Not answering phones. Not returning calls when they promised to do so. No appointment system. I walked in and scheduled a time with them twice. In the first time I’ve waited for 1hr to see the doctor. In the second time I’ve been told to come back again because one specific doctor does not offer the medical service I requested at that day. There’s also another time I went to the clinic and they told me at 4pm that they’re done for the day, but the opening hours on Google Map clearly said the closing time is 6pm. During these visits I also saw people arguing with staffs at the counter... I really hope this review would help improve their business or at least prevent more tragedies.... I know it’s tough to run business under the pandemic situation but the service itself should and could definitely be done better......

Now 1 star. Don't have that you are open on a Saturday if you have no doctors available for walk in. Waste of my time. Was 5 stars 3 months ago:Did a walk-in as a new patient. Fast service, doctor was great.

Trust in a doctor instead of my imagination or conclusions. This is my new motto since my wife ‘s heart attack.I called Dr. Teskey explaining my wife’s symptoms .my wife and I thought it must of been the clams she ate . Dr. Teskey went straight to the point, he mentioned it might be a long day at the hospital but at least you won’t regret it if she is really in trouble He told me please call 911 he insisted, well it surely wasn’t the food,it was a heart attack, the hospital said it was lucky that I brought her in so soon . Through the test they discovered very important information that basically saving her life. A week later she returned home.Would I have blamed him if she was fine and wasted my day at the hospital or thought Doctors jump to conclusions.Well they are made of flesh and blood and don’t have all the answers, but truly and surly want to save lives. How do you thank a Doctor like Dr.Teskey.They just simply think it’s what they love to do help and save someone they don’t even know.Lets send love their way.

My doctor is Dr. Bhana and I have alway had great experiences with her and the other doctors when I cannot see her. My one star review has to do with every other aspect of dealing with this clinic. Nobody EVER answers the phone. I don't know why they think people are calling, but considering that you are running a medical clinic you could assume that the majority of people are calling because they need help for some reason. Recently I have obtained an email address that I can send messages to the attention of my doctor through one of the office staff. This is usually because there is some kind of mixup in a prescription, or other administrative issue. Sometimes the problem gets resolved, sometimes it doesn't. Either way I never receive a reply to my email. The only way to get an appointment seems to be using the online tool, as nobody answers the phone or replies to email. This is the worst piece of programming I have ever dealt with. You have to literally change the date until you land on a date that has availability, rather than the tool showing you a calendar with days that have available appointments. Also, the only kind of appointment I can book is a telephone consult , even though Dr. Bhana has told me that in-person appointments are now possible. I am 65 years old and have been dealing with a chronic disease for 22 years. Sometime I need to actually see my doctor and have here see me. My impression of the office staff isn't that they are uncaring. I agree with another reviewer who said that they are overwhelmed. Get someone who knows what they are doing to design some systems to actually serve your clientele. We only call or try to book online or visit because we need your care.

Today I have to write because it's 3rd time I Ieft this place very Unhappy and without seeing a doctor. They are never helpful over the phone, I bet you try anyway. Their timings are fake because they really don't accept anyone after 4oclock. On asking a question on my case today receptionists yelled on me leaving a racial comment about my identity. If this is how you represent Canadian services any country I will say even India is way better than you. Your job is to listen and help but you make your patients feel guilty over choosing you. They really don't care who's coming in or leaving because greeting is not a culture there as everyone look so busy managing themselves. You have a beautiful office Learn how to comfort people, as everyone coming in for you needs help always. Success starts when ego die. Don't be disgrace over doctors name. Sorry If mentioning something hurts but this place really needs a doctor 😅. 100% genuine feedback or try your luck.

I wish I could give 0 rating to the receptionists.I booked 1 week ahead for my baby's 1st week appointment by calling the clinic. They called me 1 day before my appointment and asked me to book a walk in appointment instead as they said my family doctor doesn't work on this day. When I tried to book appointment the system didn't let me. I tried same thing over and over again from 12am to 7 am. Then I came to the clinic and explained the situation but the receptionist was dismissing my concern. And even asked me to go to some other clinic. When I asked them to talk to the doctor and explain the situation, she asked me to wait another hour and then she said she doesn't guarantee the doctor will still see the baby. No manners and doesn't take responsibility for their own mistakes. I wish I had changed the clinic years ago.

