Really nice park in Surrey. Parking: Plenty of spots are available. Walking way around the park is nicely constructed. Kids play area is wide with activities. Fountains & water guns are working too good in summer, specially kids make a lot of fun while taking bath. Washrooms are available. Separate Swimming pool 🏊‍♀️ is also available in the park premises. Toy train 🚂 for kids in specific time is the attraction. Adorable place for barbecue, picnic 🧺 & clicks.

Wonderful place for kids to play! Lots of area to walk. It also has two running tracks for walk. Nice gardens too! Very friendly environment. They are also constructing new sitting area with nice views. Need to see what is going to be under the sitting area. However, there is not much to do for bigger kids. My son used to love while he was little but not now. They have creating a new stadium and it looks great too. It has more lights to have fun now.

It's the best park in surrey. You can bring kids here. There are plenty of kids' water activities and swings, slides, climbers, sring riders, and spinners. For adults, it has 400 meters running ground. Nice small garden which looks beautiful in summer . Beautiful flowers and green space. Perfect for picnic and day activities

Fun place to visit..... Public park with plaenty of free and paid activities for kids and adults. Professional looking running track, water park, outdoor swimming pool, kids playing area with swings and other stuff, Toy train with mini golf (10$ combo ride) and Japanese theme garden, chapel in the woods etc. Spring season is good to observe cherry blossom as well.

We attended the Bear Creek Park Lights event during the winters and it was just magical. This is a great park for children to play and even for winter walk visits. This park has a lot of places to sit relax and enjoy the nature. It is a huge natural habitat in the urban city of Surrey.

Beautiful park and a chill place to relax. There is a track , where you can run and a lot of people come here in the evening and afternoon. You can meet strangers and make new friends. But the beauty and greenery here is the best perk it got.

My 4 year old son enjoyed his play time here. A variety of structures for toddlers to 12 years old. The best part is there is an ice cream truck at the park. A beautiful trail garden too.

A place to visit close to nature in the heart of city. The running tracks used to jog are really good especially for elderly people.During November the lights put up are certainly a one time watch. The entry is free and is a good idea to pre-book your visit.

It’s that wonderful time of the year again🎉🎄 what a great way to start the Christmas feeling. Loved the walk through the lighted trail. We go to the park quiet often and to see it light up so beautifully was awesome. Plus it’s free. Do enjoy the lights this year, only till 18 Nov 2022. They also have some food carts available. And you do need to prebook the visit times.

We enjoyed cherry blossom trees early April and easter event on long weekend. Only paid 10 bucks to get trains with lots of decorations for easter and egg hunt with small treats for kids. The event started at 10am. We arrived 10:15 however had to wait for 2 hours to hop on the train. But worth it!

This park has my heart. It’s really big. You can go for a walk, picnic, take the kids to the playground, there’s also outdoor pool but make sure to check before the operating times for it. Also it’s a great place for different photo sessions.

Invoice their newly landscapes areas. The park is absolutely amazing during a sunny summer day and is always busy with families and friends. There are some outer spots where there are less people and it's a nice quiet place to watch some of the local wildlife (bunnies).

Great place to bring young kids to play, it has picnic tables and people were doing BBQs. There's 2 playareas, for younger ages and the other for slightly older children. The place was very crowded, so both the play areas were full, Al the tables were all occupied, so we took our picnic mat and picnic'd on a grassy area. Ample parking area, but that day it was quite full so was alittle difficult to get parking. There was also a football game going on so lots of crowds for that too but that started around dusk time. The bathrooms are near the play areas and it's all painted with under the sea creatures. There's also a small convenient store there that sold a few basic things and fries too...

