• Terrible service each time we visited, food is not bad, decent beer. • Non-Germans AVOID this place and beware, as soon as they find out you're not local, they treat you like garbage. • I was visiting Tübingen for a business trip and was recommended this place for their local brews, which are not too bad. The food is okay as well, nothing special. • What is absolutely atrocious, however, is their service. The first time we came, it took them nearly 20 minutes to even notice us and bring us menus/ask us if we wanted beer. And all that after we approached the waiter ourselves, not the other way around. Next round of beers took a long time to arrive and when we finally got a small appetizer, they never cleared it off the table when we were done, just let the dirty plates sit there. The worst was yet to come during paying. We kept wanting to pay, but nobody would notice us. It was not busy at all and we were NOT hidden in the corner. We actually were seated right in front of the bar and it seemed they deliberately avoided us. My corporate card wasn't working properly at the register and the waiter, instead of politely telling me that or asking for a different card, threw the declined receipt on the table and acted extremely rudely. • The second visit was even worse. That time I visited with people that spoke German, so no way for the guy (same rude guy as our first visit) to be able to tell we were tourists. The food was good and beers kept coming, a pleasant service, until I wanted to pay and showed him an American card. The waiter's mood and treatment of us was a complete 180° change. He started off politely and turned into the same rude person from night before. The card didn't work properly again (despite me contacting the bank) and the waiter, instead of politely asking for another card, just threw the card on the table saying it doesn't work. Yes, THREW it back, not even handing it back to me. I don't think expecting polite and respectful service is that much to wish for, but throwing my card back on the table and getting angry is not a way to treat people. I ended up speaking to the manager, who just looked terrified of what had happened. He didn't say he will talk to the ride employee, nor did he offer me a discount or anything. This is a town where people come for business and if your employees clearly cannot treat guests with respect, then you will never see me again here. I will gladly take my money where it is appreciated. This was one of the worst experiences in a restaurant I have ever seen. Even if my card didn't work 6 times, it doesn't cost them anything to try it again. I wonder if he even run the transaction properly, because my other card worked even without a PIN. But if you act condescending to guests and throw their card back towards them, then you won't have happy patrons coming back. AVOID this place.

Best place in Tübingen for a true Biergarten experience! Great Schwäbisch food and absolutely delicious beer. Plus when it is warm outside you can enjoy the wonderful views of the Rhine. One of my favorite places in Tübingen!

Friendly service with good beer here. German dishes are tasty. Good place for dining and chill out with friends.

Very pleasant experience. Good covid protocol outside and inside of the restaurant. Ordered the Käsespätzle and the Flammkuchen. Both were very good.

It was so nice to sit there with my fiancé near the river, so we enjoyed drinking our beers🍻 but they didn’t have fries 🍟.and a little bit I expected more friendliness from the waiter and it was not so clean, my glass had some drops on it.

Gasthausbrauerei Neckarmüller in Tübingen offers a pleasant experience with its quality beer and excellent location. The beer served here is good, with a range of options to suit different tastes. The location is another strong point, situated in the heart of Tübingen. I was a visitor exploring the city, and it provides an enjoyable option for a drink and a good time.

Nice place, food was good and if you sit next to the river you have a pretty view.

I really liked their drinks, specially the local red eine while enjoying beautiful view of the river. The ambiance of the restaurant is good too and staff are quite courteous. However, we ordered one of their main German dishes and the meat was well done to my surprise! The staff are nice but too busy to care or convey your feedback to the chef.

Great food, awesome flavours - especially the local style steak with onion (without the -"noodles ") the beers are reasonably ok, service is overwhelming busy on weekday evening - patience with the bill and missing attentiveness

We drive 45 minutes because of their food! It is delicious!!! Dogs are welcome. They have a beautiful Biergarten.

They have great beer here. Would definately recommend trying the kraftbier. The service was very friendly and professional. Not sure about the kitchen however, they sent out cold Spätzle twice. The first time it was cold, the second time just warm. All in all, this location is great, and so is the beer but I wouldn't eat there again.

Nice place for a drink but would eat elsewhere. Very average food. Had Linsen and the Maultschen dishes- both were too sour and slightly overcooked. Better luck with other dishes perhaps.

Possibly the worst service I’ve ever experienced. My partner and I went for a late bite to eat and while the place was busy, our server took care of every table but ours. The wait wasn’t worth it, as the food was subpar.

Perfect place. Good location along the river. Great people. Tasty food. Fresh beer. Good menu. Veggy to. German typical cuisine. A place to visit and eat and drink. Thanks guys. Try those shots in nice glasses. You can buy one to take a souvenir.

This restaurant had a beautiful view and the food was delicious. They do have vegetarian food and English menus.
