Me and my friend just finished volunteering here. It was one of our best choices we got so far. They have a lot of cats, each one better than the other. The staff are so friendly, and they love the animals so much. They let you feel that you are more than welcome there. The work there is not that hard and you have a lot of time to spend with the cats. Long story short, there are not a lot of places that touch your heart in such a short time, and Daniell Cheetah Project is one of them! And I will use this platform to say again to all the staff thank you so much for this adventure, I hope that I will be able to come back for long time.

Our tour guide was well informed and shared a wealth of interesting information on the animals in their care. The shop is an experience in itself and the food is good and priced for locals. In fact nothing is priced at the inflated tourist rates. Worth the visit.

An undiscovered jewel in the Eastern Cape! A small farm โ€œdorpieโ€ with a friendly and chilled environment. Admission charge very reasonable and The shop had some awesome pies and refreshment snacks as well as plenty of beautiful hand made curios and they were really at give away prices! Our guide, Jandrรฉ was very informative, both in terms of highlighting an animalโ€™s history but also explaining why they do and donโ€™t do things. The kiddies loved the play area and petty farm with all the various animals Such important work is being done here to maintain the endangered cat species. I would definitely recommend this experience day trip if you in the area. Itโ€™s only about 70km east drive from Nelson Mandela Bay. Definitely worth the drive! #DaniellCheetahProject #kirkwood #cats #farm #roar #adventure #familyfun #easterncape #madibabay #portelizabeth #memories #savethecheetah

It is overall an amazing place. The staff is friendly and polite. Everything is moderately priced and they have something for everyone. The tour is well thought out, professionally executed. The guides know what they are talking about and they allow you to ask any questions and they always have a comprehensive answer satisfying even the most curious minds.

Myself and my partner from Ireland were here today and could not recommend it more. We arrived at 1pm and were informed that the next tour was at at 2pm, we had a smoothie in the lovely cafe while we waited. Jandria our tour guide was absolutely amazing. His passion and love for his job and for the animals was so evident and his knowledge on each cat was incredible. We learned so much and both said it was the best day we have had in South Africa yet.

Shop looks nice but after just missing a guided tour time by 15 minutes due to road work delays, I asked if there was any possibility of an exceptionโ€”ie: can we jump in late or just see the cheetahs without a full tour. I had, after all, made this one of our destinations, driving from JHB. (We didn't know there were fixed "tour" times; the website is actually not clear about thisโ€”FYI owner) A young woman, not even looking up from what she was busying herself with, replied curtly "nope". Did I spend even 30 more seconds in that shop? Nope. South Africans. Some of you just don't get it. I grew up here and that kind of dismissiveness is appalling.

A nice outing for the whole family. A guided tour for an hour. Lots of rescue animals to see for example Caracal, Serval lion, hyena, leopard, cheetah and meany more. A very safe environment for children of all ages. The guide are well-trained and explain everything in detail. A big playground for the kids under an enclosed net with a lot of birds. The shop have a big variety of souvenirs to remember the nice day or just for a present.

Even though the explanations were nicely given by a guide, this place feels old fashion and sad for these animals that should clearly stay out in the wild. Tight heart all along. Iโ€™d recommend going in real game reserves/SANPARKS where they have much more room to roam.

Daniell Cheetah farmstall do have a wide variety of gifts to choose from if you need to buy gifts. From home made jam, knifes, t-shirts and lots more! You can also order a light meal from the menu and pay a fee to see the cheetahs with a tour guide.
