Came into an empty restaurant, only one table of customers (an elderly couple) ignored by the first staff member. Second staff member, a lady, came over to try and shoo me out. Said they were all booked up. I asked what time they closed and she seemed hesitant to give me an answer, but mentioned 7pm. I was a bit surprised since they open at 5, a two hour service doesn’t make sense. We got the impression we were being turned away for a different reason. Can’t recommend this place as it’s not welcoming to certain groups.

Getting a little tired, Think 80s. Chairs have no cushion to them anymore. Service is good but it was quiet. Not sure what time they close officially but we knew it was time to leave when the music stopped lol. I suggest 8 pm ?? Food is excellent! Salmon.

Visited tonight with friends and found the food to be very tasty. Linda the owner was very helpful recommending the right red wine paired with our food. The salad with goat cheese and seafood were delicious as well. My favoirtie was the mango curry prawn entree but my husband and friend raved about the paella! I gave their restaurant a 4, for the casual ambience but the food is worth a visit. Thanks Linda for you kind, welcoming, down to earth personality. We will be back!

I really love this little family managed restaurant. If you are looking for great food, good wine and personal attention and fair pricing this is it. We had Mango curried seafood, filet mignion, garlic herb prawns and all dishes were delicious. I also love their small salads as starter, especially the one with grilled Brie. But there are a variety of other starter options too. The chocolate truffle desert is to die for. A dinner at the Bistro well worth the drive from North Vancouver.

Oyster special to start was very good. I ordered the paella as an earlier review had rated it excellent. They had obviously never had paella before. Very fresh seafood served over yellow rice. Not baked, not chorizo and I've never had carrots and stuffed olives in paella before. My wife had the lamb chops which were good.

Easily our favorite restaurant in South Surrey....seafood always cooked perfectly delicious and my husband's favourite is their rack of lamb and oysters for starters. Bonus fact: except for the pasta nearly everything is gluten free!

Trout was fresh and delicious. Salmon was also delicious. Vegetables were fresh and delicious.

Lamb shank sweet & tender, salmon soup & mussels & clams excellent.all the Seafood dishes five stars. Coconut Cheese cake was given to the birthday girl.

Celebrated my mother in law’s 88th birthday at this cozy restaurant. The owners are so kind. She gave her a mini cake with a sparkler which made it so special with birthday song. We were so touched at how the owners catered to our needs. Me & my husband thank you for your kindness. The Paella was fantastic- loved every bite we had. Thank you again!

First time back in several years. The food was delicious. Had daily specials, fried oysters and seafood pasta. Prepared beautifully with fresh quality ingredients. The service was very good and friendly. The only negative observation would be that it looks all very “ tired”. Noticed dust and stain on window sills and chairs. Would give 5 stars if not for that. Overall we had a wonderful meal with good service.

Food was delicious. I never really like eating in an otherwise empty restaurant. As a consequence of the lack of other customers, service was excellent!

Amazing food I had the pan seared salmon and it was delicious My husband had the seafood corrtidone and he says the muscles taste like they were just caught. Loving the atmosphere as well

Cool location and best fries I've had in a long time

I can't believe that we have driven past this restaurant so many times and not realized what a gem this is. Like other reviews, this chef really knows how to turn out fabulous food, accompanied by wonderful service out front! We will be back soon... and bring our friends next time too!

Have been coming here for many many years, it’s a real gem. Consistently great food, and my favourite place for seafood as it’s always cooked perfectly.

Great cozy place good staff, excellent cook and excellent food, nice night out been going there for quite a few years now missed badly during early covid.
