I was highly dissatisfied with this place. It should NOT be a 4 star place. I feel it is more like a hotel/motel. I spent about $900 for this stay and I was miserable the whole time. There was nothing to do unless you had a lot of money in your bank. The food was not good tasting at all. People were playing loud music that I could hear in my room til past midnight. I can hear everything through the walls and ceiling. The pool was closed for reconstruction. I bought breakfast vouchers and you were only allowed to pick 1 preselected item from the menu. If you ordered anything else you had to pay $15 and up. What good were my breakfast vouchers since I have dietary restrictions and couldn't have anything on that preselected item. I lost the money I paid for the vouchers. Oh, and the best part was the roaches in my room. When I called to complain about the roaches, all I got was "I'm sorry". No other assistance. If I would have left this hotel, like I wanted, I would have lost my money. They don't give your money back regardless of their wrong doing by allowing the room to be filled with roaches. I will NEVER come back again!!!!! It was not a good place to be. Ruined my holiday weekend. I am completely stressed out and I came here to relax!!!

Dreadful experience. A/C had leaks, wet carpet. Wouldn't give us a discount or anything. Paint coming off, they don't clean your room. They had free package reception but charged us regardless of following the guidelines on their website. Bathroom was super tiny. I would NOT recommend. Bad place to stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed! While the rooms may be older models, they were clean and comfortable. The pool area was absolutely stunning, with a brand new pool and a trendy bar. The location on the beach was perfect. Plus, the VIP velvet parking was a nice touch. I highly recommend booking directly on the hotel's website for a free 4th night and two complimentary drinks at the poolside bar. Overall, a fantastic stay!"

It brings me great sadness to leave this review as my family and I have been coming here for over 20 years. I have fond memories of this location but the management/rule changes over the past few years has left me speechless. Here’s my list 1. Room cleanings come with a charge now? 2. The pool was closed and being renovated, but as the weekend rolled around it somehow became usable enough for the weekend crowds. 3. There were no pool toys allowed because the renovations were not complete and the “engineer” said the toys would affect the integrity of the parts that weren’t finished? (Why is the pool open if it’s not fully fixed??? $$$) 4. The people working here are nice but they just deflect responsibility to an imaginary third party and expect us to be satisfied with it. I personally didn’t have an issue with the amenities or prices due to us being in one of the nicer suites, but as someone who has been coming to this hotel since the hotel was the biggest one in the strip to now, I would advise anyone looking, to look elsewhere. Granted if you’re coming here because it is the cheapest now, then just expect that when you arrive. And for the icing on the cake just read the other reviews, their response is literally cookie cutter. They don’t care :(

I chose this location because I'd been here before in the past, and I KNEW the ocean view was spectacular. However, there have been several changes and not for the good. I'll start with the pros: First, staff were very helpful and prompt with addressing our concerns to the best of their ability. Second and mainly, the view and location-HANDS DOWN, GREAT! The smell, sight, and sounds of the ocean are so soothing. As a registered nurse who works MANY hours, all I wanted to do was rest and relax with the wind on my skin. If the other "issues" are addressed, this would be my perfect location. SO now, let me get to the cons. Upon arriving, even prior to the 4pm check-in time, valet parking was already full. No problem, we were instructed to park in an open lot across the street-which was also full. That was an inconvenience. Once in our room, we noticed how outdated and dirty some of the furniture was. The love seat couch was pitifully dirty and stain covered as were the carpet. Still, we pressed on. Once we enjoyed our view, attempts to lock the patio door were futile. The lock didn't work, and it wasn't until morning that we were able to have it repaired, so we spent night 1 unsecured. Good thing we were on the 7th floor, I guess. Day 2, we ventured out after our patio door was able to be secured. Upon return late evening, we noted our wet/dirty towels still on the bathroom floor-even though new rags and towels had been placed. No prob-but when we went to move said towels, there were roaches in the bathroom. NOW I was ready to go. We do not live with "critters," and nobody wants to take "unwanted company" home. Upon reporting these issues to the housekeeping supervisor, she was agreeable to cover the terribly dirty couch with a clean sheet at least, replaced our coffee cups, took the dirty towels but said there was nothing she could do about the roaches. There was no microwave in this ocean front room so we had to eat cold leftovers which ultimately ended up in the trash after I saw the roaches. When they DID bring us a microwave the following day, it didn't even work. This was hands down the WORST vacation experience I've had in a long time. The only thing g that could make it any worse would be bedbugs. Save your HARD EARNED money and don't visit this location. I'm utterly disappointed!