I love my Doctor Dr. Bhana. She is on leave. The receptionist double book the patients and then tell you that there is wait time. I am sitting in the clinic now ,had an appointment at 10:30 and I was told that there is at least half an hour wait.I am sitting there and waiting but who cares I don't have any work to do or I will lose my job if I don't reach at my work on time but these receptionists don't care coz they have their jobs. I mean what in the world is the meaning of making an appointment????? So frustrating. I hate this clinic receptionists and their behavior and unprofessionalism.

waste of time, they took over 1 month to check my blood test results, then they answer the phone and the MOA says ill check right now, yep there fine , basically took her 5 seconds, she snot even allowed to give that information over the phone, didn't confirm who is calling, giving sensitive info over the phone, and she snot a doctor who should be reading results!

If you come to this clinic then avoid Dr. Smit. I asked to see my medical record and he denied me access and insisted on me paying for a Dr. Note instead. Obviously money hungry. Clearly he doesn’t know that B.C. has a freedom of information act and it’s my legal right to have access to the information in my personal records. And it is his legal duty to provide me with such information upon request. He was extremely rude and had no idea what he was talking about. Wouldn’t even give me a reason as to why he won’t release my information to me. After a phone call with The College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC, he called me back allowing me access to my information. BUT I need to pay $37 for my chart notes yet a Doctor note is $20. Dr. Smit is Money hungry, extremely rude, and doesn’t know his patients rights. PS: to Dr. Smit. Next time if you’re unsure of information, just look it up instead of being so rude and stubborn.

Worst experience ever. The doctor didn’t even read the paperwork that was submitted for our claim. He didn’t even know that my family member was in a car accident even though it was stated in the paperwork submitted to him and then sent a form to work safe saying my family member was fit for work when he is clearly not. Absolutely disgusted with how my family has been treated at this clinic and would not recommend to anyone.

I absolutely love this clinic! Dr. Teskey is the only doctor I will go to, I prefer him over my family doctor. I was recommended him by word of mouth and I'm so glad I went there. He has helped me numerous times, as well as first child and is now going to be the only doctor I take my new second child to as well. I like that he's honest and blunt and doesn't mess around. He actually listens to you and has never failed to solve my problem. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a better doctor! The whole staff is just amazing and friendly, always so sweet to me but Teskey is by far the best!

This is the second time, I visited the clinic. I have never been this disappointed from a Doctor. Old very fair looking doctor (white guy). Did not properly evaluated me. Did not even try to listen to my problems. The same attitude was experienced by my co worker (same doctor). even the staff wont recommend him to anyone. I am sure the other doctors in the clinic are good. Have heard good things about them, but unfortunately I had always encountered him. Sorry but very disappointing.

Let me start by saying that contrary to what some of the reviews are saying, it is "not" a walk-in clinic for everyone, it is a walk-in clinic only for kids under 12. My wife was able to get our daughter to see a Doctor by walking in. The current receptionist (unfortunately, don't remember the name, visited last week) is incredibly efficient, organized with excellent attention to detail. The Doctor that my daughter saw, Dr. Teskey, is probably as close to a perfect family physician you can get. Dr. Teskey actively listened to the problems, didn't rush you in anyway, asked several questions to understand the issues and took a proper investigative approach to confirm the diagnosis. He was also honest and direct in explaining things, without being rude. To top it all, he has an awesome sense of humor. We were lucky to add both me and my wife as his patients. I have had a couple of issues that needed attention, and after several frustrating and unsuccessful appointments with the previous family Dr., I saw Dr. Teskey, and for the reasons mentioned above, we have an excellent plan in place to resolve my health issues. The clinic was also very clean and the attached Naz pharmacy is very helpful as well. I did two visits, and my wife along with my daughter one, and we had nothing but a great experience all three times. I can't speak for other Doctors at the clinic, but Dr. Teskey is as good as it gets for a family physician. Regarding wait times, it is true that appointments aren't easy to get, and that is the sorry state of Canadian Health-care System we have, and not the clinic's fault.

