Been wanting to try out Jakarta for many years and finally made it to the restaurant this evening. It did not disappoint. Many Southeast Asians (including myself) & Indonesians visit this restaurant, this means a good sign and the food is authentic. My partner and I ordered rendang, cah kangkung, pecel ayam and dadar gulung. They were delicious, taking into account that there's limited choices of Indonesian restaurants around, this place is worth visiting also a good start to introduce authentic Indonesian food to your friends. I have tried another so called Indonesian restaurant in Södermalm but the food has been modified to suit the local palate, so it was a disappointment to me, but not Restaurant Jakarta. Restaurant Jakarta serves authentic taste of Indonesian food and is so much better. We would definitely come back again to try other dishes.

Get a bowl of Soto ayam if you want an authentic Indonesian food. The taste was still similar with what I had in Indonesia. No adjustments made in.

A few days ago, We were there for a dinner. Balado kentang & krupuk was so nice, balado daging was sooo spicy even for my indonesian tongue. And big portion of Nasi goreng will make you full enough for 2 days for me 👻

Delicious original Indonesian food in Stockholm. You can enjoy the taste that you missed in Indonesia. Indonesian Jasmine tea is definitely just like a light version of 'teh tubruk' , bihun goreng is just right, soto tangkar betawi is spicy and nice, gulai domba and cah kangkung are tasty, pecel lele makes you full.

Went for my birthday celebration. Very well balanced flavours for all dishes tried, especially the fish and seafood stew. Service was also quick and excellent. Would recommend for others to try.

Didn't quite know what to expect, but this place serves as authentic Indonesian food as you could hope for, which is quite a surprise in Sweden. Tons of flavour, very tasty food. Missing a lot of favourites, but with so few proper Asian restaurants in Sweden, this place is well worth a visit. The prices are also quite reasonable for the kind of quality of food they serve.

As far as I know the only authentic Indonesian restaurant in Sweden, Restaurant Jakarta. Such a nice surprise to visit again after sooo many years only to find out that the taste and quality have been greatly improved. More authentic. I was so pleased with the food that I felt sad when it was finished, only to taste it longer. Not even because the quantity wasn't enough. The service was nice but it was very busy so we had to wait quite some time before we could order. All in all we had a great time. And again, returning in April 2022 the experience is the same. So thankful for the good experience. Highly recommended.

I tried the Indonesian dishes by my colleague who is an Indonesian. The food in this restaurant was exactly the same as what my Indonesian colleague offered me. The spice and source were so authentic that I even ordered twice. Definitely will visit again.

The food was very delicious and the dessert too. I took the Ayam woku manado, the chicken dish and the Indonesian pancake. The restaurant is very small but cozy. Prices are a bit on the higher side.

Great and authentic Indonesian food. Soto ayam was a favourite of ours, but every dish we took was very good. The location is not very fancy, but the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very delicious foods and friendly service. Quiet atmosphere makes a cozy dining experience. Price is cheap considering portion and food quality. One of the best meals I have ever had in Stockholm. Definitely need to come back again later.

I liked how the menu was constructed: each dish comes with well detailed description. I had Gado gado, which sounded quite interesting but turned out to be rather bland. A big disappointment! On the other hand the avocado smoothie was really good. The restaurant was cozy and service nice. We booked on thefork and got 30% off the food bill.

Great vegan food, I had the spring rolls followed by vegan curry. Good service.

I had high expectations of this place but came away quite disappointed. The good was surprisingly bland - Cuts of meat with little flavour paired with a sauce which had some spices but not much else going on. It was all quite uninspired and dry.

Delicious food and cosy atmosphere! The restaurant is nicely decorated. Good prices. Was hard to decide what eat so will have to go back to try other things on the menu. The dessert pancakes with coconut were delicious and could become a favourite. Nice and friendly service!

👍 We were a little late and they had closed, but we could walk around and look. This is one of the biggest O'Learys I've ever seen. Typical interior with furniture and color patterns. It will probably be fun to eat and watch sports at the same time. Really looking forward to do it.