The only thing I liked about this hotel was the location. Check in was super slow. Even though I know rooms were available. The elevators were almost always broken. I can't even count how many times I hiked seven floors every single day. Too many people on two small of a property. But the location truly was excellent. Having designated loungers by being a guest was also super nice. The pool was warm and the outside bar was nice as well. But the room was nothing to write home about. There was hair everywhere, the room smelled like smoke and was unbelievably dirty. I asked one day for the maid to come late, and they ended up never coming the entire week. We were there. One time I saw maid in the hall and asked her to please clean our room, to which she replied: I don't clean your room. It's somebody else. You'll have to find them.

The location is amazing but only because we upgraded for an extra $60/night for an ocean view room. The room was not good at all. The service was descent. My wife and I got here early and the staff was very helpful. They got us in early without any trouble. My issue with this place is the water was suddenly turned off for the entire day without warning. When calling the front desk they rarely answer so I had to come down to find out they forgot to tell me about the water being shut off when we checked in. You can hear every single conversation happening outside of the room. I thought people were talking outside of my door but they were half way down the hall. The room itself was not the cleanest. This was supposed to be a nice relaxing weekend away for us and there's no room service. Not a huge deal but even the holiday inn has room service. The balconies are nice but there's no privacy so you can watch and listen to everything your neighbors are saying and doing. Overall I will not be staying here again.

We truly hate to have to leave a poor review, but unfortunately, this was not a good experience.😢 Although we saw that it’s undergoing renovations, it is not as it was pictured on the website. It’s dingy, looks unclean, and very old. There was even a ROACH in our dresser🤢, The carpet was stained with cigarettes, and the whole place was just nasty. The hallways smelled like weed. We booked for the offers advertised for 15% off their on-site restaurants and bar, as well as a complimentary room upgrade if available. We called multiple times ahead of our stay to confirm these offers would be available to us. Unfortunately, no one on staff would honor the 15% off advertisement at Coconuts or Cappuccinos.🙄 (EXCEPT ONE EXCEPTIONAL EMPLOYEE - Sebastian! He was awesome!🤩) We let the staff know at the restaurants that we had the 15% off upon booking, but they acted like they had no idea what we were talking about. We would go to management multiple times to ask them, and they’d either act like they also had no idea, or tell us all we need to do is give the restaurant our room number. That didn’t work as the restaurants still acted like they didn’t know what we were talking about. 🙄 We called management, and they did not help us at all. We just kept going back and forth and never got our discount.🫠 It was extremely frustrating because we spent so much money to stay here and the food was extremely overpriced. The other frustrating moment was when we were told that we would get that complimentary upgrade upon availability. The day we arrived, we were told that an upgrade would open up the next morning. So, we came back the next morning, and then the management told us that we could get the upgrade, but we had to PAY hundreds of extra dollars for it. How is that complimentary?🤣

Horrible place to stay. Room was dirty on check in and commode would not flush. Noise from hallway came into the room along with the constant singing from the elevators. It says no cleanings during stay but came back to the room and found housekeeping inside our room even though we had a do not disturb on the door. Pool and valet parking were closed which was not disclosed when hotel booked. Self parking is across the street and there is no security and parking lot filled up quickly. They only had 3 handicap spots which were always filled. Not a good 4 day stay at all. Only nice staff was the bellhop.

Unfortunately, I couldn't give it fewer stars. I stayed here for 3 nights, and when checking in, I was told that a $75 deposit per night would be put on my card to cover incidentals. Then, I was notified that the hotel charges $25 per night for self parking, which is across the street. There was also a $29 resort fee per night. Lastly, there is an additional $13 for taxes per night. Those hidden fees were deducted from my deposit. 3 hours later, after my initial check-in. I asked if my room was ready and was told no. I waited another hour before following up and was told my room was still not ready. I then asked for a manager. After asking for a manager, the lady then told me my room was ready they just didn't have a number on file to call. 4 hours later, I finally received a room. It was outdated, only had 1 TV. I was told the room was being renovated, which is the reason the second TV had been taken out. Why would you put a guest in a room that's being renovated? The one TV that was in the room had no signal for a 1 1/2 day. The elevators didn't work. We had to carry our luggage using the stairs. I could go on forever on how horrible this hotel is. I highly recommend staying somewhere else.