The front desk staff here are some of the worst I have encountered in my life. They äctually have put up a closed sign in the front window.. To keep people out...I was informed. Then they try and direct you to a little screen to check in... As I guess they don't care to interact with people. Once you escape the front desk crew, I must admit the actual doctor I see is one of the best I have had in recent years.

Dr Bana is an awesome docter have no issues with the others docters as well, the biggest hassle is getting a chance to speak with a receptionist to book an appointment. In the last 3 days my appointment got rescheduled and today i have called 10 times to get a hold of the receptionist yet no luck, hopefully someone answers my fone before Christmas

I’ve been visiting dr Bhana since I moved to Canada. I can say that she is best doctor as she listen their customer’s concern, she is very nice and helpful.Reception staff was helpful as well but these days I’m not sure if they are short of staff or busy. Sometimes there is long wait for answering call. Hope they will improve their service.

On Jan 31st I was feeling terrible with bronchitis so decided to get to a walk in clinic to get medication asap. I looked online after my friend told me of Triton and checked waiting time to be "0". I went straight down to a waiting room full of people. I went to the middle receptionist and she said to come back at 12. It was 9:30 at the time. I mentioned the web check in time and she said they had just updated it and come back at 12. So I came home and happened to check waiting time there and it said 1 hour. Oh well since I ASSUMED I had an appointment at 12 I went back at 10 to 12 and told her I was there. The room was full, who were all served, and people came in and were taken in but my turn finally came about an hour and a half later when the room was EMPTY. I was the last one sitting there at the time. My friend who had recommended this place came in twice to check if I was done and was astonished to see me still sitting there. What was with this receptionist???I am still bothered by this treatment. Why did she make sure I was at the bottom of the list? By the way I loved the doctor Tesky, he helped me with finding out more about the asthma.

If you want to get in quick, arrive half an hour before opening because a line waits outside!!! Don’t be surprised if you come at opening and there’s already a 1 hour wait. Doctor Teskey took extra time to educate me on various facts and handled the subject professionally and comedic to break the ice. I’ll be back to see him if I need a clinic visit!

For a walk-in they will tell you a lower price and no waiting time to lure you in and then you pay double of what you were told on the phone and wait for hours. You’re skilled at your trade!

Current update June 2018 - New receptionists! First impressions are positive. Hope this continues:) Old review below... Doctors are great! Reception staff could be a lot more helpful. People who come into clinics generally aren't feeling well and the majority of us don't know your procedures. No one is a mind reader so don't just look at people in silence expecting them to understand that after they hand you their culture that they are free to leave. Try the traditional "Thanks! Have a great day!" I'm also still waiting to hear back about my 1st culture taken over a month ago & my 2nd culture and blood test done 10 days ago. I was told 3-4 days both times. I just called their office to inquire, only to get their after hours voicemail. It's 2:10 on a Sunday. The hours are 9-3pm.

Been here twice (once for my newborn and once for myself) and I’m just blown away by how kind the staff and doctors are. Saw Dr. Teskey today and my toddler was so nervous (even though it was my appointment) and he was incredibly sweet to her. He even drew a smiley face on a tongue depressor and she’s been carrying it around smiling. I also really like that you can check their wait times on the MediMap site.

