Nice little park to hang out at in Simcoe. Really tiny beach and a small park area with about 6 picnic tables so if it’s busy they’ll most likely be taken. Has a nice little store across the street for some drinks, snacks, food and ice cream which comes in handy. Limited paid parking available across the street as well. Decent spot to hang out for a while if you’re in the area.

I last visited this place 3 years ago and on this limited vacation of mine I made sure I savor the tranquility of Willow Wharf and beach. Very refreshing and relaxing site. Well recommended to everybody. The family I invited here finds the place attractive and peaceful.

Great spot in GTA area for night sky watch - meteor showers and northern light. It was busy last August during the peak of Perseid meteor shower. Below is a few shots from August 2021 Oct 2021 and July 2022.

Gorgeous little spot to stop for a little bite to eat in the summer also has a cute little general store with the cottage vibe that has lots of cold drinks and ice cream ready on hot days . Also a very scenic walk out point that you can go look into the water for fish on those nice days or just dip your toes in and hope you don’t catch anything from lake simcoe water ;)

I like going to Willow Park specifically once Ban on BBQ came in. Before you go, and smoke just kills you. It's impossible to breathe and find a spot to chill with family. Now it's enjoyable to come there after work and enjoy the lake. The only thing I don't like about park is the road that runs next to the beach. It's a very dangerous thing. I don't understand why city just close the road utleast on weekend. All tjw do is put couple police cars to watch the public. My dog got hit with the car and past away at this beach. Sometimes, I'm very worried about kids running out on the road because there is lots of people driving their car a little drunk.

Not a bad little spot to stop as you're driving along Lake Drive taking in Lake Simcoe views. You can grab a hot dog or ice cream cone at the Variety store here. It's a nice place to stop and take in the sunset over the lake.

I went here mid March for a drive along the lake. Stop here for a few minutes. There is limited free parking for 20 mins (like 7-8 cars). For more parking they have another pay and park lot nearby.

This was our spontaneous trip and it turned out great!! I can easily visit more than once. Such a peaceful place. Been here 2 months ago. For parking, you need to buy something from the ice cream shop and you can park for 20 mins. Good deal for that sunset !!!

This is a great place with a nice small Beach and a large Wharf that you can jump off of. There's also a nice old General store across the street that the kids can get ice cream and Penny Candy from. We go here all the time on the weekend.

A great end point when out for a northerly road ride. We stop here often and have often gone for a quick dip before remounting our bikes and heading south. Love this place!

Wonderful small beach. Grocery store at the corner. Good hot dog and tasty ice cream. Free parking for 20 mins. Paid parking is $4 per hour on weekends and $2/hour on weekdays.

A good biking trail. Back and forth, it takes about 38 km. The place is friendly for bikers end hikers. This time it was yet cold and not crowded. We’ve got lucky to have sunny weather and modest wind. Lake Simcoe was still covered in ice and created scenic landscapes for a few shots. A few places are still closed, and we were able to park in the neighborhood. The official Parking lot also has enough space. Most of the ice cream places were closed, and I guess not the best weather to have one now 😉

Well i rate this park the best because i saw northern lights from this very location. The waves voice is so soothing in the night. It was the best experience.

Small beach place, but it's family friendly place, kids enjoy the water and sunshine. There is a small paid parking, watching out your time cos the parking enforcement will give your ticket if it is expried.

This is my go to beach spot to get away from the City! There is a convivence store right by the beach that has lots of snacks and a full ice cream bar (Kawartha Dairy) They also have food like Hot dogs, Burgers and Fries to buy during the Summer. The staff at the store are super friendly and the lady that makes the food is the sweetest! Parking here during the summer is $10 for the whole day which is such a great price! There are porta potties in the parking lot as well. This is a very small beach and gets packed pretty fast in the summer however there are about 5 picnic tables, 2 benches that have great Lakeview's and a small grassy/sandy area. There is an L shaped walkway on the water that is a good spot for pictures and catching the sunset.