We stayed here in January. The hotel was a little older but the location and price are great. The pool was being renovated which was disappointing but other than that everything was great. The beach is gorgeous and they have a really nice restaurant at the pier which is a very short walk away. We ate there several times. The staff comes out to the beach and will get your drink orders. I would definitely stay here again. I’m hoping the pool will be finished soon.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Highly dissatisfied with this place. This place is more like a motel. Just like the last comment mentioned, people were playing loud music in their room all day and night aswell as yelling fowl language. We could hear everything through the walls. The rooms are very out dated and the toilet in the room screamed everytime you flushed it, the shower could not be adjusted to run any hotter or colder. The secondary door lock was busted off the door frame and the pool was closed for reconstruction and was never mentioned when booking the reservation. The main lobby is the only nice looking part of the hotel. Only thing good about this place was the location, we liked that it was right at the pier. After the first miserable night we chose to leave to try and salvage the rest of our vacation and were lucky to get a room at the sole hotel. We definitely do not recommend this resort at all!

My experience wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. They give a price when you pay online with a deposit and a remaining balance. But when you arrive you remaining balance is almost $200 extra with these hidden fees they don’t tell you about. The room I was in wasn’t what it look like online when I booked, nice luxury room up to modern standards with new bed, lamps, wall decor, beautiful shower. Total opposite! Look like the episode of the Martin show when he took Gina to “Chilligans Island”. The furniture was old like from the 70’s, nothing in my room was up to modern standards. The pullout couch look like they found it on the side of the road. The chest dresser and nightstands where so old I felt like I was in a Goodwill waiting room. The headboard look like it was made by Boy Scouts in a arts and crafts class. The bathroom doors and cabinets paint was scratched and peeling. The restaurant that was on the website showed a minimum of 4 but only one restaurant was available inside. No pool was available, construction going on, couples getting stuck in the elevator. My room key I had to replace 3 times do to not working. The associate manager Orlando was very nice when I needed some assistance. But I didn’t let that unexpected experience bother me because why make the situation worse than it was, I was there to relax. So me and my wife made the best of a dis-tasteful experience. The experience was to funny to complain about it, so it is what it is.

Overall good experience because of the location. Half the outlets didn't work, but we made it work since it was one night. Rooms were out dated, but not too bad. The beach is awesome and right behind the hotel. That is the best part of the hotel. A great experience because of that. When we got back from the trip, I saw a $28.25 fee. I called and the hotel said that is the hospitality fee and said it was not hidden. It was not included through the online booking (3rd party) and apparently it was one of the 2 page initial all over paper work at the hotel. That would be a hidden fee. The hospitality must be for the lounge chairs that we didn't use. That was a bit of a sour taste on an otherwise decent experience. Watch out for hidden fees. We didn't park there, but that would be another $25 a day. Just FYI, enjoy your time there, but plan on paying more than you thought when you booked. There are 100 reviews saying similar. It wouldn't be an issue if they were more upfront with their fees.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Newport! While the hotel is a little dated, it is apparent that renovations are underway. All of the staff was really friendly. We we checked in, John hooked us up with a couple extra free drinks as a "happy birthday". Even as we were walking down the hall from our room to the elevator one of the housekeeping staff pushed the call button for us so we didn't have to wait on the car. We would definitely stay at the Newport again!

Absolutely loved our stay here. The location is perfect. The hotel is under renovations however, that did not affect any part of our stay. The staff were friendly and inviting. The rooms are a bit dated, but again the hotel is under renovations and honestly, we did not spend much time in our room for it to really bother us. We enjoyed ourselves so much we will be returning customers.

So I believe the hotel is under renovation so all in all it was a decent experience a pretty good stay. It was nothing to be wowed about. The heated pool was a nice touch. Fire pit was nice and you’re just on the beach that’s about it. The rooms are definitely outdated , Spacious which was good. Just need some updates.