Dear Dr. Smit, It's a really shame that your office over charged me being a new comer to Canada, and to the heights, called me almost after month to say I owe your office 100 dollars. I gave all transactions details on phone and they said okay. The peak unprofessional of your office reached to the next level by sending me over due invoice which I received today. I am really unhappy and hurt with such an insult to me and to my reputation. I never complained, even after I came to know that your office overcharged me and cheated me. I didn't get any relief from your treatment either and when I called them to update and request for follow up, your office said I have to pay fee for follow up that is 150 dollars . I am not a fool that I wanted to get cheated again and again, and hence I switched the office. Now I am thinking of taking legal action in this regard and will soon update you and your office regarding the same. With not so good regards Dr. Sujit Pradhan

Don’t recommend dr smit, go look him up on rateMD. I been having an ear infection for the past 3 months. On my last visit I told dr smit I still have pain and discomfort in the ear but he basically checked inside my ear and said it’s fine and sent me out. Each visit feels very rushed and he fails to acknowledge I have neck pain which I brought up each visit. They must be getting paid for each visit since they’re so quick to kick me out and provide bad medical care. I would go somewhere else for complex issues

Honestly, I really really like the doctor I see at this clinic; however I've been patient with this clinic, but today I think I will be going elsewhere. To create a whole online booking system and still not following the times people book appointments is the most ridiculous thing ever. Then you have to go through hoops to get a hold of a receptionist. The 2.8 rating makes sense. Doctor calls earlier than my booked time. If I was given an actual accurate range of time I wouldn't have missed the call. Its literally impossible to book any appointment here then I called the receptionist back at 11:47 (not too long after the call was missed) and they said they would let the doctor know. Then at 12:15pm> im waiting by my phone. I call back the of course phones are off; which I get breaks and all, but I've never had a pleasant experience booking at this clinic. When I finally get an appointment with the doctor its fine, but going through these hoops just to get a simple prescription, note, or follow-up is wild. I really liked Dr. Teskey cause every time I had a successful appointment with him cause he actually cares, but I'll most likely be transferring to a different clinic/doctor cause the process for this clinic is too much for me.

No one ever answers the phone. After 3 days finally got through. They told me to book online and would not book over the phone. Online glitched out and when it finally worked my doctor was not on the list to book with. Most frustrating clinic to make an appointment with my doctor that I have ever experienced. Too bad because I like my doctor.

I have been going to this clinic to see Dr. Bhana since they first opened. There are a lot of negative reviews, but honestly, I haven't had any bad experiences in the last 7+ years I've been going. Do I have trouble getting through on the phone sometimes? Yes, but I assume there is a flood of people in the waiting room, so I hang up and call back later. I always end up speaking with someone when I call back. As for in person, yes, sometimes they are stressed, but they have always been respectful and nice. Treat them how you would want to be treated. Dr. Bhana: She is a wonderful doctor who we have been seeing since 2014. My family is very grateful to have her as our family doctor. She is on time with most of the appointments and we never feel rushed when we are with her. She listens and genuinely cares for her patients. Dr. Teskey: My son (4 y/o) had a fever, cough and his breathing was quite rapid (not Covid). We were concerned it was pneumonia, so made an appointment with Dr. Teskey, as Dr. Bhana was not working that day. He advised my son's lungs sounded clear, but to be safe, it would be best to take him to emerg for a chest x-ray. He explained how my son might have asthma whenever he gets a cold, hence the rapid breathing and prescribed puffers. When my husband got home, I realized that to save time at emerg, it would be helpful if Dr. Teskey wrote an x-ray requisition. I called the clinic (reception picked up right away) and explained the situation. I was put on hold while she spoke with Dr. Teskey and told that I could go back to the clinic and the requisition would be ready right away. Thank goodness we did this, because it sped up the x-ray process at the hospital and we didn't have to wait long. We got the x-ray results and everything was clear, just as Dr. Teskey had thought. The next day, Dr. Teskey personally called us to ask how our son was doing and if the puffer had helped. He said the x-rays were sent to him and they looked good. Although it was a little gesture for him to call us, we very much appreciated how much he cares for his patients.

This is my favourite clinic! The receptionists are really nice and professional which is not at all common in clinics in Surrey. The place is super clean and modern. There are long wait times sometimes and walk in closes early, but its understandable. Dr Smit is nice and knowledgable. The only thing I don't like is how you must pay for a doctors note for class/work.

