What a pleasant surprise. This place is wonderful! Super friendly family running the place. The mattress is excellent. The whole place spotless and they clean a few times a day. There is free water, coffee, and tea. The shower is big and there is hot water as well as soap and shampoo! The common area is spacious and you can hang out on the sofa, chill on the floor and work on one of the tables. There is a Family Market on the other side of the street, the two bus stations right there. To the food street it is only 5 minutes to walk and to the park at the river 7. A hostel/hotel to stay!

Best hostel I've stayed at in Thailand. Really good breakfast included. The staff is so nice and welcoming. They will go out of their way to help you and show you around. Great people. Warmly recommended!

Urban cozy hostel is Awesomeeeee and very strategically located . Beds are really comfortable , shower are really good ( Hot water, soap, shampoo...) ...you can even use the kitchen that is also amazing. There is a common area where you can take the free breakfast, watch Netflix and get along with the people. Niu (The owner) and her family are amazing! They are really Impressive human beings! They were so welcome , nice and helpful ! I stayed in their hostel three weeks and it was an amazing experience ! I felt like home ! They have spared no effort to help me out with everything and really care about you ! 😬 !

Top tier hostel with a very friendly and fun family running the show. The hosts invited us to join them on a day out where we went tubing down a river, and later went drinking in a bar. Was lots of fun and very nice to get to know some fun and interesting locals!! Their mother is also very sweet lady, and very welcoming. Beds are the best I've had in 6 months backpacking. They have a small kitchen they let guests use at the back, very nice! Everything is very clean and hot showers available. Free rice and tea/coffee was available all day. All in all, would highly recommend.

Amazing hostel! Nice and clean and with free breakfast which is delicious. The staff are what really make this place. They found out it was my birthday and threw an impromptu party for me. They got me brownies and all sang happy birthday with the guitar. Above and beyond to say the least! Love to all the staff.

My friends and I stayed one night in this hostel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The family was very friendly and super helpful, going out of their way to help us with bus tickets to the next town. The beds are comfy, the common area is cozy, and the facilities are clean. If you end up in Surat Thani I highly recommend Urban Cozy Hostel!

Amazing place. Staff is really helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious. It is also worth mentioning that the whole place is VERY clean. 5/5 one of the best quality/cost ratio among hostels.
