I’ve tried a few poke places in Surrey, but I keep coming back to Steve’s Poke Bar as my go-to. The poke here always tastes fresh and flavourful and the overall quality is pretty high. I also like the variety of free toppings here and how they always taste fresh. The only extra topping I pay for is the 🥑 avocado premium topping because it makes everything taste so much better! 😋 Ordering online through their website is very easy and my order is always ready within 10 minutes or less. 👍 Overall, this is an awesome place to get your poke fix and great post workout meal. Staff here are also friendly and always prepares my poke pretty quickly when I order online.

Fast service, fresh ingredients and good deals. The new chili is good, warms you up on a cold day although I do prefer the poke as a fish lover myself.

Absolutely love this location of Steve's Poke Bar. Always make it a habit to come here often because I love the food, and I love the service. They always leave cute little notes on the lids and it always makes my day. The workers here are super sweet, they always initiate conversation. My boyfriend and I came in one time on my birthday and our server was so kind and found out it was my birthday and gave her employee discount. Another time, I ordered through SkipTheDishes and accidentally forgot to add a couple of toppings on the app and my server was kind enough to call me and check in if I forgot to include anything because they must have noticed that my bowl seemed super empty. Exceptional service and quality food, thank you Steve's Poke Bar!

This is the first time I’ve tried a Poké bowl. It was very fresh and tasted really good. The service the guy provided was great as well and he was very patient with me when I was deciding what I wanted. Definitely coming back!

My son and I were in the area and the weather called for a picnic and we saw poke calling for us. Steve's Poké Bar is conveniently located in a strip mall. Ample parking. We arrived shortly after opening and the really helpful staff member was already filling an order. We asked a few questions about what was popular and he had 2 great suggestions for us. We got one of each. The spicy salmon and the Tuna. He made the bowls look beautiful and delicious. We noticed how fresh and clean the place felt. The ingredients looked nice. We gave our bowls 2.5 - 3/5 stars. They were OK. Tasted a little fishy. If you've read my reviews you know we love seafood and fish is often a go-to. I am not sure if it was the seaweed or the Tuna. Hopefully, it was a one-off The 4/5 star reflects the service and the establishment as a whole.

UPDATE: The management team was very quick to contact me after this review and not only offered me a free meal, but also made sure to note that they would review my experience with the staff as a training opportunity. I’m very happy with this result as all I want is to be able to return to my favourite Poke restaurant time and time again without any issues. I’ll start by saying I’ve had countless great experiences here and I genuinely love this place and their food quality. Truly, I never like to leave bad reviews and it’s clear to me that Steve’s has a great reputation and I would never leave a bad review after only one bad experience because I believe that human error exists and doesn’t represent the entire establishment. However, I’ve now had two bad experiences here that haven’t been reprimanded and hopefully by leaving this review, there is some room for improvement and an opportunity to better train staff to make sure orders come out perfectly. Last time I ordered here, my entire bowl came without any of the sauces I asked for and I asked for 4. I know for sure I asked for them because I used a food ordering app which shows me clearly what was requested in my order. This was pretty disappointing because I had no similar sauce or any sauce for that matter at home so the meal became dry and inedible. I never bothered to mention it because, like I said it’s just one mistake. $28 down the drain but what can ya do? Tonight I was really craving Steve’s again so I decided to give them another try. I always order the exact same thing, BYOB with added avocado which costs $3.50 extra but soooo worth it. The avocado I received was clearly very unripe, so much so that I could tell just by looking at the bottom side of it and the staff obviously weren’t able to cut through it. I think it’s really unfortunate that they would risk giving someone a bad experience instead of just calling and letting me know they don’t have a good avocado so I can get my money back. Now, both of these experiences were not from ordering inside the restaurant so maybe if I had been there I could have watched the mistakes being made and stopped them but that doesn’t say much about the quality of their service… That being said, one particular staff member when I do go pick up in person is always extremely thorough, helpful and very friendly and he certainly deserves a raise for how well he does his job. But I can’t say the same for the others after these experiences. I don’t even care about the money wasted. I just wanted some enjoyable meals.