Dr Teskey is the best doctor hands down. he’s a no nonsense straight to the point kinda guy and will tell you if you’re worrying about something silly! which i very much appreciate because i tend to google symptoms. My husband had been seeing him for years and suggested i start going to him aswell, i’m very thankful i did. we drive from white rock to see him and would drive from farther if needed. Not like it used to be. Otherwise it would have 5* from me. It’s still a great medical clinic but room for improvement. The reception are usually friendly in person.when calling I find otherwise unless I get one that remembers me. Been going to see these Drs for years even when they were in 84th in Delta. The Drs are great they don’t just hand out pills and call it a day, which I like. They do tests and follow ups.

Doctors and receptionists are knowledgeable but the system is unclear and frustrating. One would figure these Medical Offices are suppose to take the burden off the hospitals and emergency rooms but NO. Not in my case but pharmacists can save most people more time then these types of offices now a days.

This place has became worse in recent times. In summer I took my mother for walkin, waited 40 minutes in the line before clinic opened. They only took 4 people ahead of us and then said they r full for the day. This month I was there in freezing cold waiting to get antibiotics for severe flu. When receptionist opened the door she said u guys can come right way in. Imagine I was the first in line and told they have no appointment available for today. So why u inviting patients inside when there is nothing , not even single spot. Why it’s a big deal for putting a sign That clinic is full. So patient can go try another clinic Instead of waiting and getting more worese in cold weather. I got bunch of medicine from Walmart and quit the idea going another walk in.Dr. Are ok here but if u can reach them which is liking winning a lotto but their system is a shame. Walk-in clinic should do better as people don’t get family Drs easily..I will never return to this clinic again.

Had to book almost 2 months out for a Drs appointment, day of, which is today, FEB 1, I received a call saying the DR wasn’t coming to the office but will do a phone appointment, which I said was fine, was told I would get called between 1 and 5pm… NO PHONE CALL!!! And I can’t even make an appointment online cause she’s booked up for the next 2 months and the calendar doesn’t go any further. I need to speak with the DR based on my appointment I had already made!! Called the office which is open till 6 but they obviously shut the phone lines down at 5 as they aren’t accepting any calls. EDIT: Moved it up to 3 stars (Feb 2). I was able to get through to reception this morning on the first try. She was polite and apologetic informing me that the Dr. was not able to call anyone yesterday. Made another appointment for me for today via phone with another doctor that is supposed to be calling. It's almost 3PM so let's see if that happens. If that happens, review will go up to 4 stars, if not, back down to 1. Also received call from another person at the office regarding my 1 star review. Explained what happened and she was very apologetic... I actually felt bad for her as the entire office seems extremely overwhelmed. EDIT. As promised i am moving to 4 stars as 2 doctors called me and fulfilled what I needed.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and Dr Tadros was prompt and polite. I will go back for all walk-in appointments in the future.

The staff here is careless and fail to provide the standard of care that is required for patient safety. And when you question, why they cancelled appointments without informing the patient, they run their doctor under the bus by saying the doctor told us to do so. Well guess what the doctor also pays you inform patients of cancellations. At the very least, have the humility to accept your mistake than showing unnecessary attitude to patients over the phone. Definitely filing a formal complaint to Fraser Health along with necessary proofs and how they talk to patients over the phone to expose their unprofessionalism.

The physiotherapist Nishant is an overall caring, knowledgeable guy . He takes great pride in his work and is a good people person. Hes really easy to relate to. He always take the time to explain what hes doing to heal your body and why the excercises are beneficial for the long run. Im 19 and had my first accident a few months back and it caused a lot of pain in my back, my neck and shoulder area and with the help of nishant im on a good road to recovery.

I went to the clinic yesterday having trouble breathing and chest pains, the reception was booked for the morning but was able to squeeze me in due to the severity of my breathing. Dr. Teskey went above and beyond to care of me and help me to be able to breathe again. They thought I needed the ER so called 911 and had them take me, I am in awe of how great they were with me and would recommend them to anyone looking for proper care. They were so thorough and what they couldn’t do I had done at the hospital because he sent me there, if it wasn’t for him I probably wouldn’t have gone. Thank you all so very much from the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful. Especially during Covid times and long waits! You are all appreciated.

