Comedians were ok, not great. Weird vibe overall. Staff were chatting loudly amongst themselves throughout show. Staff were taking payment while headline comedian was on was super distracting. Overall, not a great experience.

I was a regular at Yuk Yuk Vancouver and glad they found themselves a new home in Cloverdale. The shows are as good as before but I do miss the cozy setup of the old location. The new room is a conference room with hard chairs. It does feel like a non for profit fund raising event as one of the comedians put it.

Weird atmosphere here. My friend complained to a server for taking his drink away when it wasn’t finished and she went and told security she was scared and he was kicked out and banned for 24 hours. Don’t complain if you don’t want to be kicked out right away! Not to mention our first beers were warm, food was expensive for the smallest portions and also cold - calamari. The service was very slow. I love comedy but I will not go back there for these reasons and more.

The show was awesome! The room they host the comedy show in is a conference room. It's nice and spacious. My only suggestion would be to have a big curtain at the back of the seating to make it feel a bit cosier like the way it was in Vancouver. But great either way. I liked how the comedy club is located in the casino because it gave us something to do before and after the show. We will definitely be back!

I went to the open mic night and it was an enjoyable show but they started way later than advertised (Website said doors open 9:30 and show starts at 10, but we got there at 9:45, they told us the previous show was still going on. So we left and came back at 10:10 and we still weren't allowed inside.) The bartender was a bit moody, not friendly. Also there is only a men's washroom ? The people who greeted us in were friendly and fun and brought my mood back up for the show.

Let's face it. Who wants to go to downtown Vancouver for the same show, when the show can come to you. We've been several times now. For $20.00 it's great value, with prompt food and drink service to your table, it's a great way to spend an evening. And hey, the casino is there too !

Fun little joint, shows are well put together and relatively cheap for an evening of entertainment. They have food and beverages on sale too, service is good if a little slower during the show and limited food options. We went on a Thursday night and it was still pretty busy with a good vibe. Just note that they pack the tables in so you will be sitting pretty close to others. Good venue though!

Great prices and many laughs! Comedians were excellent! They happened to be out of some menu items which dropped a star in my opion.

The host was funny. Good guest comedians. But, also had Calamari and bruschetta both were very good. Drinks are reasonable priced.

It’s great place to spend a evening dinner and comedy great date night. I personally don’t spend time in casino’s unless it’s for shows or fights. Yuk Yuk’s is worth it.

I went here last night was My first time going to this comedy club and I really enjoyed it a lot the comedians are great and they know how to put on a great show and make people laugh. The food is amazing definitely enjoyed the wings and chicken strips. I will definitely come back to this place and tbe seating area is perfect too lots of room!

The staff were friendly & service was great overall. I enjoyed the selection of comedians that night we went. I watched a you tube video of one comedian's I liked. The seating layouts are great so we have our personal space. The bouncers were attentive to those who can't handle their alcohol, those hecklers can be annoying 😊

The comedy was really good, had a lot of laughs. The service and the venue was dismal, it's held in an old poker room at the Elements casino, it's dingy and has no style. The bar/kitchen is behind a curtain next to the stage, so the whole time a comedian is up there doing their thing, all you hear is clanking cups and dishes. I definitely won't be returning for future shows, if you want a great venue and comedians go to Rick Bronson's House of Comedy in New West.

First I'd like to say that reading the complete ticket is my fault .I was not expecting to have to have my id to enter a comedy club at 57 years old .I forgot my wallet at home . its a converted conference room inside the casino you have to show I'd to get in the casino .it needs to be stated on the Surrey yuk yuk we site .very disappointing

I love this place!! It is intimate, perfect for a date or night out with friends! They change up the hosts (who also do a bit of comedy for you), and many of the comedians are local, so we know we are supporting our neighbors! Very cool 😎

Checked out Yuk Yuks for the JFL Showcase. Got there early and picked out the booth benches lining the room. More room and higher up so you can see the stage clearly. Dude server was prompt and pleasant. Comedy was the best if the best. Door guy kinda rude asking New to put my phone away. When the light went on while putting it into my purse. Calling me out in a rude way. Lucky I don't get embarrassed easily. Nice venue and would go back.

