Had a very wonderful stay here. The receptionist guy who usually on the afternoon shift is full of energy and very friendly vibe. ✨☺️ the room is so clean and quiet, love the color palette as well. top notch service, got an upgrade to the studio room! 🌸🤍 the breakfast was also important point; lots of fresh cut fruits, various choices of pastries, smoothies are fresh and a great addition 🥐☕️ . I love that there is free coffee and living room, as well! unforgettably wholesome stay all over. Now we know for sure where to stay next time we stay the night in Stockholm

Hotel is clean and nice. Standard room is quite tight but for night is quite ok. Sad that no.possible to open window and also air is quite dry in rooms. Breakfast is very ok, tasty and there is possible to choose meal for you. Outside there is no much place were to go also no food market in near area. If you have some meetings in Solna I would recomend this place. Thank You.

Cozy hotel with small rooms but very good facilities such as a well equipped gym, small sauna, relaxing living room. We stayed here for 3 days in two double bed rooms. The rooms are quite small, have a small bar and a modern bathroom. We liked the entire design of the hotel. The stuff was always friendly, helped us with requests and was very attentive. The breakfast is one of the highlights serving fresh fruit, veggies, cheese, different bread, yoghurts and cereals as well as Swedish local food such as kødbullar and cinnamon rolls. One thing to improve: In the pictures of the gym, there are gymnastic rings shown but they are not there. Please either change the photos or place them in the gym. PS. The hotel is close to a big and very pretty park, so pack your running shoes ;)

Our stay in Gio was a random pick, mostly chosen by the ratings and the reviews. We have had a lovely time, the rooms are a bit outdated or oldfashioned - I am used to stay in more modern, but that is just me - otherwise the hotel is clean and tidy with the very polite staff and ambience. The highlight for us was BREAKFAST! We are breakfast people more than dinner people, but this was heaven! Everything you can even think of .. the only downsize is coffee. What is served at the breakfast, is not coffee, just the black water with very bland taste. This is not even possible to call it a coffee. The regular coffee - espresso, etc. shouldnt be charged as extra, that makes a little bit of sour feeling of the whole - otherwise - great experience. We have had a lovely one night and if possible, will be back.

I had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic hotel, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The room we were upgraded to was not only spacious but also exuded a wonderful ambiance, making our stay even more enjoyable. The convenience of traveling to the city center ( bus stop infront of the hotel) was a major plus allowing us to make the most of our time exploring. The hotel's location in a safe area added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. A highlight for us was the delightful breakfast offered. The variety and quality were commendable, and I highly recommend it to anyone staying here. Overall a superb experience that I suggest to fellow travelers. 5 stars!

Lovely hotel, stayed the weekend, very stylish room, clean and comfortable. Staff are helpful and breakfast is perfect, loved the pancakes! Short, easy walk to train station and then 7 minutes to town. Had a great weekend thank you! ☺️

This hotel is great! Comfortable, safe and close to airport. Just a heads up that it is a bus or taxi ride (or an 80 minute walk) from the proper heart of Stockholm, and there are no kettles, baths or nice views in the rooms.

Just had one night here but everything as great. Clean room with a comfortable bed. The breakfast selection to choose from was amazing. Located near Solna Station, from where you can get to the city center in less than 10 minutes

Stayed for 3 nights during our Stockholm vacation. Very good value for money as we managed to stay all together in a room of 5 (double bed and 3 bunk beds). Though not downtown, buses 57 and 515 stop right outside making transportation rather straightforward (used the SL app for buying and storing tickets in our smartphones). Clean and tidy. Breakfast was included and was good, though a bit crowded with tourists. All in all, a reasonably good choice.

This hotel when you walk up to does not look inviting. However, the hotel was busy with nationalities from many different countries and all age groups. The breakfast is good and it has a lot of facilities like a laundry room. You need to book it but I think people just use it. There is a sauna and a gym. After a day of sightseeing you can relax in the coffee room. There is free coffee and tea. This is a very large room and lots of families playing board games. The bus stop is about 4mins walk and costs 1 euro into the city. You can also catch the bus to the airport from the opposite side of the road. Check Google maps. Do not catch the black coloured taxi from the train station it cost us 44 GBP. The streets are safe and we even walked to the local supermarket. It was a bit run down, but safe.

