A
terrific
resort
I
can
honestly
say
I
am
fortunate
to
have
stayed
here.
A
lovely
property,
meticulously
maintained,
it's
set
up
as
a
cluster
of
villas
and
historic
buildings
in
a
garden
setting,
directly
next
to
one
of
the
historic
Wat
chedi
that
is
outside
the
walls
of
Sukhothai
ancient
city.
Full
size
infinity
lap
pool,
lotus
pond,
poolside
cafe,
full
dinner
steakhouse,
and
full
service
spa
are
just
the
extras
dotted
around
the
complex
each
in
Thai
style
buildings,
connected
by
covered
walkways
surrounded
by
lush
gardens.
It
definitely
has
a
luxury
wellness
retreat
vibe
to
it.
The
open
lobby
and
the
ruins
are
filled
with
local
furniture.
I
can't
say
enough
about
the
friendliness
of
three
staff..I
had
greetings
and
smiles
from
literally
everyone
including
the
gardener,
spa
staff,
cafe
staff,
and
front
desk
team,
all
helpful
and
seemed
genuinely
pleased
you
are
there.
The
bed
was
comfortable,
the
walk
in
shower
was
large
and
the
bathroom
products
were
part
of
the
collection
used
at
the
spa.
Poolside
cafe
was
open
until
10
pm,
and
had
a
wine
special
when
I
visited.
I
had
coffee
and
cake
in
the
afternoon,
a
sparkling
water
with
lime,
and
a
tropical
coconut
yogurt
smoothie
during
my
stay.
My
reservation
came
with
a
breakfast
buffet
server
on
the
terrace
outside
next
to
lily
pond
along
the
steakhouse
building.
Tasty
food
included
hot
and
cold
Thai
specialties,
fruits,
bakeries,
juices,
tea
and
coffee.
The
only
downside
is
it's
slightly
further
out
than
other
resorts..
But
by
"father
out"
I
was
still
able
to
walk
to
the
entrance
of
the
historical
park
in
25
minutes
down
the
road
side
into
town.
I
would
come
back
again
to
stay
here
and
plan
two
or
three
nights,
be
a
little
less
tourist
intensive
at
the
historic
park
ruins,
and
mix
in
time
at
the
pool
or
spa
or
walk
into
town
for
a
local
restaurant
and
back
here
for
nightcap.
A
real
gem
-
thanks
for
a
wonderful
stay.
