My friends and I got a 2 queen bed and a pull out bed for the 3 of us, there was No bed sheets for the Pullout bed, the pillow case was not washed, and the blanket was not clean for the pullout bed. When I asked for a pad at the front desk, they gave me an attitude about the first pad is a freebie, but if we wanted more, we have to pay extra. With a kind understanding attitude, We would of respectfully understand, but with their rude racists attitude at the front desks, we didn't want to talk to them anymore.

My friends and I stayed here this past weekend and I can say it was the worst experience ever. Front desk staff was rude & wanted to charge for tampons & when asked & only gave a few as “complimentary”. They then added “if you want more you will be charged extra” with an attitude! I mean wow that’s the first ever… & that’s crazy. Front desk lady threw the tampons and pads on the desk as well while giving it to us. Another crazy thing was that they weren’t willing to bring it up to our room either and didn’t even instruct us to go and grab it too, how would we have known??! The rooms looked clean at first, however we found baby diapers behind some of the drawers and was gross, made me think if they even clean the rooms and looked thoroughly or not. Beds were made kind of messy, didn’t enjoy the beds nor the pullout couch bed plus it was dirty. Other than that, their AC & breakfast staff was the only nice part. Don’t stay here unless you want the same experience.

This is a fantastic hotel with lovely staff who do their best to make your stay enjoyable:) The rooms were clean and the beds were super comfy. Great amenities with a pool and hot tub. Check in was painless, even at the last minute! It is in a good location, right next to a steakhouse with mouthwatering steaks! Best of all was the cocktail hour with free drinks and nibbles, it was a great point of difference and we loved the vibe. Would definitely stay again :) and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Had room 220 and the air never got below 75 degrees. They did give us a fan, but still made sleeping hard. Room was dirty with stained lampshades and fluid stains on walls. Bathroom was very small. The breakfast was very good. Pool area is very nice and roomy. Hallways were very warm while we were there.

Beds are comfortable, linens or white and clean. Lots of towels, room was big enough bathroom very small. To me a suite should have a bedroom with a separate bath. Carpet needs replaced but price was okay 160 something for the night. Staff was great, breakfast was fabulous they even have 2 drinks of choice and snacks from 5:30 to 7 free of charge. I would stay again

Stayed here two nights. Check in was easy and staff was very helpful. We had a calamity at the airport with one of our bags and needed to do laundry the night we arrived. The facility was easy to use. Breakfast is served on the same level as the pool and we chose to eat poolside. Overall very satisfied with our stay. Fun perk, the welcome to Wisconsin sign is right next to the hotel parking lot.

We checked in and discovered a filthy room with stains on the couch, hair in the sink, and clearly hadn't been vacuumed. We asked for a different room, and to our dismay, dog food in a corner, more stains on the couch, a stain on the bed. We checked out and asked for our money back. Do not stay here! I hope Best Western pulls the franchise from this hotel!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Pool is great and the hotel even provided balls and pool noodles to play with. Some rooms are 2 rooms connected by a hall way which is great if you have small kids with early bedtimes. Great for families. Only complaint is the road potholes which the hotel can't control.

Price is pretty high for what you get, which I think is entirely to do with proximity to Duluth. The TVs are useless for anything but cable TV, can't plug in any modern devices because they don't have HDMI inputs. Climate control takes hours to make any noticeable change to the room temps, at least it's really quiet. The service desk people were nice. The pool and hot tub are standard.

An average hotel providing basic service at a reasonable price. They do allow pets which I wish I'd have known in advance. Free breakfast each morning is included in the room rate which is always nice. If only they would enforce some type of dresses code because the day we checked out we were subjected to an obese family in various states of undress or pajamas in the eating area. Lost my appetite.

Door had gaps that were see thru to the hallway. Walls are paper thin and can clearly hear any conversation or TV in the rooms around you. Pool area was good but you don't want a poolside room as you'll hear the hum all night as well as the employee dragging the chairs and tables around. Very loud and notice sleep was had. Breakfast was your typical items.

The streets are pretty beat up getting here, the exterior looks a bit run down, staff was great, friendly& helpful, and the rooms are really nicer & big. The only issue is I am near the back door so I can here the traffic on the hall going in and out at all hours. That's on me, I could have been a pain in the a$$, but I just kept the card I was delt. Good breakfast (different everyday) and who can complain about a happy hour.

The staff here were really kind and cheerful. The rooms have been painted, they've installed new furniture, artwork, and carpet which all looks good. The pool area and breakfast area were immaculate. Make no mistake, this is not a brand new, trendy hotel so if that is important to you, you may not be happy here. Nevertheless, like I said, it has been nicely updated inside. Also, the location is great! Definitely would stay here again.

I don’t normally write reviews for hotels but I feel like I have to. I come to superior often for work. I normally stay at another hotel but I liked the pictures of the pool area so I wanted to check out this hotel to see if I would switch. First Stay: Upon entering the hotel the front desk person was not warm and welcoming and didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. I understand it’s work but it is a customer facing role. I checked into my room and it was filthy. There was all sorts of dirt and hair on top of the bedspread! See photos. It did not look like the room was cleaned. I told the front desk about it and they got me a new room. The room was better so I didn’t complain, but it was still kinda gross. There was dirt on the floor and there was spilt coffee drops on the bathroom counter. The bath tub is old had mold and the curtain looking outside was broken. The toilet made noises the entire time. The wall thermostat won’t change from 74 degrees it was very warm in the room. The pool area was warm and the hot tub has crazy water jets but it was relaxing. The morning staff members were lovely and very helpful when I needed to print something. Second Stay: Two Days Later: Unfortunately I couldn’t cancel my this stay because I agreed to a no cancellation policy. But the front desk staff was very nice and my room was clean. For both stays, I stayed on the second floor by the pool area. Kids were playing in the pool until 10pm (kid curfew pool time) which was no big deal. But at 1:30am I was woken up by some men hollering and goofing off in the pool area. They weren’t swimming but they must have been hanging out for a bit before going to their rooms. Then I was woken up at 7am to a group of kids screaming in the pool. It echoes so loud. If you value your sleep, do not bother with this place. So I had two less than ideal stays here and I will never book here again. You should probably deeply consider if this hotel is for you before booking. The stay and beds are much more pleasant down the street at another large chain hotel.