Breakfast buffet is amazing with lots of options! You could have the authentic Sweden meet ball and pancakes every morning XD oh and they got 3 different flavors of yogurt to choose from! Their living room is quite spacious and very comfortable;) nice for family vacation

Highly recommended. The design is modern and the rooms were neat. The breakfast was really nice. The staff was very helpful and nice. It is located outside of city center and there is no metro station nearby, but the bus station is right outside and the local transportation is really good.

I spent a wonderful week at Hotel Gio, I wish I could have stayed for another week! This hotel had everything I needed, it really felt like a home away from home… My room (602) was a good size, with a large comfortable bed, wardrobe, mini safe, dining area and kitchen, bathroom with a large shower area. Everything was spotless. The bathroom had toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, body lotion - and the towels were soft and thick, it felt luxurious. The kitchen had a sink, kettle, fridge, microwave, hob, crockery, cutlery, pots - everything I needed. I could connect my phone to the TV to stream programmes and films from my streaming service. The hotel has great amenities all included for guests: luggage room, self-service laundry room, gym, sauna. I requested a packed breakfast one day because I needed to leave early: it’s quite small and restricted (see photo), so I wouldn’t take this option again. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of cold and hot food (I particularly loved the home made granola!), plenty of friendly staff around to keep food topped up and clean the tables. The reception staff were also very helpful and friendly. The location is a little far from the city centre. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, but I found bus 57 to be unreliable (delayed or cancelled). I was travelling during rush hour though so I guess very dependent on road traffic conditions. The metro is more reliable but a longer 10-min walk away to Solna. There’s a big Westfield shopping centre near the Solna metro station but is another 5-10 min walk. There’s a really massive highway right next to the hotel so traffic noise is high, but tolerable - I am a light sleeper and always wear earplugs and I slept well. Haga park is a minute walk away from the hotel and was really beautiful with lots of greenery and a large lake, great for going running or walking or sitting! I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Stockholm.

I enjoy this hotel. At first glance it seemed to me a old fashioned hotel, but in fact it has updated facilities. Very kind personnel at front desk, restaurant. Charger for electric cars (2 for guests) and nearby other public stations. Very close to a public park, highway to Atlanta or Stockholm downtown. There is a but stop almost in front that came from or to airport with a direct bus. Close to some small restaurants, groceries small store and business centers in Solna.

Very good services. It was a good time spent there! I've appreciated the cleanliness, the fact that the staff is open to almost any requests and the breakfast has plenty of choices, including vegetarian ones.

Got there a bit after three as the check-in started but the room wasn't ready. Front-desk guy weren't interested even to say sorry. Promised us that he will come and call as when it is ready but forgot. Card system was really wierd, elevator was old. Rooms were good, a bit small for 6 people but we managed. Breakfast was very good.

Nice hotel with good facilities. Super friendly and helpful staff. It has a gym and sauna. The breakfast is generous and has a lot of options. There is a royal park (amazing) just across the road.

The room was small then it was perfect, everything had a place and it was ultra clean. Also the beds are super comfortable, slight floating feeling. Luxury soap too, Botanical. Service was perfect, staff is great, kind and professional. The breakfast was hands down the best buffet ever. Think everything was fresh and real, smoked turkey, fluffy eggs, fruit and Bröd. And it's was included in the rate. I was surprised, I've been to a few places for breakfast. As for location it's 10 mins walk from everything, train, mall. Park and bus stop are right outside. Take the 57 bus to downtown. I was pleasantly surprised.

Our room was amazing. Check in shouldn't be later than 23.00 otherwise the doors would be locked on you. The hotel is also near Hagaparken and directly in front of the cemetery.

We went to the Beyonce concert in Friends Arena, therefore booked Gio hotel. It was such a pleasure to stay there- Gio has a very nice bar and a dinner place- so trendy and cozy. Also breakfast was very good - very broad choice, they had even ginger shots included in the breakfast offer. The administration was so helpful. Thank you for making our Beyonce trip more memorable!