Went to my first Yuks Yuks with my girlfriend and her family at the Surrey location. Enjoyed it thoroughly. The MC and comedians were funny as heck! The staff was very good and humorous too. My only disappointment was the servers. They served me once at the start and that was it. They seemed more interested in serving the table's with bigger orders.

Great experience - comedians have been great, Casino staff has been very accommodating.

Really fun spot for a night out! The staff is always super nice, the venue is a quintessential comedy club with a small stage and seating around tables. Lots of funny comics come here, just last week they were a part of the JFL tour! Totally recommend!

Its a great time, we've gone here for dates and double dates and its always a good time! Just make sure to arrive early to line up so you can get your first pick on the seats! I usually get nachos when I go to munch on- its just bar food at the end of the day but its fine with me!

We had a wonderful time at Yuk Yuks. This was our first time going and it was a great way to ring in the new year. We will definitely be making Yuk Yuks a more regular event as the ticket prices are so reasonable. The only reason I am giving a 4 star rather than 5 is to make New Years Eve A LOT more exciting. We received top hats, crowns, horns and literally a shot glass of Champaign, but when it came to the actual few minutes before midnight there was no hype up to he new year, no screen to see the count down. It was just the comedian host jumping up on stage literally 15 seconds rushing into the new year like she had forgotten. It would have been way more amazing if there was at least a TV screen, projector count down or anything to make the moment more special. If I didn't have my phone out on the table watching the live countdown streaming from my phone I wouldn't have known how accurate the actual count down was. Yuk Yuks also played Auld lang syne but it was down so low you could barely hear the song over the crowd of people. Don't get me wrong the night was a blast and I would still do another Yuk Yuks New Years Eve event, but this is just feedback for making it even better in the coming years. See you soon at another show.

I've been plenty of times, though I'm just making a review. Great place if you want to laugh, there are some good and bad performers of course, nice set-up in the room. They do have a hot menu, along with snacks and liquor libations. I usually go on a Wednesday, just because of professional/amateur night, it's seven dollars to get in and after that it'll be an experience you'd want to go back for. Nice place to take a date or go with friends.

So glad to see some stand up comedy in town! Staff was great ..acts were funny

Headliner was OK, the warm up guy was excellent. Super limited drink menu AND half the choices were out of stock. NOT a single local craft choice. Venue is just a conference room. Rick's in New West is far better

I can't speak to every night but the comedians we checked out were great. Will definitely be going back for more. Prices are reasonable and venue is pretty good. Can get a bit crowded but depending on what you looking for it creates a good atmosphere. Food was decent.

They present 8 - 10 comics who are generally pretty good. When we attended a week ago one person in particular was very poor, not sure how she got in. The host in the first half or 75% wasn't too bad. Unfortunately in the last part of the show his language became nothing but the f- word, on a totally gratuitous basis. Service was average, however the room seemed overcrowded, no clear access routes in case of an emergency. I thought overall that the evening was about 3.5 stars, not 4 stars.

Went for Spring Clean comedy night, ordered a water and never got it. No big deal, the comedy was awesome and we were seated to the side of the stage, still able to see and enjoy the show. It can be warm and maybe a little tight if there's a crowd, but worth the $20 I paid for admission. The atmosphere was welcoming, with people there to direct us upon entering, open doors for us, and give directions to the restroom. Service was lacking as it seemed like the one waitress serving our area was overwhelmed, breaking a glass on the floor accidentally. As mentioned earlier I ordered a water and ended up having to go and get it from the bar myself, as well as we never got to order food, only watch others have food "magically" appear.

Love the comics! They’re pretty good. Got a bucket of Coronas for $29 (5 beers) and two German pretzels. Pretzels were awful, they were hard and rubbery. Otherwise, we had good seats and a good time! A good place for fun but not for food.
