Been going to this gym for the past 3 years. Cleanest gym around with nice ambiance. The monthly membership cost is of good value and will not break the bank. The customer service is fantastic! If you are looking to sign up ask for Ken and/or Kristina they are absolutely awesome people along with the rest of the team. 👌

Dirty mirrors full of hand marks in the stretching area prolly been months since they cleaned it but there’s 7 employees up front doing nothing. Good deal for a membership but prolly should either make staff work or cut them.

I'm thrilled to share my review of this gym! The cleanliness and spaciousness of the facility create a pleasant workout environment. The equipment is of high quality, ensuring an effective and enjoyable exercise session. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always eager to assist. The Black Card perk of a 10-minute massage is a delightful treat, though I must admit, it does leave me wanting more! The only slight inconvenience is the evening crowd, which can lead to some wait times for equipment. However, the ample parking spaces make up for it, providing convenience to members. Despite this minor setback, I'm genuinely happy with the gym and its overall offerings. It's a great place to achieve my fitness goals, and I look forward to continuing my workouts there!

Ex member now. Spent two years here. Things I initially liked: -clean -open 24hrs -new equipment (netwon, north van has better) -pay more for multiple locations Things that I hated: -smells like B.O -ppl recording snaps, ig without consent and talking on fone. No enforcement of club rule's that phone calls in lobby only. -groups 3-4 ppl sharing benches passing to buddies -cable machine never get fixed on time. -biggest critic is the manager. Can't do his job so enforce his own rule's to make his life easier.

It's a franchise model!!! In franchise model when you do not get what the Brand website offered, you write a complaint, and in response to that complaint when you hear that they cannot do much about it. You are neither of that brands not of the gym owners focus area. You remain stranded. There is no customer support per se. I joined as PF black member. I experienced issues when I had to use PF exclusive benefits. At times services were not working or staff not being responsive etc. I emailed the ID provided in the responses, yet they give typical reply that they cannot intervene in gums operation as every gym has a different owner. I ended up terminating my contract with them. Never joining such franchise gyms. It is always best to join your City's community center health club that has a lot more facilities or join a locally owned gym rather than joining a big chain.

Check-in day March 29 around 8:15pm(surrey central location) Gym was busy and bench machine was broken so we replaced it with a free bench. Staff member(white, healthy) came and told us we can’t replace them even though replacement bench was free and their equipment was broken with no out of order sign on it. Lil bit argument about policy and our friend wiped the bench and put it back( Other club members witnessed whole incident). We left and went to newton location. He put a google review. A week later he came with us and a staff member told him that manager wanted to talk to him. Manager told him that used B-word for that lady and he is going to cancel the membership. No investigation, nothing. We tried to talk to manager and asked him to investigate the whole thing before taking biased decision but he said he trust his staff member more than anyone. We even asked him to review camera and watch their reaction as everyone there was so calm while incident happened. But manager canceled our membership too without any notice and without our consent. This review is for that supervisor and manager only. Rest of the staff was nice since Ive started coming to this facility(more than a year).

Just wanted to say thank you to the staff at Planet Fitness Surrey for their hard work during the pandemic. I was in there the other day and saw a member of their staff get yelled at for enforcing a covid policy (not the first time I've seen it either). Staff member was professional and courteous and I appreciate them looking out for the safety of their members. Would recommend to friends and family.

I love this gym. Firstly, it’s extremely affordable, for just 25$ per month you have an access to a room with massage chair n bed (hydromassage bed is my biggest motivation to come, it’s amazing). Secondly, u can bring +1 person with u for free. Finally, you can go to any gym of Planet Fitness branch, not limited to just one location. It’s colourful , I like purple theme. The staff is very friendly n helpful. Also they have free sessions with a trainer, it’s so cool, personally or in a small group you can get trained by a professional. I tried different gyms in Surrey, including that for 100 $ per month, but really enjoying this one.

The staff are very kind and monthly cost to use this gym is inexpensive, for that I give 2 stars. However the general etiquette of the gym goers here is poor. Constant crowding, leaving plates on machines and carelessness. The smell of this gym is often unbearable to the point I cut my workout short. Not sure how people have such a lack of social awareness to not know they stink. Not a lot of negativity to say about the gym itself but rather the ones that use it.