Whenever I visit there is no doctor available then why you have opened clinic if always there is no available appointments or doctor. There prices are very high from all other medical clinics so its better to visit other clinic than this one.

I saw Dr Yuen I think, for a wood splinter in my thumb and he was most pleasant, as was the receptionist. He got a tool that got it out in 2 tries, in about 3 seconds, without trying to pry it out with a needle. It was great! I also appreciated VERY much that they were open on a Saturday.

This place is a joke staff should be sued for treating people so poorly. No Appointment support. Booked a telephone consultation with DR. Smit on Tuesday no one called. Had to visit clinic in person. Doctor has zero knowledge got stuck with him due to icbc claim. Had two accidents in the past. Can’t move left arm or carry weight. I m currently going through lot of pain and functional disabilities. Doctors walked out of office with very vague explanations stating i need to talk to ICBC for time off and finish functional assessment with them not with physician when he should be the one doing it. ICBC adjuster is not a medical adviser even my adjuster felt pity for me for getting treated so badly from a physician Dr. Smit Gave me antidepressants pills for off label use for nerve pain knowing that person is working full time with zero explanation . Got so sick after taking meds couldn’t eat or do my daily job duties at work even though i was taking meds in the evening. Doctor didn’t think about changing meds or giving a lower dose or a different alternative. Literally referred me to chronic pain clinic instead of acknowledging my other issues. Employer sending me home constantly because i m not able to do my job duties but Doctor think there is nothing wrong with me. Poor judgements can literally ruin someone’s health. Now ICBC adjuster asking me to visit a different physician to get a proper treatment. If you can’t treat people properly please leave health care profession alone for sake of god.

The location has lots of free parking. You can do an online booking. The facility us clean and the receptionist was very nice. You have the option of leaving and returning just before the estimated time the doctor can see you. The doctor himself was efficient but stiis took the time to do an examination.

Their hours on google maps and medimap.ca do not match. I came in at 9:30 on a Saturday and it was closed. Online they tell you "new patients cannot book appointments online". On the door of the clinic a piece of paper says "all new patients should book online". I could have seen a doctor today and gotten the help I needed. Now it's too late in the day for anything but the ER.

Went to 2 other clinics and by 11am they were already at capacity for the day (Tuesday). This place is clean, had to show our covid negative test (daughter only, patient) and got in within 5 minutes. I would come here again. Very efficient.

Nishant mahajan(physiotherapist) is incredibly fabulous person, very soft spoken, great listener and gentle individual. He takes care of his patients in a very courteous manner and he always makes them feel confident. Without his help and coordination i would not have been able to recover at all.other than that if i had the power to give him more than 5 stars i would have definitely given him 10 stars..

Horrible service! I consistently call beforehand to ask what is the best time for me to come in, and when i come in at that time they tell me "come later at this time". Whats the point of having this place as a walk in clinic if i can't even walk in. This has occurred multiple times and the staff is rude. Very disappointed.

Went there two days in a row. First day I was told to come back tomorrow between 12 and 2 . So I go there next day 12.30. They told me they are closed now come back Monday. Receptionist was rude.

I've been here couple of times and the staff is just great. The doctor was super helpful and knowledgeable. You know those walk-in clinics where the doctor just sees you for like few seconds and pushes you out the door? Well, this was definitely not like that. She is a great listener and gave me great advice/feedback. And she has a good sense of humor too which I think is important in this field.

They call themselves a walk-in clinic but they're not. They're also not taking any more patients, so you can't book an appointment. Yet you only find out about this when you show up. I just needed a simple procedure done. They couldn't help me. We need a private option for medical treatment. The public model just doesn't work, the doctors/nurses/receptionists are usually incompetent and the taxes ridiculously high for low quality service like this.