I was in the mood for poke and they’re having to be this location right as I was driving by so I popped in. The staff were welcoming and friendly, 😊it’s a big portion Of food and very tasty and I like that there are lots of sides to get aside from your tuna or salmon. I think the atmosphere is very pretty. I like the Hawaiian aesthetic, the fish 🐟 and paintings 🖼️ on the wall.

I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. Great service and recommendations from the staff. Built my own - tuna, quinoa, avocado, red onions, seaweed salad, cucumber, pickled ginger, Edamame, fried garlic and spicy mayo sauce. It was so good! I kept dreaming of my next poke bowl.

Growing up we vacationed in Maui every other summer and we grew to love poke . I’ve tried all the local poke shops but by far Steve’s poke exists in a category all its own truly authentic cuisine , presentation and the staff is so quick and friendly! 6/5 ⭐️

Steve's Poke is the best poke in town. Their menu is great and everything is fresh and delicious. I love how you can pick any items you want in your bowl.

Everything was so fresh, and they have a counter with extra shoyu and spicy mayo to-go if you need. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to customize our signature bowls as much as we wanted. They also left cute notes on our take out boxes, which was a really nice touch :) Will definitely come back!

Unfortunately they got me again. Took a couple of months to recover (mentally) from undercooked sushi rice and slightly miserable tuna, but I tried again. Mistake. Same rice (tuna was fine). Only ate half my $30 bowl then chucked it. Steve is a very cool and generous guy, so it's a great shame his employees are doing this to his rep. I'm on a 6-month cool-down timer now, then I'll give it another try.

Decently priced Vancouver style poke. The fish is marinated and the quality is pretty good. I generally get half rice and half salad for my base at no extra cost. Good spot for lunch.

The Poké bowl was quite tasty with various healthy options for toppings. But the price point a bit on the high side to get it as often as I would like, especially for a dinner for two. With that budget, my personal preferences would be to go for sashimi and rolls from other places.

It was super delicious. It was my first time trying Steve’s Poke bar. The lady working there was super nice. And I was worried about ordering ahi tuna because, when I tried it in other poke shops, they were so chopped and frozen like ice cream. But here, it was marinated good, and the size was also good. I am definitely going to try it again.

Received an offer for free toppings but was not accessible when ordering online. When I mentioned this to Ola during pick up, she was not able to provide it for reasons not fully understandable although she can see it under my account. Her attention was all over the place since customers at the store seems to be all complaining. This store used to have superb service. Please do not have your customers wait for your own promo with no avail.

Pretty good! Good quality ingredients, freshly made, and great flavours. You don't feel like you're getting a bargain though - lunch for two was just over forty bucks with a tip - but you're getting what you pay for.

Two beautiful girls (manager and worker) were helping my fiancé and I with our poke bowls. We thought we would be late and asked them if they could wait for us for us to order our bowls. Thankfully we came early, and they said we didn’t have to rush at all. They accommodated us and said they would wait for 10 minutes past their closing time which was greatly appreciated 💜. We didn’t eat our foods yet, but I’m sure it’s yummy because Steve’s poke bowl in guildford usually has good poke anyways :))) thank you ladies if you guys see this!!!

Order from this location 3 times previously with excellent experience every time. I normally place my order on mobile so I don't see the food prepared. However today while eating, I unexpectedly bit hard into a small rock in the middle of the bowl :( No idea which ingredient could have contained a rock but please be aware of this potential risk. I still ate the rest of the food cause it was delicious!

We ordered to pick up and also came here several times to buy. Little nice place, clean and friendly, also good quality food. Nice packaging as well. We like to make our own bowls, always happy with their food and service here.

I went on a gloomy afternoon it was cold and raining, and all I needed was a good meal, I walk into the store greeted with wonderful smiles. I go to order and the staff member that helped me out was an absolute sweetheart, she was so kind and wonderful, I really do wish to see her again when I go back.
