Loved their food. They have variety of non-vege and vege food. The service was fast eventhough there were lots of customers. Highly recommended.

One of the best Indian food cooking in Rawang. The restaurant has aircon and non aircon sitting. The food are full of spices but not too chili hot, just at the acceptable level to my taste bud 👍👍👍 I took chicken varuva and goat stomach 😅 with 2 vegetables. Surprisingly the stomach is well prepared, well cleaned without uneasy smell 👍. Vade freshly fried during lunch time. The texture and taste of Vade is acceptable 😄 Recommended ✌️

The place has very much improved, many choices of food. But quality has to control Asked Gee Thosai, but I left eating Oil, Ask suku mali tea, with very less sugar. I only taste sugar.

THE BEST Indian restaurant in the vicinity of Rawang, Selayang & Batu Caves! Very large variety of dishes available for lunch. Pleasant ambiance, air conditioned seating area & reasonable prices.

I used to stop by this restaurant whenever I came across Rawang. They never disappoint with the variety of lunch options. Vegetarians have many options available to them. The food is delicious, and so are their drinks. Excellent service and really satisfied. Prices are reasonable as well. I am glad to be a repeat customer ☺️

Good variety of Indian food. Vast preparations of both vegetarian (vegetables, tafu sambal and mock meat) and non-veg (fish, chicken, mutton) lunch hour can get a little busy and parking can be a slight task. Line up in the restaurant and ond of the many annehs behing the counter will serve you (they will put the food in your plate according to your choice) 5 of us went for lunch and had lots of dishes (refer to picture) and a few drinks and the charges were Rm58.50 which is reasonable considering the amount of food we had (3 or 4 plates of chicken, tafu sambal, vege rendang chicken, vegetables in personal plates) a few glasses of teh o ais limau (iced lemon tea) and ais kosong (iced water) as well. Try their rasam and enjoy the delicious food in an air-conditioned portion of the restaurant (open air seating available) Haven't tried their breakfast yet.

Nothing to shout about. The owners are quite brute in their service probably cause they cater more to the brute working class. This ghetto joint has been around for sometime and dishes out decent indian food if you're looking for one. Customer service is down the drain from business owners though.

This is one of the famous in Indian restaurant in the Rawang area... The service is okay... Improvements can be done when it comes to serving and giving the bill. Otherwise, the price of the food is affordable... Cleanliness wise, you can't expect more than okay! That's it!

Very disappointed with the food, puree, chapatti and rawa thosai were tasteless, the food presentation was really out, as though we were there to eat for free, even that is totally wrong thinking. i have not seen this bad service in a indian restaurant before, i will never go there again. Felt cheated with the 4.1 rating in the google. Totally over rated ☹️☹️😔😔

This place is dear to my heart because it has everything you would want from a Malaysian eatery. It's cheap (rm5 - rm10 a person) and well-lit. The food is good and the service is prompt. Someone will ask for your order before you even get the chance to take a seat. Most importantly, it's clean. Would come back here over and over.

Nesan Curry House offers a mixed experience when it comes to their culinary offerings. While the snacks are delightful, the fresh milk tea leaves much to be desired. Starting with the positives, the snacks served at Nesan Curry House are definitely worth a try. The variety and taste of their snack menu are commendable. Whether you're in the mood for crispy samosas, fluffy pakoras, or spicy vadas, you won't be disappointed. The flavors are rich and authentic, providing a satisfying treat for your taste buds. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring you get your money's worth. However, when it comes to their fresh milk tea, the experience falls short. The taste is underwhelming, lacking the robustness and depth one would expect from a good milk tea. The tea itself is not as flavorful as desired, and the milk-to-tea ratio seems imbalanced, resulting in a rather diluted and unmemorable concoction. Despite the disappointment with the fresh milk tea, Nesan Curry House does offer a decent selection of snacks that make it worth a visit. It's advisable to skip the milk tea and explore other beverage options available at the shop. Overall, if you're in the mood for tasty snacks, Nesan Curry House has you covered. However, if you're craving a satisfying milk tea experience, it might be best to look elsewhere.

