It's an underrated visit. Our kids found it brilliant. They not only got to understand chocolate making process, but also got to decorate their own bar and tried different varieties. And then we had a picnic just outside. Not to forget the amazing staff.

The self-guided tour of the factory floor was great, and we created our own chocolate bar! The store has a nice selection of chocolates, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely worth a visit !!

Wonderful place with a set of great people. As their slogan goes, the place is all about happiness. The people out there are happy and they know how to make sure that you actually leave the place feeling quite happy. Great chocolates and we do get lot of free samples and the price at the factory stores is relatively low. You have a great view of the Swiss country side with cows grazing happily and lot of friendly people around. You would not learn much about chocolate making processes with the visit but it definitely is a great and memorable experience.

Diese erinnern an « Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ».

The chocolate manufactory is very nicely done and you have the chance to make a tour and acutally see, how chocolate is beeing made. Besides there are tons of possibilities to try some of the superb chocolate. You can even make a chocolate bar of your own - your onw creation!

Fantastic! A must visit if you like chocolate. The tour details quite well the way the different ingredients take before they get turnes into chocolate. It's presented in a very entertaining way to that people of all ages are easily able to understand the tour. I was there on a Saturday so I could not see the factory running but the videos and graphics still explained everything quite well. Highlight of the tour is the self-made chocolate. Absolutely worth every cent. Would reconsider going back just for that (although paying the entrance fee on top might be too expensive for just one very good bar of chocolate).

Such lovely and kind staff! Made the experience better! Who doesn’t love chocolate!? The gift shop had a wide selection too and my only regret was not buying more of the white label chocolate for 1CH. Would visit again!

What a wonderful place to learn about the making of Swiss Chocolate. The touring area is a Willy Wonka style, children's paradise with many interactive activities. The "big kids" will enjoy too. Chocolate tasting opportunities are available with excellent results. There is a workshop to make your own chocolate bar at the end. I am not sure of the cost because we had a private tour with a cruise group that included the activity in a separate room. Really a fun activity. We did not use the phone app available for an audio tour because we had a guide with us but heard it worked pretty well and is available in English. There are hand sanitizing stations everywhere and readily available before tasting opportunities. Most people are not wearing a mask so if you feel more comfortable with one would recommend an N95 for optimal protection.

While for all of the EU countries yellow, paper certificate, is OK, it happens that we travel from Osnabrück about 1000 km to see Chokolarium, just to hear: "Yes, you are 3 times vaccinated, but it doesn't work here by us." It was a huge surprise, because in Kreuzlingen, nearby, our paper certificate was accepted without any problem.

Amazing location, wonderful factory, but the best of all is the chocolates you get to eat/buy at Maestrani's. My family just loved every second of the 2 hours we spent there. A big 👍

We have been to chocolate museums in Belgium, Germany, and this one in Switzerland…and this was hands down our favorite. The tour and free samples all over the place made it extremely entertaining for the entire family, and the entry fee was very reasonable (when comparing to others we have been to). Not to mention, we are partial to Swiss chocolate!

Amazing experience!! So worth it and very reasonably priced!! See how chocolate is made and you even can make your own chocolate bar! Very magical experience! And the employees were so happy!

Super gut!

A good place to visit with kids. I was a bit sceptical after Lindt chocolate museum (what else can they show here?), but the place is totally worth it. Kids would especially love create-your-own-chocolate room.

Excellent place to spend the day with the kids, exploring the art of making chocolate. The factory tour is really interesting, with lots of educational exibits, and one has several chances to taste a bit of chocolate along the way! Highly recommended!

If you love chocolate, this is the place to be. Nicely presented and partly interactive for the children. And yes, you can try as much chocolate as you like 😇

Man sollte vorab Tickets kaufen.

The only thing that get doubled when shared is happiness. This quote was quoted after visiting the factory. It is very organized and enjoyable experience to learn regarding the chocolate and tasting it. Do not forget to make your own chocolate bar at the end of the visit.

Easy parking, did the tour and all had a great time and learnt a lot. Free samples did not disappoint, saw the real factory which was super interesting. Thoroughly enjoyed it. If I had to criticise I'd say the Cafe environment could be improved.

Discovery tour is great for kids and definitely add the decorating your own chocolate option. Well worth the money!

If you're looking for a place that your children can learn how the chocolate produce and all the raw materials survey you're at right place. There is a route that you are following the manufacturing processes and you can taste them. On the way you can see the inside of factory too. Last part child can make his/her own designed tablets too. Also there is a Cafe and a chocolate shop. Simple but good...

The kids loved it ... informative and entertaining for all ages and lots of chocolates to taste from. Make sure you buy in advance the tickets for kids to make their own chocolate bar and decorate it

I was watching many reviews from other fabrics and this one took our attention, we went there a d honestly is the best thing we did. If you bring kids definitely THIS IS YOUR FABRIC even if you don't bring as us. We love " play" and learn with interactive games, taste and do our chocolate bar I thing that's THE TOP at the end. To me the chocolate taste so much better than other popular chocolates but is different too, this is more chocolate the other is more chocolate with flavors, sweets. Etc. 100% I wanna comeback. ❤️

Great experience. Very nice entrance. Entertaining film at the beginning of the visit. Many spots to test chocolate during the visit. A lot of interaction points make the experience very funny for adults and kids. Great gamma of liquid chocolate tastes to try. Self made chocolate bar at the end is another amazing experience. Sure to come back here again in the future.
