It was pretty cool waking up with ancient ruins directly in front of the bungalow. Super comfortable bed and a huge bathroom complete with a claw foot bathtub. Very nice swimming pool and lounge area overlooking rice fields. Less than 2 kilometers from the historic city gates. I would definitely stay here again.

Our favorite hotel in Thailand! Great food at anytime. The spa and pool beautiful and relaxing. All of the staff incredibly friendly. View of old ruins with gorgeous grounds.

Just out of town, about a mile from the old city, the Sriwilai is quiet, peaceful, beautifully designed in traditional style, with a long pool with view over the paddy fields, even a temple in its back garden. A great stay and location. One of the best.

Loved this hotel. Used the hotel as a stopover between Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Relaxing, clean and the staff were so lovely.

Beautiful hotel, with fantastic food, views and facilities. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We borrowed their bicycles (free) to cycle to the nearby Sukhothai historical park. Faultless in every way.

What a mixed bag. At first glance it’s so incredible. The grounds are amazing and the staff is attentive. You get into the rooms and everything seems great. But then the air conditioner smells a bit stale, like it hasn’t been serviced in a while. We had three rooms, two of them smelled like backed up sewage. In my room the closet door light sensor was broken so the light wouldn’t shut off and the room never was dark. But my main concern is the general culture of the staff/hotel. It seems almost weirdly affordable, even by Thailand standards, and there is a reason for that. This is the stingiest hotel I’ve ever been to. So stingy that we felt unwelcome and a bit taken advantage of. When you walk into the room, you are welcomed with a huge laminated list of everything in the room, down to the “do not disturb sign” and the ashtray. The list itemizes how much you will be charged if someone damages the items. At first it seems like they’re just trying to sell everything, but then you realize they just don’t want you to leave any sign that you were in the hotel room. At the restaurant they gave our-year-old son, some plastic kids plates that we did not ask for. We told him he was too young, but they insisted because they thought it would be cute. He grabbed it and threw it on the ground cracking it. They immediately brought us a citation that they made me sign to confirm that I would pay an additional ฿100 for the broken plate. When we asked for an extra pillow and some sheets to be sent to our room, they made me verbally confirm that I would pay an additional ฿500. When we arrived three minutes late for breakfast, they questioned whether or not, we were still allowed to use our free breakfast voucher. In general, the staff people themselves were actually very nice, but I can tell that the culture of the management and the hotel itself is very stingy, and clearly had some sort of incident in the past where they were getting taken advantage of by their own guests. All in all it felt like the opposite of hospitality and I would not stay there again.

A very beautiful hotel, with magnificent outdoor surroundings. The huge swimming pool is very beautiful, and a pleasant place to relax. Avoid: the hotel restaurant, where the food is tasteless and the service mediocre. On the plus side: they were receptive to our criticisms. Prefer outdoor restaurants.

Probably one of the best hotels in Sukhothai in terms of exterior, room interior and size, facilities, view and professional service. Their foot massage service is just incredibly comfortable that makes me want to redo it again on the next day. The location is also very centralized in town and easy to access the historical sites, restaurants and local market. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a Sukhothai stay, rainy season should be quite beautiful given the nature surrounding the property!

If you book your room via an online travel app your breakfast may not have been included. This resort serves western breakfast cuisine and Thai cuisines. The resort is located about 2kms from the town’s main historic site. There is a historic site located next to this resort. The rooms here are excellent. The rooms are air conditioned. Some rooms have excellent views of the valley and rice farms. The pool here is large. The food is great. The staff’s service is excellent. 7eleven, and other shops, provide a cheap delivery service for guests at the resort. We found our stay at this resort very relaxing. The resort offers free bicycle hire for guests. There’s a spa and massage service at this resort.

Tucked away in a quiet part of Sukhothai it really is a peaceful oasis. The staff upon check in did advise us of some construction happening on property and they did their best to ensure we were placed away from the noise with minimal interruptions. The rooms were beautifully decorated with handicrafts and products from local crafts people and designers. It was a really nice touch. The pool was divine but the top 40 hits blasting from the pool restaurant was a bit of a vibe kill when one just wanted to relax and chill - some traditional music would have boded well. Loved my stay here regardless.

Located very close to the historical park is a very beautiful and relaxing resort. We've been there only to use the swimming pool and the atmosphere was really relaxing and we felt cuddled from the service. Very clean and cleaned towels always available

We stayed two nights to allow us enough time for both, the historic parc as well as the hotel area. Unfortunately the pool area gets seriously slippery when it becomes wet. So I almost fell and heavily bruised my toes. There was no sign for warning nor any info. I could not walk for the next two days. The management team responded very poorly by offering a fruit plat and then a 10% discount on the restaurant bill. Absolutely ridiculous. One should avoid the restaurant anyway as the Chef has no clue what he is doing. We got a food poisoning from fried rice with chicken. In summary a very badly managed place with a dangerous pool area and lousy food and unskilled staff. We do not recommend this place. Stay away!

The hotel is exclusive It is situated in the middle of rice fields. It has a super nice pool area. Be prepared of the service in the restaurants pool and the main restaurant is extremely slow. The cappuccino machines are not working properly. It took forever to get my omlet, and the buffet was not restocked in a timely manner. In my opinion, it is a matter of training the staff properly. They seemed stressed and forced the traditional Thai smiles. A good knowledgeable manager is needed.

It's a 4 Star Hotel Resort near the national heritage of Sukhothai. It's built very nicely into the area in a Lanny style. It's a very relaxing place with a fantastic swimming pool.

This hotel was awesome! It might a 4-star in rating but it is 5-star with everything else including service, location, cleanliness and rooms. It is very close to the Sukhothai Historical park which is a must do in Thailand. Their pool is awesome and their massage was excellent and relaxing.

A terrific resort I can honestly say I am fortunate to have stayed here. A lovely property, meticulously maintained, it's set up as a cluster of villas and historic buildings in a garden setting, directly next to one of the historic Wat chedi that is outside the walls of Sukhothai ancient city. Full size infinity lap pool, lotus pond, poolside cafe, full dinner steakhouse, and full service spa are just the extras dotted around the complex each in Thai style buildings, connected by covered walkways surrounded by lush gardens. It definitely has a luxury wellness retreat vibe to it. The open lobby and the ruins are filled with local furniture. I can't say enough about the friendliness of three staff..I had greetings and smiles from literally everyone including the gardener, spa staff, cafe staff, and front desk team, all helpful and seemed genuinely pleased you are there. The bed was comfortable, the walk in shower was large and the bathroom products were part of the collection used at the spa. Poolside cafe was open until 10 pm, and had a wine special when I visited. I had coffee and cake in the afternoon, a sparkling water with lime, and a tropical coconut yogurt smoothie during my stay. My reservation came with a breakfast buffet server on the terrace outside next to lily pond along the steakhouse building. Tasty food included hot and cold Thai specialties, fruits, bakeries, juices, tea and coffee. The only downside is it's slightly further out than other resorts.. But by "father out" I was still able to walk to the entrance of the historical park in 25 minutes down the road side into town. I would come back again to stay here and plan two or three nights, be a little less tourist intensive at the historic park ruins, and mix in time at the pool or spa or walk into town for a local restaurant and back here for nightcap. A real gem - thanks for a wonderful stay.

Rooms, pool and gardens are lovely. The restaurant is quite limited and very hit or miss, surprisingly even the Thai food. They have bikes to ride, but first come first served, no reservations. The spa wasn't amazing but was pretty, seemed clean and treatments were nice, so well worth a go! We upgraded ourselves to a villa and aside from some hot water issues, we enjoyed it.