After several years of being away from my favourite hotel in Sunny Isles, as they were undergoing renovations on both units and pool, I finally made my way back and I’m really grateful that I fell into hands of such excellent supervisors and managers that handled guest services. Both Myra and Nicole accommodated my reservation with excellence in customer service. There were a few glitches that had to be overcome and in return we got such warmth and attention to such a degree that they created a trust element that only people who love their jobs can do. When we return to the Newport it will be because of these two wonderful people. We are also thrilled with the new pool renovation and are excited to see the new lobby!! The Newport has put a smile on all of our faces and gave us an amazing holiday.

Great location which is why I chose it for my wedding. However, was it worth spending $16 grand to stay there and do the wedding there, NO! My reception and ceremony rooms had water leaks from the ceiling which made the rooms smell horrible! Not to mention the paint and carpets in those rooms are out dated. The hotel is supposedly “smoke free” but hallways and some rooms smell like weed! All the rooms that have carpets smell like mold, my room 1104 had a beautiful room, better decor than the other but we had a roach and drawers didn’t work! I had family and friends stay there, 3 of them had issues with the showers starting to run at 1am (see videos), as well as EVERYONE (including us) kept getting locked out of the room! Not to mention the elevators broke down and worked so slow! Only positive thing I’ll say is that Conrad and Vladimir (employees) were the best thing that the hotel had. They took an YEAR in remodeling the pool, they haven’t finished the balcony in the Atlantis room (1 of the ballrooms on 3rd floor), and they haven’t even started on remodeling the room because the people can’t make up their mind! Owners I really hope you are reading this because your hotel needs to be checked for mold, and FULLY remodel it or sell it to someone who will do the changes you can’t!!!

If I can get them zero stars I would. I am beyond upset at my stay there. From the valet, to checkout. Horrible. They over charge for a room that is outdated and dirty. I paid for a King size bed, didn’t get that. We had blood stains on our sheets, the floor was filthy, the elevator took 25 min to get on. The ladies at the front desk were not very welcoming. I have 2 charges from this hotel stay. I am beyond upset, never EVER again. The only nice thing was their pool/bar area, other than that it was a HORRIBLE experience.

Rooms are outdated. Some mold inside one of the cabinets, shower/tub didn't work properly, carpet was old and dirty. Hallways smell and are warm. No shampoo, conditioner or soap in the rooms. Air conditioner did work well and kept the room cool and dry. Tvs worked well and main bed was comfortable. Pull-out couch was NOT comfortable in the least. Refrigerator and microwave worked and were nice to have. Pier is right next door and very nice for an evening walk.

Our expectation is granted and receive a big military discount. The room was clean and huge, with a nice city and ocean view. The sunrise was an amazing view from our room. All the staff are nice and very accommodating. We had some issues in the room but these were addressed by the staff (don't remember the name) who transferred us later that night to a bigger and better room.

I cannot stress how bad my experience was at this hotel. If I could give 0 stars I would. First off we werent greeted, our greeting was the valet guy saying $35 literally no hi, how are you nothing. The pool however was the worse experience ever. This hotel felt more like prison rather than a relaxing vacation. Securities are constantly walking around looking at all your stuff to see what they can scold you for. It felt like harrasment. They would go around asking for wristbands over and over like hello im on vacation leave me alone. I used to come here all the time but never again will I book newport. At checkout they charged me the hotel fees 2 times to the card I booked with and the card I provided during checkout. They also tried charging me for valet and self parking where I only ever did valet. Horrible experience stay away from this place. Also so many people left the pool area due to the securities being around scolding for literally just anything. If someone from the hotel management could contact me because the security issue is unacceptable

The best experience in this area. All the people is very smiley and helpful, the best beach the best swimming pool! The best view.. Just perfect - and believe me I am nervousness and not very pleasant client… but I love it! So much! All of the receptionist, safeguards, beach guards, and guests also like one family✨🏅⭐️🇺🇦

The only decent part about this hotel was the location. The rooms are extremely outdated. They penny pinch and overcharge for every little thing. The elevators barely work. Our room was so nasty, the carpet, the curtains all were gross. We booked a room with a balcony and got a regular window view of the side of another building. We needed to checkout late, the website says it’s $75 but the front desk told us it would be $150. The pool closes at 10pm which is okay but they also block the guest from going to the beach at that time as well. We walked to another hotel and was able to go to the beach but couldn’t get in our hotels gate. Our fridge stopped working on day 2 which ruined all of our food on our 4 day stay. They did not offer to compensate us in any way. Please just stay elsewhere!!!!