Had an issue with my account that was solved right away. Staff was friendly and communicated well. Ended up being a mistake of mine, but the manager and supervisor that helped me went above and beyond to correct it and explain what had happened. Appreciated that (and appreciate having a gym to go to during the pandemic!)

This facility is clean, friendly and highly accessible for the area. I recommend planning ahead with their mobile app as it will help you plan your visit & how you go about your workout. Generally 5PM-10PM is swamped, so if that's your crowd go for it. Machines and equipment are plentiful with the exception of a real squat rack and leg press machine, their 45's are limited in quantity too. Staff are super friendly, helpful and I feel genuienly care about your experience. Men's change room has tons of space, and lockers. It just lacks toilers, there are only two. The gym perks are worth it especially.

I really like coming here. Staff are friendly and welcoming while Elnaz is a great trainer. She explains really well and pays attention to her clients with proper demonstrations. She always come in with positive attitude and is the best trainer with good personality. Her tips and tricks are awesome which allows me to get the most out of my workout. Really caring goes above and beyond to help me achieve my goals.

It's a good gym for beginners and intermediate gym goers with decent equipment and atmosphere, however the biggest turn off from this gym is the summer event where high-school kids can come in for free to workout. Those kids get to go for free while the rest of us pay monthly fees and the yearly fee, and the kids aren't being told to follow proper gym etiquette. The people who work there stay behind the counter and don't do much of anything if management isn't there to tell them what to do, which often leaves paper towels low for usage or not at all, cleaner bottles empty, equipment left on the ground, and people sitting on machines on their phones not working out and getting in the of others who try to get in and get out. But it's the cheapest gym on the market so you get what you pay for.

I'm giving less stars Because so many issues. Lots of times I've complained about people not cleaning machines, it's nasty and I see 2-5 people every time. When you complain they say they will let management know, that's it. Lay down tanning bed, face light burnt out for a year, they told me just lay backwards, what's the point of having a face tanner if you can't fix.. Massage bed breaks lots.. Crowded small gym, people stand and stare waiting for you to finish. Others on equipment sit on their phones way more then working out and we have to wait for the Facebook uploads lol. Also very smelly, not sure why some don't use deodorant! They need better air circulation. And maybe stickers on every machine to remind people to clean them, but I bet they still won't! Lots of disrespectful people.

I recently joined this gym and am pleased with the experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, always ready to assist and create a positive atmosphere. What sets this gym apart is its affordability, making it an excellent choice for those on a budget without compromising on quality. Highly recommended!

Beware there are thieves inside the gym. I had a lock and they break my lock and stole from my bag. When i asked help from the front desk. They told me they cant do anything about it. At least they could have checked the cameras and see who did it. So the person can be caught. But they dont care about their members. Be careful guys.

Gym is quite spacious but benches and smith machines are always in use! The gym is for workin out, not a place to sit on your phones and waste space!

Great gym and staff! Staffs are exceptionally nice and really helpful! The trainer Peter did such an amazing job with my program! Gave me such great tips and advices that trainers at fitness’s world or club 16 would never give. It’s because of him that I am now changing my behavior. He is a really good trainer and answers all my questions! I high recommend this gym and especially working with the trainer Peter if you’re looking to make a fitness change!

This place is packed with the right equipment and well spaced. A good bargain for the price. The downside, for beginners, you’ll get confused except you get a guide. However, once you know how things work here, it’s uppppp from there.

This gym is so bad they tell us that you have to wear mask while workout then how i will intake the oxygen it means that they tell us to die in the gym only is this a gym or death center while working out we can mask. Down but they want that we should die and now they are telling me to leave the gym such ah stupid management

Horrible staff and management, not friendly or knowledgeable. Harassed and threatened by members and told staff but didn't get any help. Dirty and not stocked regularly. Annoying alarm for lunking which is just silly and distracting. Members are constantly filming other members with their phones. Water fountain is never cleaned and unsanitary. Staff serves food with dirty hands.

Wish there was a ladies only section, but the staff does a great job enforcing policies and making me feel comfortable and safe when I work out. The equipment is nice and the Black Card amenities are awesome value for the price. I love the hydromassage bed! Thanks Planet Fitness team!

