Nice bed but noisy as we can hear music coming from the pool area. Nice bathroom but toiletries are like from budget motels. Does not reflect its status. Good thing we always bring our own soap. They only give the small one inch size soap. Parking was good.

Overall a good three star hotel and the room I got was very spacious. Room wise it’s good but the toilet and shower needs improvement. Breakfast was included but it was so-so, pool area was nicely maintained and had kids pool as well.

Attended 2D1N Leadership retreat at this hotel. Good deal for the group package (5 meals per day). Food was tasty but under prepared for our group. Late comers found no more food left.

First time staying here, all and all, it was a pleasant experience. The pool was huge, great for kids/family. If you come on the weekend, the hotel will sell some finger food selections for you to munch by the pool for RM10 per serving/plate. Room deposits have to be paid by cash, please make sure you bring extra cash for it. The staff were all helpful but my check in experience is a bit flustered and due to this, I have to come to the lobby the next day as my room card won't work. She did not update the card access accordingly and I was having issues during breakfast as I booked the room for 3 but the cafe records only showed as 2 pax. My room was at the opposite end from the hotel lobby, quite a bit of a walk to check in/out and to their cafe for breakfast. But they have few lifts and another entrance from behind. If you're bringing elderly, make sure you drop by the main entrance to check in first and drive to the back entrance so they don't have to walk that far.

Location is great but sadly service is horrible. Stayed there 5 nights but they only changed my towel n cleaned the room once! Even after requesting! Hope the management can improvise. They have TV in the rooms but it doesn't work even with free channels. So basically I dont know what I paid for? In a nutshell they need to hire those who really want to work!

Took Connecting room for 2 nights, with an extra bed. No BABY COT/CRIB available. Which is weird for a hotel that target children as they have kids pool. Pool is nice. Breakfast not so yummy but can do. Room is big but can pass as 2-3 star utilities. Tho it is newly renovated, they use cheap furnitures with sharp edges and i find it distasteful. But the lobby is nice. Many eateries nearby

Being here because my husband had stayed here during his outstation. The room is big enough if you bring 4/5 persons but need to order for more mattress. The pool is super huge and got a mini pool for kids. No need to drive for dinner, you can just walk to the nearest restaurant which located in front of the hotel. There are a few restaurant, you just choose what you like

The environment is good.. for family holidays. The pool was nice but i think the kids pool need some maintenance. The slides were so rough, not so smooth. Another thing the furniture quite old. And the toilet not so clean when i checked in. The door knob also loose. Not convenient. However it was a comfortable stay. Just certain issues that should be given attention. That's all

The hotel is located around town area but with not so hectic traffic. They have their spacious area of parking in the hotel compound. They hotel consists of a cafe shop, swimming pool, lobby area, function hall and computer for you to use. The room is big and comfortable. The room is clean, equipped with chairs and table, iron and stand, kettle, safe, mini refrigerator, water heater, hair dryer and toiletries. The hotel included breakfast for 2. The cafe serve local food, such as nasi lemak, char koay teow, noodle soup, omelette, bread, half boil eggs, fruits and salad. Variety of choices available. A nice hotel to stay.

Amazing staff extremely helpful and polite, and I look forward to coming back soon, excellent security staff reception, I just can't speak highly enough, and great for families. Also security were happy to open the gym at any time out of hour's, what can you say great hotel especially for the price.

You will be greeted by a Walmart version of a hotel concierge. Imagine walking to register for a local community event, and there's someone with a foldable table and a white cloth waiting for you. Yes, exactly like that. If you're looking to pay more for the quality of a flat house, then this is the hotel for you. The room design is uninteresting – in fact, there's no design at all. The toilet is basic, akin to what you might find in an ordinary apartment. Unfortunately, my water heater isn't working, so I'm stuck enjoying cold baths while reflecting on why I chose this hotel. The pool looks dirty, and I noticed some workers performing maintenance, carelessly leaving a grinder on the floor without any safety measures. I have many more comments, but overall, paying RM189 for this level of service has left me with numerous regrets.

The rooms is big. The aircon is cold, the heater is working. The water pressure normal, not too big not too small. The room got chair, got slipper, got a very nice place to sleep. Worth to come, they have good maintanance on the hotel. Although it is 3 star, but they have a very huge and big swimming pool up to 4.5ft. They enough for a lot people to swim in 1 time. Not congested.

Worse hotel ever . This place is crawling with cockroaches! Kids screaming and running on the corridor from 7am . Despite multiple calls to the reception nothing was done . It’s better to sleep in a bus stop than this hotel !