This restaurant has drastically improved in terms of food, atmosphere, renovated recently and love their tea time options. The curry puffs were good and their vadas are excellent. Parking could be a problem sometimes but I recommend parking at the back of the shop as its near the ktm station and walking distance.

Food taste delicious sometimes & sometimes average. Price is affordable. But very little space. Sometimes you have to wait for so long to dine in. Hope they can come up with a solution soon.

Delicious food.. should open up the hall to accommodate more people. Obviously lots of them are coming there to eat. It isn't comfortable sit there and eat while people waiting over your shoulder for the seat.

Follow SOP...mask on top of your nose...be more hygenic. Too cooked vegetable ,beans type undercooked.. spice mostly not accordingly well..stomach can be upset..Sambar avarage, Fried chicken ok..fish out..varuval or peratal average..price ok or still acceptable. Kuih stall too pls follow SOP or do marking for customer to follow.. the flour you're using is absolutely cheap and oil please change accordingly..kuih look attractive but not nice once bring home or not hot anymore.

Went there after lunch time, they still had some food, we got rice, dhall, chicken varuval, tauhu Sambal and fried bitter gourd. Good is delicious and still fresh. Very reasonable price. Limited place to sit as it was still crowded after lunchtime. Bru coffee is also nice. They are also selling curry puff, vadei, bonda, kollu katte, wajid in front of the shop.

Good restaurant with wide varieties of food , and prompt service too. However the tea served when seated outside at the non- Aircon section is far different than the tea served in the Air- con section. It wasn't as strong and aroma if you order from the non- Aircon section. Hope the management will improve this tea matter.

This restaurant is pack with indian customers, since its an indian food. But the only thing is their foid quality is not consistent, sometime taste good and sometime like crab.,maybe its because of the demand since its the only indian testaurant which serve the real indian curry taste, only thing is the taste is not always good, sometime you do upset for not gettting the same good taste as first time, which make you go back.

Excellent chutney with vadir. Love their poori and Masala Tea with fresh cow milk. I found sediments of spices at the bottom of my cup... They use fresh spice.. Yum Upon that customer service is perfect. Toilet is clean as well.

GOOD : Food are nice here.. The uncle selling, Vadai, Bonda, Sundal and nasilmak is so delicious. BAD : Employee's forget to serve us drinks that we ordered. Even reminded them two times but still they failed to served us. It's shows lack of their services quality. During payment we cancelled the drinks, and informed the owner but he doesn't care about our complaints. We left the shop with disappointment.

Nesan has been around for at least 20 years in Rawang, if I recall correctly. They were one of the first South Indian restaurants to open here. The food is pretty good. I don't think I can find any specific food related problems. However, I do wish they'd keep their food item well stocked. Due to their customers, they seem to run out of South Indian favorites rather quickly. I couldn't get my idly and iddiappam at around 9.30am as they had finished it. Car parking is hazardous in this area. Plan your parking. Typical noisy atmosphere. Try their fish curry.

  • 4/5 Unetha B. 1 year ago on Google
My favourite eatery in Rawang. Their curries are flavour bursts, their queue system has improved after the renovation with ample seating spaces. Two notes, appalam/papadoms are add ons, would be better to provide at least one per plate of rice meals. Secondly, the traffic for sink in air conditioned space could have been better with two soap dispensers and more faucets.

First, the worker (bold old man) who stands at the main entrance to sell snacks (kuih) is not talking respectfully to a customer. Not treating the customers nicely keep shouting and talk irrespectively to customers…. Food is not that taste 👅……. Taste of food not recommended ❌❌❌❌❌ THAT OLD BOLD MAN NOTHING INSIDE N OUTSIDE OF HIS HEAD………

This place is nice and subtle.Outside, you don't see much but there are more seats inside with air conditioning. The chairs are also quite comfy. Now, the food is not bad either. The curry is nice and overall, a good place to eat. The price is not bad and it's in the 75% cheap and 25% expensive range. Overall, score out of 10 for me is 6/10.