After visiting Stockholm for numerous times, I find GIO only this time as everything was booked out around the city center in the weekend. But, after staying here, I must say we both are so happy that we are sure next time whenever we will visit Stockholm, we will book this place again. The room was super spacious and surprisingly, it came with a mini kitchenette with all basic utensils. There bathroom had very good amenities including body lotion (just think about it). And, guess what, the lobby on our floor had an ice dispenser that I could never think of at any 4 star hotel. Apart from these, the breakfast was great, parking and reception service was super easy and the location is very good as well. Good job, Gio.

I would really recommend this place! Although it isn't located in the centrum of Stockholm, you can easily and quickly get here by bus or train! The stuff was ultra friendly and the breakfast was very delicious! Room was clean and the mattress very cozy.

I wasn't expecting much from the hotel because we got it cheap. As a family of 5 it was hard to find an hotel in Stockholm centre at the last minute. We got a cheap deal and it wasn't so bad as there is a bustop right in from of the hotel so we got to the centre just fine in 6 minutes. The kids loved the extra room with bunk beds. The room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast. I did find it odd that such a large hotel had so little sitting area for breakfast. The staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again 😊

Room is clean, not small. It's enough to put 3 persons luggages, got chair, small table. Beds are ok. Breakfast is good with many choices. There is big living room for all hotel guest to rest. Sauna and Gym open daily. I get my room when I reach hotel about 12noon, no need to wait till 3pm. The staffs are helpful. It's a bit far from subway station. Need to walk about 15-20mins to Solna station. There is one bus stop a few steps away from hotel.

Stylishly decorated decent size and clean rooms. Breakfast was below average and poor selection of warm drinks. One thing distracted us was having room cleaning knocking door around 9 AM every morning for asking us if we want to leave so she can clean the room.

Very cozy hotel room and really comfortable beds. There is a fancy restaurant close by called Mazati, and another cheaper option Chinese restaurant in the area. Then there is a path to the famous HagaPark of Stockholm close by.

We have travelled to some European countries as well as others too. But This Hotel seemed unique in many ways. The staff were very cooperative always , cleanliness was excellent, ambience was overwhelming and food was good too. We found it very thoughtful from the hotel to provide as with a breakfast kit for those who need to check out early before the breakfast time...and ours was far earlier check out at 4 30 and as promised they were ready with our take away breakfast kit. That was an unique we havent experienced in any other hotels till now. The Living Room facility, the rooms all were cosy and well maintained. Walkable distance to bus stop was also an advantage as well as near by Malls and food outlets. We highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

It is an ok hotel, but definitely not a 4 star, as they claim. Rooms are nice and clean, the hotel itself is quite worn. Very crammed and crowded breakfast area, some simple things often missing (e.g. no towels in a gym, no wifi in the whole hotel, etc.).

I booked for my family here for vacation (3 rooms). A few things fell short as there wasn't a water kettle in the rooms for 4 and 6 people (but seems to be available in others). Some members had to leave early in the morning for an early flight and were not able to even get a packed breakfast even though concierge was informed. The reason was due to delayed bread delivery, yet they didn't receive any other breakfast items at least.

I stayed at Hotel Giò in April-May 2022. Meant to leave a review at the time but ended up getting distracted. This hotel is absolutely fantastic. The rooms are nicely decorated and quite comfortable. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. I know the hotel has no control over this, but the other hotel patrons we interacted with were also quite friendly. The second best thing about this hotel is the location. If you aren't renting a car, this is a fantastic choice to stay. The hotel is located right next to a bus stop that will take you right into the heart of Stockholm. It's near a convenience store as well for snacks and drinks if need be. We tried a couple of restaurants nearby, and while none of them were amazing, they were all decent. The best thing? The breakfast. Not even close. Oh my God, this BREAKFAST! I would pay to stay here just for the damn breakfast!!! The only downside of the breakfast is that it will ruin all other hotel breakfasts for the remainder of your life. So many delicious options, fresh cut fruit, and a nice coffee/tea bar with good selections of milk and teas. I have never been so excited for a breakfast waking up every morning.
