Im not reviewing the mousqe but the markets around it. Suli market. Streets and streets of local market selling everything you would like. And the booths changes with time. They sell clothes in the morning then local food in the evening and everything is cheap.

The Grand mosque of Kak Ahmadi Shex “مزگەوتی گەورەی کاک ئەحمەدی شێخ” other than being a spiritual place for muslims to pray and worship God there, is a historical symbol of the Sulaymaniyah city. It was built in 1784. It contains the graves of the family of Kak Ahmadi Shex alongside his, which is open to tourists and other yearly intended visitors. The legacy of provision of Shex continous by providing over 2500 meals on a daily basis. I enjoyed the place both as a mosque and a touristic historical place. The large yard inside was fantastic to sit and watch other people and pigeons, as a calming exercise to the mind and soul.
