It was my first time being there on the way to Koh Tao and I enjoyed it so much! The Surat Thani Night Market is located not far from a beautiful temple near the pier. The variety of food is amazing. You can find everything you want and even more. Good value for money.

I love this market, one small alley, you can go there and back in no time, yet it has so many food variations. For all meat lover, sea food lovers, healthy people looking for fresh salad or fruit. The prices are also nice. Definitely come again to treat my sweet tooth.

A night market with a lot of food variety and good atmosphere. You can get there for a relaxing walk and to get some tasty snacks. There are mostly local people around.

This was one of the best night markets i have ever been to in Thailand. Lots of food stalls, which we are spoilt by choices.

You will see tons of monkeys -JUST keep your distance and don't wear anything that they can grab and run-especially your phone.I say one bite the girl next to me so be careful.Still a fun experience

We have been on the local Surat Thani Chinese weekend market. Very recommendable with a very large selection of different food for every taste. Prices are reasonable and the quality is good to very good. Right time to go is at 4 pm and go with an empty stomach.

One of my favorite night markets anywhere. Not huge but the quality of the offerings is what counts. Vendors are friendly and the crowd is mellow. Highly recommend!

If you are street food lovers you will love this place, the food are cheap and delicious, you need to try noodles (Ka-nhom-jean)!

So much choice of food, open every night, 3 roads of rood to enjoy, some vendors there 20+ selling their style of dish pad thai, khanom jeen, khanom krok, all sorts of fresh squeezed juices orange, pineapple, sugarcane, avacado. Food on sticks, satay, isaan sausage, pork sausage,many desserts. Take your cash or you can QR code most (if you have a thai bank acc) no where to sit and eat apart from khanom jeen and pad thai places. Close to a tenple so can hear the evening chant. Plastic so much from each vendor -thats a bit sad. Otherwise a tasty night out.

Nice night market @Surat Thani. We drove out rented motorcycle to the market which was easy to find with Google maps offline. The market offers various local, fusion and experimental food stalls. All for a fraction of the price that we are used to in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket etc... The people are very friendly and you'll see almost no foreign tourists. It's very safe to visit and respect the locals even in November 2022 most of them still wear face masks. p.s. the food stalls are amazing! Sweet, savory, salty, sour or spicy...you can find it all here.

I like this market. Lot of shop and price is reasonable. I like Thai dessert the most in this market. You can order at the booth shop and eat inside the shop. Clean but no A/C. I will definitely come back.

Loving this night in market in the Chinatown of Surat Thani. On a sunday night, the place is packed with locals and some tourists. It has a huge variety of food (including savory & sweet, also some halal options as well). They also have an outdoor cinema showing old movies, which was great. Many food vendors offer local specialty, but can also get sushi, kebabs, corndog etc. A unique one is the soda seller. They still use the traditional way where they mixed syrup & ice then pumped in the soda manually.

Nice night market with many stalls thoughout the streets. More difficult for strangers as most signs are only in thai and not everyone speaks English. Anyway we managed to even find a lot vegetarian dishes and everyone was kind to help us. Only few seating options

I had two dishes. One pad Thai and one basil rice. Both were the worst I ever had in the past 9 months in Thailand, and at the same time, served in the smallest portions I had ever seen in my life. They were literally served on a teacup plate. An absolute waste of money and time. You are better off looking for a restaurant.