Pretty cool place to have a picnic on a hot day with the kiddies. Plenty of parking . Have some delicious food around the neighborhood or bring your own. Start off with the splash park to cool down. It's not too big but gets the job done. Afterwards ,chill in the nice grassy knoll and watch some cool kids play cricket. When you've lost interest in that, go and make friends at the playground. The place to be is the twirly thing that can possibly swing so fast you can fly off and get a concussion. The see saw is pretty awesome too. OG wood plank style with a bumper pad on the bottom. Not like your usual see saws these days that are metal and that have springs so it makes it hard to slam one side to the floor to make your nemesis fly off the handles on the opposite end. Next up is the mini trains area. It's like the one at Stanley park. About a 10 min ride. They also have mini golf in the middle of the tracks. Lots of shade in case you need a break from the Vancouver heat. End it off at the store and get yourself a refreshing beverage and tub of cotton candy. Now that's a good day!

Beautiful park conveniently located in Surrey. Public washrooms, waterpark, two playgrounds to offer options for kids of all ages, outdoor pool, track and running path. We also enjoyed the train and mini golf….not much wow but for $10 I can’t complain.

Best park near 144 st Surrey. Huge grounds lots of space to hang out with family and friends. Good for kids for swings. Lots of parking. Only downside is that none of the drinking water stations are working. Make sure you carry your own. Otherwise so nice to go for a walk. Thanks

Very nice park with lots of various amenities. There's a train ride for the children, areas for picnicking including BBQ tables. Tennis courts baseball diamond a football field which is located in the middle of the 400m track, where people can run more briskly walk or stroll. Currently under construction is the new Surrey event Pavilion. This looks to accommodate approximately 2,200 people put the various events that they hold here in Surrey. What aspect of walking around the track that isn't so pleasant is the smell that comes from the sewage located at the entry to the track at the north east corner.

Large beautiful park in the heart of Surrey. The park has an athletic field, garden, kids playground and park. There is also a mini golf and train which we could not explore. The parking is spacious and lots of open slots on a Friday evening. The kids playground has a lot of equipment including a merry-go-round, different kinds of swings, see-saws, slides, spray park, etc. Only downside was the restrooms are being reconstructed and they have makeshift portable toilets. Overall, it is good and definitely worth a visit especially for the well-maintained garden.

This review is for the new fenced-in dog park at Bear Creek off of King George Blvd where an old parking lot used to be (i believe?). I’ve included photos with my review. I find the rest of Bear Creek great and I’ve been there plenty of times over the years but since this dog park is new, I thought I would share my own 2 cents. It took me a while to find this “new fenced-in dog off-leash area”...i only found out about it through the City of Surrey website after looking for new dog parks to take my dog to. I was excited when I found out that Bear Creek finally had one since the park is in a centralized area and there would probably be plenty other dogs for him to play with. It took me a while to find this off-leash area. I circled the whole park until I accidentally stumbled upon it on my way back to my car. There was no information or map online nor were there any updates on their maps on-site or any signage to guide you. I was beginning to think it did not exist. So we finally found it and it’s big enough for dogs to run around in. There are some huge logs and rocks for dogs to jump on and play on but the ground is all GRAVEL. Not the worst but certainly not the best either... i think dogs would enjoy grass more. There’s no division for small vs large dogs which doesn’t bother me but may bother some. There’s also remnants of the old parking stalls which they haven’t taken out at all...they probably don’t intend to. The biggest turn-off was the gravel for sure. A nice future addition would be some sort of water fountain for the dogs...and grass. Plenty of potential for them to hopefully upgrade some time..otherwise I don’t see myself coming here as much. Also, some signage and map updates (online and on-site) so more people are aware of this new dog park.

A beauty of a park; absolute joy to bring kids to this excellent public park. A huge water park with lots of grass and shade areas for picnic or hiding from the sun. Awesome ice cream truck at the parking lot. The train ride is awesome for the kids and worth the $5 admission price. Food available as well. Playground area is also huge, perfect for the kids. What about the adults? Go dive into the pubic pool and escape from the summer heat. Surrey residents are so lucky to have this awesome park!!

No traffic noise. No need to cross intersections. Very peaceful place. Two tracks to choose from. The blue track is open to all. The red track is closed to public for some reason between 5 and 8 pm. The lights on the red track are turned off at 10:27 pm. This is a lovely place to come with family and friends.