Staff are excellent - always welcoming when I arrive which really gives me a boost (especially on the days I'm pushing myself to get to the gym). They make me feel great for just showing up !! Staff work hard to ensure all sanitary stations are full and equipment is maintained and working. Not easy when most of the general public using the amenities don't care. I feel the gym is kept clean - it's tough to keep up with the public. I see staff cleaning and no sooner done when I see gym members messing things up. It's also not easy dealing with rude people. I've seen staff handle situations in a very professional manner. Not fun taking guff from rude members. Well done Team !!

I have only had positive experiences at this gym it is clean and well maintained the staff members are very welcoming when I get there and have always been helpful when needed. I have been attending classes with the trainer Elnaz and she is very experienced and motivating with a great attitude. She pushes me to my full potential and gives extra tips as well.I recommend her as a trainer and am very pleased with this gym overall 😁 .

I like the gym, but it smells like garbage. It's like Indian spices mixed with sweat. Disgusting smell everywhere. I like their customer service, and they are open 24 hours which is the best. But I am looking for another gym. I just can't exercise because of the smell. And , someone should tell the boys to leave the machines (lifting areas) . Some of them sit and watch the girls. Uncomfortable

Used to go there, they usually have a very affordable pricing. The downside is that the place is incredibly crowded during peak hours. Making it almost impossible get the Smith machine/ bench. Also the place does not have a barbell, and you will have to do squats on the Smith machine.

Planet fitness don't provide option to cancel membership, you have to visit gym any how if you want to cancel it also provide them valid reason too. Any-case person is busy and don’t have time for gym. They cant opt the option of cancellation as one of their receptionist told me provide us a valid reason to cancel it, like seriously this is not enough that I am paying for gym where I don’t able to go due to my busy schedule. Even they are not going to cancel my membership as 1st of dec they are going to charge and today it’s 30th nov. They need 7 days to cancel. Like you guys are really don't mention on the first day of ur cancellation rules. One of my friend give me a free trial period to check that am able to go or not. And these guys are charge me for nothing I use of their services. Really bad services of planet fitness

I have joined gym 2 months ago. gym is super clean and organized. experience with day staff was not so good so I started my workout at night time. and night staff is very co operative and cheerful. they guide me properly about each machine.

Very affordable 24 hour gym! Besides the usual cardio machines, weights and 30 min mini classes like many other gyms offer, it also has tanning rooms, waterbeds and massage chairs available! The only thing that bothers me is the cardio area: treadmills and steppers are next to each other with no space in between. Very friendly staff and clean environment with free wifi!

Love what they did with distance required from each person. Very happy with the selection of the machines. Just need to crank the AC as its so warm inside.

I appreciate the fact that staff tells people to wear mask and practice physical distancing. Sure the mask is uncomfortable and hot to wear, but it makes me feel safe that me and others are wearing them, especially during times like these. Please keep enforcing this as I still see people not wearing masks properly.

Nice response. Been waiting since friday for the .manager to call. Staff knew how the theft was done. Staff know but you don't. Why arent you warning people that you allow staff and members of the public special ideas on how to get into lockers. Not safe to use the lockers. STAFF know they have a theft problem and they won't even tell the woman the locker room is not safe. Disgusting. I was making excuses about the worn pads on the machines but they aren't worried about our safety they are NOT worried about being clean either. Robbed 2 times in 1 month. Ya sure it's not an issue.

Been going here for a few years now. Super friendly staff, well kept machines and stations, and clean and sterile work out environment. They've done an excellent job with keeping up with Covid suggestions and requirements. 10/10, would lunk again.

I was literally thrashed out of gym alongside my work-out partner, in between the set, for using a bench, which was sitting free. The way of communicating the message was beyond insulting. I would never recommend going to a place where you go for your personal good and rather come home getting verbally thrashed from people who are supposed to be catering customer service. unprofessional and poor customer service. One of us has cancelled the membership atm, other will follow the suit. Thanks!

The gym is not bad but the management is very poor. They offer free training sessions with the black card membership, but whenever you try to book these sessions they are always full as they have only 5 slots per day for the training sessions. For a gym with so many members only 5 people in a day. They seriously lack trainers and i would not suggest anyone to go for the black card as you will only be doing your excercises yourself like in an apartment gym without any instructions or training sessions.