Almost $200 a night and was very disappointed. Had to ask for a shower curtain, Had to ask for toilet paper and my husband fixed the toilet so it would'nt run all night. Bed very uncomfortable. Second night our key card would'nt work so we had to make another trip down to the desk for a new one. Water pressure in the shower and sink was terrible. Cleaning staff were very nice and over worked because of no help. ( which is NOT their fault) Wont come here again

I would give this hotel a much better review if it weren't for the fact that they were having construction done on the roof. All day during during both days of the stay we were subjected to Dangerously High decibel noises right over our heads. It sounded like the ceiling was going to come down on us. They were fixing something on the roof. With this level of construction and dangerously High noise the hotel should have been shut down for this type of construction or at the very least warned patrons at the time of booking about the construction so they could look at other options. Unfortunately when we arrived and got there at that point there were no other options available locally that met our needs. The hotel itself was a bit dated But the rooms were clean. The breakfast was fine. Because of the deceptive practices I don't think I would ever stay there again

The remote was sticky so I washed it. The hand towel was black. There was a hole in the bathroom door. There are no elevators and no grab bars in the bath. The room door wouldn't close without slamming it and the key cards were hit and miss if they worked. Most of the staff were nice. I did mention the filthy remote and showed a picture. The receptionist said something like hmm, we shod tell housekeeping to clean them. I won't stay there again.

Room was halfway decent, nothing fancy. Pool was ridiculously loud until 11pm with kids and music blaring. Every time anyone shuts a door in the place, it echos throughout the entire hotel and it’s extremely loud. We actually just cut our losses and left instead of staying the second night. Easier to drive 3+ hours home than to listen to Marco Polo all night in the pool. Also, maybe check the toilet paper rolls in the room, someone cleaned off bloody needles in ours…glad we noticed quickly and threw it out, that’s pretty nasty. Would highly recommend you find a more peaceful location for your stay unless you enjoy Spanish music and kids screaming and pool furniture getting rearranged and doors slamming all night.

Don't stay here more then one day. Cause they won't clean the room. They want u to put the trash out u door. Funny thing is my door is at the pool area. And don't get me started with the pool. The front door lady is rude. Doest have customer service skills. Will not be back here.

Stayed for New Year's Eve. It's an old hotel but nicely renovated. Impressive continental breakfast with great staff keeping everything stocked. Several bars across the street and a decent super club. Very spacious pool area with lots of seating and pool side rooms. Pool is pretty small and hot tub is very small, no bigger than a residential hot tub. Still great for the kids. Front desk staff want very friendly but it was a busy weekend.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dog friendly. Charlie recieved a gift bag upon arrival with many goodies. Room was a little musty, but to be expected in older building next to a large body of water. Only problem was a lumpy bed that needed to be replaced.

I don’t know how people on here say this place was remodeled. This place is old. The air conditioner doesn’t work. They have to turn it on on their end. And they always have an excuse of why it won’t be turned on. First excuse was the pipes were frozen. Second. Maintenance wasn’t on the premises. Third. Something is wrong with it and they may be fixing it this week. I don’t see why each room can’t control their own air conditioner. They ALWAYS have the heat on. They Jets work when they want too. The rug padding under the carpet crunches when you walk on it. The pillows are lumpy and yellow from other peoples sweat. The only reason I have to stay here is because that’s where work put me. If this had a 0 star ⭐️ I would give it to them. And the laundry room dryer doesn’t work either.

This hotel is in desperate need of renovation, water damage on ceiling, dry blood on pillows, dirty rug. Breakfast was uneventful. Not a good experience overall. Personnel is nice and courteous.

Everything is very good, very comfortable, breakfast has a pool, gym, washing machines and a little store, all the staff serve very well, except for a woman who is around 6am to 8am, she has a very bad manner with Latinos, she is always lonely when you go to activate your keys. I think you pay for your room so that he attends well, you are not asking for anything for free, it is her job, he does not have to bother.....

Really liked our 3 night stay here. Clean, quiet at night, good breakfast in the morning! Also, I forgot my phone charger in my room when we left and they were kind enough to find it and mail it back to me! Thank you very much!

The room was filthy. Had to have the comforter replace with a clean one as the one on the bed was brown with grime and spots of food. The floor had not been vacuumed, there were toenail clippings, popcorn and trash under chairs and the bed. The blow drier was covered in sticky grime. The bathtub had black mold or mildew on the rim. And the light switch was also gross with black marks. I don’t usually write reviews, but feel the need to warn others this is not a clean place to stay. Felt like I needed a shower whenI left! Also, the staff person who checked us in didn’t greet us, though she was quick in providing a clean comforter.

When I first called to make my reservation, Jackie was so helpful and genuinely friendly and kind. She was so accommodating for me. I recommend this motel for anyone traveling in the twin ports area it is convenient to all attractions. And the free breakfast is absolutely amazing. The pool area is also clean and very pleasant. A highly recommended place