I booked a 3 night stay for Father’s Day weekend for my parents. Upon arrival, the valet attendant was beyond incredibly rude! He even tried holding my car keys hostage!! The check in process with Ashley was great. She was super friendly. Unfortunately they sent me to a room that was already occupied! After a second attempt, i finally got the correct room and i was genuinely disappointed. The couch looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. Garcia was incredibly helpful and made things a lot more smooth. On the first night here a fight broke out at the pool and the cops were called! For the location and the amount of money that was spent i had better expectations. The room advertised on the website is underwhelming in person.

Can I give this place 0 stars? We have 3 tvs and 0 work. The staff outside was rude and they don't have parking on site. They charged me $25 per day for parking on top of the room fee and I had to park across the street. No valet available. The hotel is old and is under construction. The kids park and pool are closed/ under construction. Everything has been terrible and they blame it on the weather. Surprise. I'm a Miamian, this IS our summer weather - nothing extreme occurred- and absolutely nothing should be interrupted. Annnd it gets better. Our sheets and comforter had BLOOD STAINS.

Our stay “ended up” being awesome. We traded off our 2 bedroom timeshare for an ocean view room to come here a few years ago. Like others have said, it needs a major update. The room they originally gave us was terrible. Musty smell, outdated and in seriousness need of updating. We complained because the room was not ocean view and not what we were told we’d get. Their timeshare crew took care of us and we got a poolside room. That room is amazing. Walked right out into the pool deck. Got our unlimited Mai Tai’s at the awesome pool bar every day. Beautiful beach in North Miami Beach. If they would just update the rest of the rooms there wouldn’t be many complaints. Staff was friendly. We had the all you can eat Whole lobster at the restaurant (not sure if they still do that). Incredible! Gym is good too. We would only go back if we got the same poolside room. I was checking now to see if they had updated they updated their rooms. Looks like they have not. I just don’t want to chance trading my timeshare and end up in one of the other rooms. Other than that, out experience there and in Miami was incredible with this hotel, Art Deco culinary tour in Miami Beach and another culinary tour in Little Havana. Fix the hotel and we will be annual visitors from Orlando.

The hotel was nice, we had a great view of both the city and the beach. The bar is way overpriced, $50 for a shot of tequila and two beers off tap in a small plastic cup. The carpet on the halls smells like mold and pee. Also killed a bug in the room, it wasn’t a roach but still a big bug. They run out of towels quick.

We got a partial ocean view room and the view was amazing! The bed was comfortable, and the room even had makeup remover wipes, which I had never seen before in a hotel room! The service was great and everyone was friendly, including valet! The beach was so conveniently close and lots of things in walking distance, so great location! Definitely would like to visit again in the future!

Please turn down the music!!! Please, it’s not spring break. The room though dated was nice and comfortable. One of the last standing hotels of its era. Nicely redecorated hotel lobby. Wonderful hot showers with good pressure. The front desk was busy and professional and not exactly friendly but professional and one elevator is out, so long waits for the elevator and the key cards don’t work which is frustrating going up and down to the front desk. The pool staff and beach guys very friendly and helpful. We so enjoyed sitting out on the balcony listening to the lovely sounds of nature then the music blast from 7:30am-10 ish pm. Really unnecessary at that volume, especially for families that come. Sorry to say we won’t be back unless they put the music down to lower levels for just the pool use. I went out to the beach trying to escape the music but you have to walk far away to just to hear the ocean. Also agreed the sofa bed is hard but as a couch comfy. There are some nice restaurants within walking distance. So a relatively nice stay and would give a 4 and a half/ 5 star if not for the music. So if loud music doesn’t bother you it should be a great stay for you.

My credit card was charged every day with some amounts. We were checked in into horrible room and refused. We had to do an upgrade and paid $45 per day for a different room #704. That room had cockroaches!!!!!!!!!! Manager at the front desk said that it is Cockroaches season!!! :-) We had to move out after 2 days of insane stay there. What kind of service is this? Your beach is charging $20 per umbrella? This is not a hotel and your service is horrible. Please, try to travel yourself some other locations and you will find out for yourselves.