I really used to love swiss hotel.. This stay was so disappointing.. When I arrive I wanted to iron.. Iron board was broken.. Waited so long.. more than 30min.. Called so twice cause I was rushing for a event. Took the board and say wanna repair. Then took them awhile to realise.. to give me a new one. Yesterday the toilet bowl had issues.. told the receptionist too.. Today toilet bowl can't use.. cause the tissue they using was flusing in.. to hard and cheap quality.. that it will not larut in the water. So I had stomach pain.. took them more the 30 Min to repair it. Basically on a Sunday.. There is no Manager... no hotel manager... no one working .. Staff don't care.. Housekeeping don't do follow SOP in releasing the room.. I paid for a defect room? How sad.. Seriously will not stay here anymore.. Will not support ur hotel anymore.. Staying at a motel would have been cleaner in sp. One more thing.. breakfast. We were standing to get the table cleaned.. Took a while to clean.. Took the plates.. but never wipe the crumbs left.. I had to use the tissue and wipe myself. Sad and disappointed.

There were ants and mosquitoes in the room, towels and sheets were stained. Shower head was broken but maintenance came and changed that. Overall, not a pleasant stay here. They only cleaned our room once during our stay, when we stayed for 4 days.

Been a few times here, still one of the best hotels in Sg. Petani . Huge pool (freakin love the pool!) and variety of foods during breakfast. The room is in excellent condition, comfortable and its also easy to access to mall, stalls or restaurant since the hotel's location is nearby with those facilities.

The hotel has a very convenience location which is nearby many places like shopping malls, restaurants, and others. The room also provide quite space and clean toilet for me. Not a big fan of swimming but having pool is an extra. Overall is nice for people visiting Sungai Petani.

Option of breakfast buffet are limited but taste not bad. Polite staff and well security. There are big animals statues for you to take photo

Room, toilet & the furnitures was a bit rundown like an old hotel. Understaffed. Most of their staffs look stressed out, maybe it was during Eid season? Limited parking, no basement parking at all, happened to be we arrived at night when it was stormy & rain cats n dogs, really really difficult specially when it came to dropping off a senior citizen under a really small porch during that heavy rain. Perhaps need to extend the porch? Breakfast was so-so. Omelette station was horrible. The only good things is their huge swimmingpool.

I love what he serves and his pool is really big and for more outsiders who do not stay at the hotel can also take a shower but have to pay a bath price of only RM25 but if you stay in hotel You can already take a shower directly don't have to pay what because the pool package is already in the hotel. Besides that, there is also a gym room for sports activities... Also there is a sauna room

While the hotel looks dated but it is actually very contemporary and clean. The room is also very spacious and comfortable, though a renovation might go a long way. If you get your room with breakfast included, you wouldn't regret it. The food choices are plenty and delicious too.

Alright place for a short stay, nice pool and food. However rooms and relatively old and not well maintained. The room i stayed in had a faulty phone, dirty stained kettle, cups with milk powder residues, dirty floor and smelly blanket. Only the bathroom/shower was newly renovated. Thank God they had decent housekeeping service and attended to my requests. Room cleaning service is very poor and needs improvement.

Pro for staying ample car park, local Malay food, swimming pool is big, room is surprising huge for the price. Clean linen and hot water. Air conditioning is good. Quiet atmosphere. Con: cannot prepare well to cater for big group, slow housekeeping for the room. Non adjustable for cool shower, no WiFi inside room. Lift near the ballroom broke down one time. So we use staircase.

The lobby was still under construction. There was only one counter and super2 lambat. Kitaorg kena sidai at the lobby for 45 minutes. Supposedly, we booked a room with a living room (4 beds) but they switched our room with a room with only a queen bed (for 2 people). They brought in extra 2 beds with bad quality 🥲. Overall, bad experience with this hotel. I'm not sure y they're opening up their hotel if its not ready yet 😑😑.

    - Front Desk doesn't seem to be ready to work.. too many waits and glitches - No bellboy - Security man very courteous - Spacious room - Door has no spring or stopper.. a few times it slammed so hard and loud on the wardrobe door - Door security is good.. but window was left unlocked (and can't be locked) - No lock/latch on door to/from adjoining room.. looks easy to access using simple tools - No laundry bag - No towel hanger in bathroom or hooks to hang shirts/pants - No day curtain - Poor plumbing/placement of bidet/tap/floor drainage in the bathroom. Sink was clogged. Toilet tank took too long to fill up. Flush was not working well - WiFi not working well - Cafè was only open for breakfast - Breakfast spread was basic.. okay - Bread section had a few types of jams and spreads but you had to request for butter! - Saw dhall gravy.. but there was no roti - No labels on all food items - Corn-on-the-cob arrived about one hour late - The big-sized man from the kitchen was very polite - The staff manning the cafè entrance was not attentive. I purposely walked in very slowly, then paused for a few secs, still he did not look up. After I was inside only he called (from behind) "Encik, encik, encik!" - When we were leaving the cafè the person was there but did not even look at us! - Cafè was stuffy and dim. AC was only switched on at 7.45am. Then the person also switched on a few more lights - Breakfast on 26/9 was much better.. but the supposedly 'light' music was so loud - There's only one lift at the main block where reception is (not sure about the other blocks). - Staff assisting our check-out (young Chinese man) was very polite and professional.