Planet fitness staff at night very rude with me. I am always doing gym at midnight because of COVID19 but their king george staff doesn't let me do exercises and their one lady said she cancelled my membership all planet fitness doesn't let me in. I have proof of recording. Today at 01 am doing exercises at corner no one was there but their staff come and argue with me without reason. I already cancelled my membership because their equipment and behavior was Soo rude.

Not much space, a lot of cardio machines but lack of strength training machines (Benches, barbell rods etc.). A bit crowded in the strength training area otherwise not much crowded.

Best place to shave unnecessary body weight, stress while being in shape. Friendly and efficient staff. Complete gym equipment. Clean and well maintained place without ridiculous pricetag of other places.

I was here around 5:30pm, and during 3 sets ona a single machine, there were 5 different groups of members walking around with no mask on from one end of the gym to the other, machine to change room. 4 staff behind the desk, but zero mask enforcement. Even if we’re all vaccinated, it’s still flu season. No one wants to catch a fever and miss work.

Great staff members. Good safety measures. Only drawback is that it get crowded on peak hours since the location is a bit smaller than other planet fitness outlets.

Plenty of space. People wipe off after using equipments regularly. Weight section gets crowded during rush hours. Would suggest to add more bench press instead of cardio which is mostly empty

This gym is my new go to and although there are things to improve, I can already recommend it. The place smells and looks clean, organized and have average amount of machines. The free weight area is situated in one place and quite adequate when it's not busy. The staff is attentive, pleasant and friendly. The cleaning supplies are also refilled quite often and the locker rooms are well kept.

My encounter with the staff is both very pleasant and professional! The membership comes with one-on-one personal training that I absolutely love. I always try to book with Elnaz as she is my favourite trainer. She comes prepared and ready with new exercises to keep your heart rate up and she comes everyday with a smile! Totally worth it!

I love this gym and it's not because I'm able to lift, the people that work here are top notch 100%! I've been to many PF in the past few years and this one is the best one in the lower mainland. Everyday when when I walk in I'm greeted with respect, kindness and with lots of love. From day one the day staff has always had my back and always encourages me to keep up the hard work. Though I love coming in daily to get my pump on, what drives me to come in everyday is because of the day staff.. Eli (lower mainland best personal trainer)Charles, Kelly, Soham, Jade are the reason I keep want to come in. They truly make the hard days easy and it's all because how they treat me with respect and like I'm family. If your looking for a very respectful gym without any problems this is your place. No matter where I live in the lower mainland I'll always come to this Planet fitness.

Great fitness facility but not maintained that well. A lot of the popular machines are out of service with a long time to be fixed. Fitness sessions are basic and not customised as they claim to be. But in this area this is a good average gym with reasonable price. Best part is you can get one membership and bring your buddy/spouse everyday with you for free.

My experience with planet fitness was worst. I was told I would receive a call from the manager 2 weeks and till date am waiting for the call. Whenever you will call to talk to manager they will say she is in a meeting (no idea how on earth she is always attending a meeting). Called about my health situation and said can't visit in person to cancel the subscription, yet they didn't cooperate. Their annual subscription or monthly subscription could not be cancelled if you don't visit them (even if you say you have met with an accident or out for some family emergency) Staff aren't cooperative at all. If possible would have give negative rating.

This location is amazing, so clean and staff are always so friendly. Their variety of equipment is exactly what I need. I try to workout at night because then the gym is rather empty, which I prefer because I am shy sometimes. I will note that parking can be difficult at times, but that's out of their control and does not affect the experience you will have once you get into the gym. I absolutely love being a Black Card member because for $25 a month, the amenities included are incredible. Tanning, hydromassage, clean showers, private locker rooms and access to some programs. Also, if you're like me and forget to bring a drink with you, you get 50% off select drinks with your Black Card membership.

I've had the pleasure of interacting with Enrico (my apologies if i am pronouncing it wrong) at the gym, and I can't speak highly enough about him. He's incredibly kind and always willing to lend a hand whenever I need assistance. It's refreshing to have someone like Enrico around, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Keep up the fantastic work!

Hi I am a proud member of this Gym since last year, I am happy with the sanitization, cleanliness and social distancing protocols which they follow. The staff is really nice and friendly and my gratitude to their Supervisor Mr. Soham who has been very helpful with his customer service

It's good for your needs, not a weight training gym at all. Also, there's no accessible hand sanitizer between machines or in any areas of gym other then the main entrance .