We have stayed at this resort three times before Covid prior to October of this year and a lot of things have negatively changed since the pandemic. First of all, I tried contacting their Guest Sevices prior to arrival to get some information about activities in the area. Orlando Perez, their Guest Service Representative took my information but never followed up with my request. During our short stay, we were highly disappointed by how unclean this resort has become. We saw cockroaches in our room and in the hallway a few times. Also, there is a new beach rule and they completely lock all the gates at 10:00 pm with no signs posted anywhere. One night the water was, so warm so we swam past 10 pm and had to walk all the way around on the street to in our wet bathing suits to get back to the hotel. I am only giving this resort two stars because of the nice view and easy access to the beach. I hope that this entire resort gets renovated and issues like insects get eliminated.

I checked in late at 3am I was told there was only 2 rooms available because of a wedding although I booked a month in advance and thought I was reserving a certain room. Then he tells me it’s $150 hold when on my reservation it said $50. He then ave me two wrist bands and my room key and said good luck. I had no idea on the amenities or breakfast etc. I went to my room and was so upset. The room was so dated. The couch is disgusting and would never sit on it. It’s permanently stained with white and black spots. I looked at the bath tub and it’s peeling with brown stains that will never come out. The heat didn’t work as I adjusted the thermostat. The tv were both broken because it won’t connect to their wifi and no live channels are available. I went downstairs wanting to switch to a clean room and I was told it was just one other room available. I went and checked it literallly got worse. Stains on the sheets, dirty tub, dirty couch, tv don’t work, and no heat. I told the guy at check in and he said the manager would be here in the morning and how basically the whole resort is complaining because of NO TV and HEAT. I tried calling the manager and the voice mail box is full. This was birthday vacation and it’s basically ruined because of this outdated broken place. I don’t want to stay here I have only been here for 5 hrs and I’m crying. I spent over 300$ at this place to be unsatisfied. I’m praying I can just leave and go somewhere else.

The check in process was lengthy due to having to fill out a form with information I already provided online during the reservation process. The air conditioning system was loud and disruptive in the room. The ocean view of the room I reserved was actually a view of the parking garage next door. You have to go out on the balcony and look left to see the ocean. During my stay it rained for a few days but the rain was also coming down inside the elevators. The morning of departure the elevators were down and no one answered guest services, bell hop or operator phone numbers. I struggled down 8 flights of stairs with my luggage and no one was available at the front desk to assist with check out when I got there.

Great resort with private beach. It has a pool, bar (overpriced drinks) and restaurant as well as a small gift shop and small shop of snacks and espresso coffee stand type drinks. The rooms are a smidgen outdated but the rest makes it all worth it. We had a 2 bedroom suite to share with friends and it was great. Rooms have fridge, TV & microwaves. Big jetted tubs but no USB plug spots for charging so bring your chargers. Beds are comfy. Very laid back property. The lobby even has some beautiful little birds in cages. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was fantastic! We had great communication and even upgraded our room to get a balcony. Whenever we needed something it was quickly at our door. The beach is beautiful and the pier is an extra treat. The kids enjoyed the pool and quickly made friends. Beach towels are provided so that saves you room in your suitcase. The rooms were nice and we had a sliding door for some privacy from our kids on the other side. Everyone was friendly and the location was perfect. There is shopping, restrooms, and grocery very close by. We hope to make Newport a regular vacation spot for our family. Thanks for making our planning a breeze and our stay a wonderful relaxing vacation.

I went back in February of this year (2023). I was highly disappointed, I grew up coming here as a kid so I thought it was a nice idea to book my first ever stay as an adult in this establishment. When I first walk in everything looked nice with the room, my partner went to use the restroom and there was poop on in the toilet already. After that little accident we went to change for the pool … the Pool was closed and under construction, there was no mention of this in there site when I booked. 300$ one day stay and It wasn’t at all a pleasant stay.

The rooms were ok, but it had a mildew smell, and the hallway carpet was visibly soiled. I sprayed disinfectant to get rid of the smell. The lobby furniture had stains. The location directly from the beach was awesome. However, to get good American cuisine, you have to drive to neighboring cities other than Sunny Isles. Two couples I ran into had the same issue, but there were plenty of other cuisines (except American) the resort. There was a Starbucks, Burger King, McDonald's, and Outback restaurant nearby, but I expected more choices. I gave the location a 3 rating for the beach access only. The pool was closed the first two days that I was there and was under construction. One of the young ladies at the front desk was rude, but mostly everyone was nice.

