with a beautiful flowers and plants all around you. It was really busy and we did wait a good time but it was really worth it.

Paid $60+ for 2 burgers and 2 beers to take away… I think when you pay that much money you can expect something that has a little more live to it. This looks like servo food. Especially in this area where competition is high, I won’t be going back. It’s a shame as they use to serve nice food. Service is convoluted, you can’t order food without a table number even take away and you have to order and pay at the counter just like when you pay $12 for a burger at the service station!

Outside area is beautiful. Tables inside were lovely with fresh flowers on each. Food was fantastic! We got the fried chicken, prosciutto pizza, pork fennel pasta and lamb chops. Everything was so delicious. Pizza and pasta was so good. (Better than some Italian restaurants) You could tell everything was handmade with fresh ingredients. Will definitely be back! Cocktails were delicious also!!

Popped in to North Byron Hotel for lunch with our 2 dogs. Food, vibes and drinks where amazing. Must visit in Byron for a casual, stylish pub. What a treat

Atmosphere lovely, drink service staff friendly, food service & quality very disappointIng, forgot to serve 1dish of chips to share- kids meal of pasta came out last -full of garlic & herbs 10 year old grandson wouldn’t eat it sent it back was advised “that’s personal choice no refund”. Ordered Margherita pizza to share with less cheese please, came out with triple cheese Requested refund on chips that didn’t arrive & pasta, only was told by chef, no refund, pasta is personal choice. Then he said “Don’t come back,” wasn’t interested in our feedback Very Rude chef should learn more about how to treat a customer. We will never eat there again, but play pool and few drinks nice place

We spent our Sunday night at NBH and had the most amazing night out in the stunning garden bar with our doggo. Stunning location, awesome cocktails, and super friendly staff. HUGE hats off to the chef, the wood fired pizza’s were 10/10! Highly recommend visiting for anyone wanting great tunes and all round good vibes just out of town. With outside being dog friendly, this was such a plus for us too. When we were leaving we were offered a free shuttle bus back into town too so thanks to the team for being so accomodating. We will be back.

Had a great dinner here with my wife. Staff were friendly and the food was really fantastic! The outdoor area is a great vibe too - will have to come back when it’s a bit warmer. Trivia night looks fun too (we didn’t partake) but will have to try next time! I’ve always known this place through the excellent bottle shop behind, but great to see the huge pub on the other side is so good also.

Stopped in for a drink and some lunch place looks nice but that’s about all, ordered two kid’s spaghetti a bowl of truffle chips and a burger, only one of the kids meals came out to start with, when I asked the waitress about it she looked annoyed, told me it will be out soon. The kids spaghetti was overly sweet, both kids said it was very average and after trying it I would agree, partner had the smashed burger and for $25 I expected a bit bigger then a side plate, if he hadn’t of being super hungry I would’ve sent it back due to it being cold the only thing I can recommend is the Parmesan chips.

Had some amazing meals here recently - a lot better than expected in all honesty. Well done to the kitchen !! The only downside was, we were there for trivia and the wait time at the bar was 5 minutes to get served. Something the team should try and address if they can, especially when your main trivia person is stuck at the bar when the round kicks off :-(

Absolutely amazing place to take your kids for a meal. They have a playground so the kids can play whilst you enjoy your meal. They were very accommodating in getting a table organized at short notice and whilst you’re there, try their coconut margaritas!

Service was very efficient and speedy, and the food was delivered with a smile. I ordered the amazing prosciutto pizza! I also had a lychee and melon crush cocktail which was super refreshing and perfect for the sunny weather.

A fantastic local pub with excellent food and great atmosphere. Perfect space for kids in the beer garden out the back. The pizzas are true Italian pizzas and the open skies BBQ was amazing (the porchetta was incredible!). Staff are super friendly- really enjoyed chatting with the Italian team there including Alessandro! Highly recommended!

A great outdoor space and laid back vibe. Such a shame our pizza was so bad we had the prawn pizza which had about 3 prawns cut up on it. It was cold and the slices weren’t cut through, so we had to cut with eating knife. Very disappointing

Amazing!! I celebrated my 22nd birthday here and everyone in the group loved it! We are already trying to find a time to come back! The spot is so lovely and the staff are amazing! So friendly and accommodating! Will definitely be back!

Went twice for lunch with the kids. Food is really nice. Up-market pub fare (burgers , Schnitzel, salads, pizza etc) and a great selection of local craft beers. We enjoyed the outdoor area and children's play area. Tiny bit more pricey than some other pubs in the region but reasonable for Byron I suppose.

Just celebrated one year old, this is a very cool pub with a lovely outdoor area full of plants and vibrant atmosphere. The food is awesome and they have great boutique beers. They also have an Italian pizzaiolo so that a guarantee!

Absolutely loved our visit. Beautiful food, beautiful atmosphere. Our party of 8 were highly impressed. Staff were lovely and friendly, gorgeous grounds and setting. We are from Sydney- must say was the best overall experience we've ever had for a pub/hotel! Can't rave about it enough

We came here for a family catch up expecting friendly, casual dining and had heard the food was good from a previous encounter. Unfortunately we were very underwhelmed, while we can understand staffing issues at the moment this is no excuse for the rude, offhand and ambivalent attitude from whom we took to be a manager, no surprise staff might not want to stay for long with that manner. Food was reduced from what we expected which hadn’t been communicated when we booked unfortunately so options were reduced to share plates and pizzas, food delivered pretty average and not of a great standard given the last reports. Hope you pull it together soon, other places we visited recently are performing much better with the same circumstances. Gluten free needs were met .

This beautiful hotel envisages the true spirit or Byron Bay. If a sprawling beer garden with acoustic tunes and festoon lighting sounds like your vibe then this is the place for you. Perfect for young families, equip with grassy knolls suitable for a picnic blanket and playground to boot. The wood fire pizzas are top notch and the customer service beyond reprieve. A little off the main drag makes for a nice change of pace. They even offer a complimentary shuttle service to your doorstep, a savior when taxis are unreliable at best. Move over Beach Hotel the North Byron has made a stand. Special mention to the lovely gentleman that drove us home. “Thanks Mate!” We will watch out for you on Playschool.

What a great experience we had at The North Byron Hotel. Outstanding, modern food that was on point and very delicious, with plenty of choices for omnivores and vegetarians alike. The beverage list was on the money and the friendly staff were very helpful and attentive. It's easy on the wallet and Ill be definitely be returning!

I had been going here for the best part of 5 years regularly and my previous rating amidst the transition to the new ownership was 2 stars. Rude staff, food quality dropped, sizes dropped and prices of everything went up and it appeared a great pub was being destroyed. I must say my opinion thankfully has changed for the most part, the atmosphere, tunes, decor and new staff are great. Food quality has picked up. The only reason it's not 5 stars is price and size of meals, they are great quality now just leave you wanting. But in saying that if you compare with the local Byron market its well priced as everything here is more expensive. Come check it out, it won't disappoint.