This is one of the cleanest gyms I have ever been in. The staff is always amazing, and super attentive if I'm having trouble using a machine. I really love the morning staff. It is truly a judgment free zone. I also very much appreciate their follow through with making sure members are wearing masks when necessary. Got great help and customer service from one of the guys working there tonight. I usually go to the Abby location as its closest to me, but from the recent horrible experience I had there with customer service this place is WORTH the long drive. The staff is actually friendly and accomadating here. Such a nice change to deal with actual friendly and helpful staff members. DO NOT go to Abbotsford location unless you like being degraded and treated very poorly.

I been going there for longtime and they told me with plan I have I can have one guess with me for free , So I go work out with my son and nephew sometimes no problem ,,, All of sodden last night I been stop and informed that I can’t have guess unless up grade my plan Really ,,,, you guys with all these technologies couldn’t send me email and say the policy is changed ,,, so I don’t get stop like I am trying Do something wrong ,,,

Pros: Cheap memberships, Well lit facilities, good place to start if you’re a gym newbie. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful during the sign up process one of the last few remaining 24hr gyms that doesnt cost $60 a month Cons: The Surrey Central location stinks like “onions” (not the gym’s fault..) even if youre wearing a mask. For advanced lifters, there are no real squat racks, free barbells or deadlifting pads. There’s a “lunk alarm” if you drop weights so no deadlifting allowed in the gym. No pull up bars, 75% of the gym are basically treadmills and stationary bikes. (pro?) Okay all-around, you definitely get what you pay for. Definitely a gym I’ll go to just for the machines and nothing else.

I love this place! Very non intimidating and very welcoming! Staff is very friendly and the people that say it smells etc I don’t see any of that. I see people clean their machines all the time. If you want a welcoming, affordable gym with great massage chairs etc come here! I’ve been a member of other gyms in the past and this is by far my favourite:)

Yes please, the gym is busy. The crowd meter in your app showed normal but there was still 15-20 mins waiting on single machines. You do have great services but if you can somehow improve your crowd meter and integrate expected wait time on your crowd meter, that would be great and time saving for busy professionals. It’s a pretty good gym, but the dirty mirrors are a huge issue. I wish they would go around at least once a day cleaning mirrors and highly touched areas. I’ve been going here for over a year and I’ve seen the employees dusting some equipment maybe 3 times. I’m not sure how to attach photos but the same hand prints have been on the mirrors for 2 weeks.

This is my go to Gym!... Before I decided for a Gym, I did my research and believe me this is the one in all Surrey! It is big, you don't need to wait for free machine, they have enough for all!... Clean! That one of the most important thing for me!... The employee clean all the installation constantly, you don't need to worry about. And they really have an amazing costumers service. They always recieved you with a smile, and make you day happier! I give them a A+

In budget, the great place to workout. All equipments are well maintained including massagers. Amazing customer experience and the mobile app covers home workout as well as complete guidance to use machines. Only thing is, it’s little crowded. I would 100% recommend to join Planet Fitness.

So this is my local gym, and it's a nice place. However, few things could change - Men's showers could use a face-lift - I see many people working out with normal casual jeans etc, it's important for someone to walk around and tell them about the rules of the place. - there is no shame in educating people to be a little cleaner. Good work overall 👏

It’s a clean place yes…. Attention to details no…. Like why do we not have subtitles on the TVs anymore? They were there last week…..I’m not a lip reader. And when 3 staff are behind the counter just hanging out, look up….. also just out of curiosity where did those sweet grape candies go, sure miss them, a nice little perk for members. Lynda

Good gym I have the Black card pass so I can go to any locations. This particular location is clean and staff are friendly. The location isn't big compare to the newton one but is closer for me. I'd suggest a incline chest press machine since they only have 2 machines press.

I'm a member at Planet Fitness and the old blonde hair women wouldnt even manually sign me in. Telling me that I have to have the app to sign in. The updated app dosnt work on my old phone. So I left and wont ever come to this location again. Thanks for nothing.

Gym is so clean and staff is so good specially there is guy sameer work nearly evening times he always welcome me that gives boost to my workout routine . Other staff is also good keep going on planet fitness .