Maybe the wifi is slow and bad in some rooms but if the management wants to do well they would definitely keep Angus on as a permanent long-term staff. He knows how to do hospitality. Of course, the tattooed malay senior staff lady who knows chinese is definitely also a huge plus, albeit a tad hostile. Overall a great value-for-money stay, their service is really the best in the area. (Pro tip: their breakfast rotation menu across the 4 hours constantly includes half-boiled eggs which are quickly snatched up, so queue for those). Disclaimer: Some communication issues between different shifts (use a group whatsapp and not your own piece of paper for managing guests), but as you can see nothing warrants less than 5 stars from me. Bad luck there was a family day event so there were many children running around at the pool and events at night till 10+, but it ended before 11! Spacious rooms which can house 8-10 people EASILY, top up for the beds they’re worth it. 纹身马来女士会中文 不用怕沟通问题 服务无失 10/10

First time I gave 5 star for hotel for some reason. 1st : Friendly staff 2nd: Friendly environment 3rd : Swimming Pool ( The best part) 4th : Large room for two person 5th: Great food I’m staying in sungai petani but as stress relief I bring family with 4kids just to enjoy the environment and swimming pool. For weekend usually the price increase rm30 to rm50 depend to the room but the best part breakfast free for 2 person. My room normal price rm169 for weekend rm199 deposit rm100. Breakfast I add rm8 for each kids. If you don’t wish to stay and just want to use swimming pool per adults rm25 and per kids 20. Swimming pool open 8.30am till 7pm. Enjoy your stay!

I unable to check-in to this hotel due to health emergency. I informed Agoda regarding this and they were very helpful. I was disappointed with the hotel's management who was not concerned about customer care.  They didn't have the courtesy to call the customer, query his/her absenteeism on that day or suggest date amendments in case of emergencies such as this. I benefited nothing, I lost money and failed to enjoy the vacation. This is my personal opinion and I hope the hotels in general will review their cancellation policies for future improvements.

It's very strategic located in the middle of Sungai Petani town and easily accessible to all important places around the area like shopping mall, convenient stores and government offices. Highly recommended to all the people's who are interested to visit Sungai Petani . The hotel has a very nice room and provides quite great services also a public swimming pool are provided.

Room are big and spacious. Booked the family suite. Only there is no housekeeping coming to the rooms to clean up in interval days. Breakfast options could be improved also.

  • 3/5 Chester J. 1 year ago on Google
I booked a family suite with a king size bed and two single bed, the toilet and bathroom are separate, the bathroom basin water runs out very slow, they should put a basin in the room, so people showing, others people can use the basin outside. This hotel room come with breakfast, I went to have my breakfast at 9am, and nothing was left for us, very poor management.

    1. We booked a quad room that was supposed to come with a bathtub, but when we arrived, the hotel staff claimed we needed to pay extra to upgrade to a family room in order to enjoy the bathtub. Since it was Chinese New Year, I didn't want to argue, so we just paid for it. 2. We ran into a friend who was also staying in a family suite and found out that we actually paid a lot more but got a much smaller room, even though it was the same room class. I asked the front desk why we got a smaller room, and finally, they let us move to another room next to my friend. 3. The best part is when we got to the new room, we noticed a funny smell in a certain area. I was so naive that I thought the smell was coming from my kid's shoe, so we moved the shoe to the balcony and went out for a dinner appointment. 4. When we returned from dinner, the smell was still there. Since it was late, my husband decided to stay the night and complain in the morning. In the middle of the night, my husband heard sounds coming from the ceiling above us. He realized there were rats running around up there, and the bad smell was actually from a dead rat. 5. The next morning, my husband went to complain to the front desk, but the hotel management denied knowing about the rat in the room. My husband demanded to change rooms, and by 2 pm, we finally moved to another room. 6. We couldn’t believe that a supposedly reputable hotel would have such a problem with rats in their rooms.