It would be great if you were advised before check-in that there is no pool, no Tiki Bae, no beach cabanas, no on-site parking, no room service, and no housekeeping, and the private beach access is a facade as the doors remain open 24/7. We had to go to the front desk and request towels, and toilet paper and had to sign absurd agreement forms denying and compensation for all the things you were not being provided that were clearly advertised. To show up from out of state and be told only at check-in is horrible! Furthermore, our jacuzzi tub was pretend! It looked like the real deal; however, when we tried to turn it on we discovered there were no controls. When I asked the front desk if there was a trick to turning it on. They told me "Oh yeah those have never worked." Some things you are required to agree to include: No balloons No extra large speakers at the pool If you get a pool towel it must be turned in by 8 pm or you will be charged $10 per person. No discount requests due to excessive noise from workers. No discount request for lack of amenities No housekeeping so necessities can be requested from the front desk staff only. You can park your car across the street in a semi-gated self-serve lot.m for $30 a day. I call it Semi gatd as it only had a fence on 3 sides and was easily accessible by anyone walking by at any time day or night. They had a restaurant on-site; however, you were required to have a reservation also not advised until we tried to go eat. But you also have to book your reservation 24hrs in advance. Finally when I went to check out 3 days early and obtain my receipt I was told to write my information on a scrap piece of paper and someone would contact me to confirm I was not overcharged and be sent an itemized receipt. That was July 24th and nothing has been done but the Full cost of the entire week I Did not stay there, taken out of my bank account. I will say the views were beautiful. But hardly worth the exuberant amount of money charged for misinformation

This place is disgusting. Very outdated, rooms look like a 70s time capsule. There is absolutely no sound isolation, so you can hear absolutely everything that goes on in the room next door - and you will hear a lot of crazy stuff. Carpet is a mess, wifi sucks - so much interference that it's unusable. Chromecast on the TV? Don't even think about it. Service at the restaurant sucked, they had a single waiter to serve the whole restaurant on a Saturday morning. Food, drinks and everything else is overpriced but that's the norm for Miami. Now the worst part is the crowd, very ghetto, uneducated and low class. Expect to see people walking around shirtless in the lobby at all times, drunks, loud, tasteless music and a lot of cursing in every other room at 4:00 am. Complaining at the front desk is pointless. The beach behind the hotel is nice but that's the only thing this place has going on for itself. Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars at a nicer place.

Overall, it was a decent experience. Location was definitely the highlight - beachfront access and the room we stayed in on the 6th floor had a decent view. No noise issues outside some hallway chatter like some of the other reviews. Was a little disappointed the pool was still under construction and the beach bar was closed as well - that was part of the draw for me to book here. Overheard some employees talking that construction will be completed in 2-3 years - so if this is what your lookin for, just beware. The room was a good size, bathroom was ok (jacuzzi jets were off due to the construction), and overall cleanliness was good. Couldn’t beat the price, would most likely come back after construction is complete.

While being able to sleep near the beach is a great plus for this hotel, That is about the only positive thing we can praise about our stay. During our 3 day stay or room remained untouched by room service, our Key card kept getting de-magnetized locking us out of our room on numerous occasions, and the pool remains broken something we found later on that has been in this state for several months Also, be extremely careful to read the fine print as we were charged an extra 110$ just for staying in our rooms and for the existence of a broken and unusable pool All in all, we enjoyed our stay despite these numerous setbacks but needless to say this is not a hotel to come back to

Me and the family went to celebrate my Nephews Birthday. We had an issue with the room, advised front desk and within minutes we were moved to another room with a better view. The pool is big and heated. They also have a kiddie pool and a playground on the sand. Both rooms had a living room area with a pull out sofa, kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink and microwave. The beach is within feet of the pool area, I highly suggest to stay safe and to keep within the shore as rip tides are strong. The area in general is nice and safe. The hotel is nice and clean and the service is top notch. This was our first time here but won't be our last. I highly recommend it.

This Resort is right on the beach! Loved walking on the beach and swimming in the moonlight in the ocean. Great restaurants in the Resort. The swimming pool was fantastic! Our balcony had a view of the pool and bar area along with the ocean. You have to call the night before to have your room serviced. Lots of great restaurants with in walking distance. The pier restaurant has the best Rack of Ribs. GIANT! Loved this Resort!
