Unfriendly

rude
hotel
staff
(front
desk).
We
stayed
at
this
hotel
4
nights
for
a
vacation
in
July
2022
to
visit
B.C.
I
parked
in
a
spot
closest
to
the
main
entrance
to
register.
As
soon
as
I
stepped
out
of
the
car,
a
staff
woman
caucasian
smoking
outside
the
main
entrance
loudly
said
"that
spot
is
reserved
for
the
staff!!"
What
a
greeting!
I
guess
this
property
provides
priority
for
their
staff
&
not
their
guest.
I
got
into
the
elevator
&
when
I
exited
the
elevator
there
wasnt
any
room
sign.
So
I
looked
to
the
left
&
the
room
number
sign
was
on
the
left
corridor
wall.
It
printed
an
arrow
pointing
a
direction
Rooms
200
to
220
sometging
like
that.
I
walked
to
that
hallway
and
followed
the
direction.
Guess
what,
there
were
3
rooms
in
the
corner.
Dead
end.
Very
funny.
So
I
have
to
find
the
right
corridor
to
find
my
room.
Upon
entering
our
room
it
smelled
so
bad
.
Bad
odor.
The
room
was
very
clean
but
the
smell
was
disgusting.
The
hotel
guest
were
80%
people
from
India.
I
then
realized
that
Surrey
is
a
community
dominated
by
families
from
India.
And
I
almost
missed
writing
this
one,
I
asked
one
morning
for
fresh
towels
from
an
Indian
housekeeper.
She
said
I
am
out
of
fresh
towels
as
she
have
to
refresh
two
checked
out
rooms.
She
said
I
will
come
knocked
on
your
door
when
I
have
your
fresh
bath
towels.
More
than
one
hour
passed,
no
knock
no
towels.
I
went
down
to
the
front
desk
to
get
it.
Bad
hotel
experience
from
my
end
being
an
IHG
member.
