Wonderful area with fresh air. Mountains and lake...walkable too but you should wear sneaker at least. Funicular is fun and scary a same time. 106% gradient. The last one what come down from the mountain it was at 6pm in mid September. 24people can sit on it Very worthy to go up and stay and relax there.

Best if you reserve your way up and down on internet otherwise you will have limitations. If you plan to have a hike around the lake I would suggest to allocate 2+ hours which should be sufficient. No food available on the top but you can buy some cheese and other food at the bottom.

Finally got to experience the famous Gelmerbahn ride! It’s a lil bit scary since the mountain is sooo high and sooo straight like you have that feeling of falling 😅🤭 but rest assured, you’re secured in the seat and it runs slow like you could captured everything up there with your phone. Instragrammable ☑️Scenic and relaxing ☑️ The return way ticket has costs us 72 Euro for 2 Person. Just a tip: better to reserve a ticket online before going in the Bergstation 🤗Well-recommended for people visiting Switzerland 👍😇🥰 Add this to your Bucketlist and it’s definitely worth to try🏔⛰👌🙌

Very good day out. Tickets purchased online. The view was amazing. We done round trip around the lake. Be sure you wear proper hiking shoes. Mine was destroyed by the end of exploring.
