Just an amazing place with such a relaxing welcome when I come home. I saw some action this past weekend. Someone was moving a full house from the mainland to one of the islands in BC, Canada. There were a few people witnessing this move and it was refreshing to see this sustainable move. Usually a house will be demolished and a new one built, but this one has a second life. Now the park itself - is amazing. A very good place to launch your kayaks, skim board, kayaks etc. The waters are very calm and serene and you have good view of the beautiful landscaped water facing backyards people keep. Kayaking here is the best way to enjoy this.

Really nice little park with a nice trail but I really want the houses with the gardens facing the water because they are simply beautiful

The park itself is a great walk but be careful about parking just past Elgin Bridge there is very limited parking. You're better to drive down crescent road and go to either the Stewart farm house or the park parking lot and leave this area clear for the kayaking enthusiasts.

Quick portage around the Elgin Road bridge. Western side has a nice wide gravel beach with access to the limited parking and road. Eastern side is a narrow trail down to the water with just enough room to launch a kayak in the grass. Water is stagnant so the East entrance is full of algae but a few paddle strokes quickly takes you past it.

There's honestly not much here, and traffic along Elgin road is pretty constant so without a light carrying a canoe across here would be tough. It is interesting to see the 110 year old bridge/dam though, if you hang around long enough you can watch the doors swing open and shut.

A great place for a walk, nature viewing, and family time. So much to see while you walk this part of the Nicomekl

Super pretty and quiet trail. Definitely doesn’t make you feel like you are in surrey. Hidden gem for sure.

It's a beautiful walk along the river, there's plenty of wild life like blue heron to spot along the way

This Park, on the Banks of the Nicomekl River, is a Conservation Park, with a trail marker, "Marking the beginning of the Semiahmoo Trail". The River is a Salmon River and would be interesting the right time of year. Nice Walk ..... Thanks PS: The address is not correct on the Surrey Parks website and is a private residence. (The pin is correct).
